well @pavonaccia they do tend to record before the actual performance that way they can sing over the track just incase they mess up and it will sound the same. remember ashley simpson on saturday night live?

chomsky, she's using that microphone..u can understand it, because she sings OUT OF TUNE!!! not like on the cd..
