That Scream cracks me up every time and the line "Well, you could pull my file instead of standing there pullin' your pud." Chevy was brilliant in the early/mid eighties, but unfortunetly he lost it somewhere. His choice of movies in the past 20 odd years hasn't helped matters either. This is from 1988, I believe, and it might have been the last one.

I dont know Zuja 59...George Burns, Bob Hope, Buddy Hackett, Steve Martin (just to name a few) held up pretty well in their later years.

Chevy Chase is about 66 years old. The last decent comedy he made IMO was Christmas Vacation back in 1989. Since then, it's been one stinker right after another! Sure he got older but I'm not so certain if that's why he fizzled out like he did.

Some say he's an arrogant,difficult SOB to work with..maybe that's why his popularity sank!?

Chevy has the ability to connect with average guys who like to prank, mess around, get sloppy and give you the straight face humor. Notice Chevy always lets you know through his eyes that he is off on another planet. Johnathan Winters did the same thing.
