  • Like your pet Griz Rich! Great ideas for the pot and production on the vid. Been busy buddy!

  • @wawhiker Hey buddy :o) Thanks man! Yeah I call him Grizz, and I feed him small children to keep him calm...LMAO! I've had this stove for a few months now. Posted some pics on hammockforums. Thanks for the kind words buddy :o)

  • Very nice

  • @hinckleypoland Thanks!

  • WIN!!!!!!!!!! :) When did you start production on this one? Put me down for 2 please... How much? I like the design with the canning jar; NICE. Questions...1. how many ounces alcohol? 2. what altitude are you at for 7 minute boil time? ...JimmyG

  • @cont... almost forgot... i too like the bear intro 5/5.

  • @ez2curanut Thanks :o)

  • @ez2curanut Haha! Unfortunately there not in production but...easy to make :o) The stove holds 1 oz of alcy. I was at around 3000 ft. elevation

  • That's it! Now I remember.

  • Do I remember you and I having a Jetboil conversation a while back?

  • @jeepnicc Maybe? sounds familiar! I don't have one, but I do use the Reactor.

  • I'm just used to my Brunton Raptor! Seven min is pretty good for an alcahol stove though.

  • @jeepnicc It's satisfactory :o) But yeah, all alcy stoves are a sit and wait type of thing...hehe! That's why I have a few propane ones as well :o)

  • That's pretty flippin' slick dude!!! Not too jazzed about the seven min boil though.

  • @jeepnicc Thanks buddy :o) Not jazzed eh?...haha! I think Tinny's atomic is around the same boil time INDOORS! This is in the real world OUTDOORS :o)

  • Love the new intro....great stove!

  • @bushcraftbartons Thanks Mike :o)

  • Nice new peace of gear there Mr Rich looks good dose it preform better than the minibull

  • @medicjimr Thanks budd! I believe Tinny's miniAtomic is around the same boil time :o)

  • @FourReason Hehe Thanks man :o) no rockets anytime soon buddy...haha!

  • Does this mean I now have to give up on the Wold Famous Kook Kit? I kind of like mine. But now I like this one also. Wait! This is how it gets started. Eh? The alcohol addition? I am watching you man .....!

  • @EconoChallenge Haha! Yup, it's an addiction buddy! a big addiction :o) How's that stove I sent you? Are you enjoying that ?

  • @Ggreenvideos It needs a sturdy base and I will be taking it our for another spin .... soon!

  • nice job. looks good

  • @aokspage Thanks man :o)

  • I like this kit and the idea of a one piece stove/pot stand is very appealing Thanks again Rich great video. I also love your Grizzly.

  • @DrunknShooter Haha, cool :o) Thanks man!

  • Great job coming up with your own MYOG cage!

I own the Squirrel cage and very much love it. My only "issue" with it is the "packability" factor. It pretty much has to be in a stuff sack / container all of it's own, as it simply cannot pack in with anything else I've got.

The boil time on it is a few minutes longer than the mini-atomic... but the mini-atomic does not have a prayer of a chance holding up the the "simmering" factor that the Squirrel Cage can provide.

    Again, nice job!

  • @RedwoodOutdoors Thanks :o) I agree, the bongo is a good simmer stove for sure.
