i think i like it better than the john mayer version. i kinda got this vibe that mayer didn't capture the spirit of the song the way hendrix meant it to be. mayer's version is great, yours is great, but when it comes to hendrix's songs, i'm a blues purist, and i feel like the home recorders get that better than the celebrity cover artists like mayer and vai.
