the enemy mortarman mightve been overshooting their convoy from behind them and theyre just wasting ammo

theres no way to defend from mortars unless you know their general direction.

or if you have enough AT4s for a death blossom.

as a general rule of machine gunning, you only spray the impact area of YOUR OWN mortars.

Im a vet of OIF. I can tell when grazing fire can make a kill and in this scenario only plunging fire from an indirect weapon system such as an 81mm mortar wouldve gotten those kills.
