She is not Japanese.
She is Korean resident in Japan.

@mi4xx Racially she's Korean, but born and raised in Japan (Zainichi Korean), and her home and career is in Japan.

@mcanguish1977 That's not enough for most Japanese unfortunately. I think it's a difficult thing for them to come to terms with. Even my girlfriend said it about her best friend. "She's 100% Korean because both her parents are"
