If you all want original Horror then I suggest you start looking at the European and Asian film industry. They have come out with some pretty good original ones in recent years. The US film industry rarely takes on an unknown writer. If they do they take the idea and commercialize it so much that it sucks usually.

Like in the ending for example, How the hell could a delusion that only exists in Michael Myers head hold down his sister? Also the character of Dr. Sam Loomis. was a real dick in this one. It was a complete 360 change from the character he was in the first film. Personally I still prefer Donald Pleasence's Loomis over this one.

Never know Rob might make a last minute decision to say what the hell let's do this. During a interview about the first remake he said he was not going to make another one and well of course he came out with a second one. Rob Zombie should be shot for even trying to remake these films. It's a huge stab to the franchise. Do your own movies with your gore and white trash but keep Michael Myers out of it! @nezomega thats exactly where he went wrong. michael was a silent stalker, never being seen until it was too late, keeping to the shadows, and biding his time. he was meticulous and neat, being creative with his kills. in robs remakes he was this big, blundering pshyco who killed how ever he could, not caring who saw him, or who survived, just so long as he thought they were dead. all he did was stab, beat, or choke his victims. rob went too far from the story, and nearly tried to rewrite it.

Actually I hope Tyler Mane doesn't play Michael. The original actor in 1978 was about 5'11" a normal height for a guy playing a 21 year old killer. Tyler Mane is about 6'3" to 6'5".......not exactly a realistic height for a 25 year old killer. But thats just my opinion.

Like in the ending for example, How the hell could a delusion that only exists in Michael Myers head hold down his sister? Also the character of Dr. Sam Loomis. was a real dick in this one. It was a complete 360 change from the character he was in the first film. Personally I still prefer Donald Pleasence's Loomis over this one.

Never know Rob might make a last minute decision to say what the hell let's do this. During a interview about the first remake he said he was not going to make another one and well of course he came out with a second one. I'm sure there are still a hell of alot of evil ideas running through his head. Hell even friday the 13th are coming out with another remake sometime this year i think herd correctly. Rob Zombie should be shot for even trying to remake these films. It's a huge stab to the franchise. Do your own movies with your gore and white trash but keep Michael Myers out of it! The only reason they even made them is because Hollywood is on this high of remaking classic shit that doesn't need to be remade in the first place. I did like RZ's remakes, but the original Micheal was so much better, and Resurrection started off great until they kill off Laurie first...she should've outlasted until the end, they both appear to be dead but Micheal rises and walks away...For 9 settle things with the rest of his family...Steven(Part6)with Tommy, Kara, & Danny...or John and Molly(H20)...no family in Resurrection is what was missing from it...

@nezomega thats exactly where he went wrong. michael was a silent stalker, never being seen until it was too late, keeping to the shadows, and biding his time. he was meticulous and neat, being creative with his kills. in robs remakes he was this big, blundering pshyco who killed how ever he could, not caring who saw him, or who survived, just so long as he thought they were dead. all he did was stab, beat, or choke his victims. rob went too far from the story, and nearly tried to rewrite it.

@bloodykissesmistress i feel the exact same way. rob just ruined michaels image, he messed up the story so bad. at least the friday the 13th remake stuck to the story for the most part, but rob just really strayed too far from it. michael never had these visions of his mother, and laurie didnt go crazy until ressurection, and even then she was still holding on to a few of her marbles. but in hII she actually went rocking back and forth insane. it makes no sense at all. they shouldnt let him do 3

If zombie wanted to honor this movie, he shuld have carefuly continued the Original script (making it better, perhaps), allowing to show the day-and-age of that time with proper Beginnings of how Lil-Michael Myers became the monster. He left out the "Voice" that told MMyers to kill, he left out the "Evil Power" that made him to kill (the motive reason), he shuld hav used the life style class wer it began not wht trash.

Actually I hope Tyler Mane doesn't play Michael. The original actor in 1978 was about 5'11" a normal height for a guy playing a 21 year old killer. Tyler Mane is about 6'3" to 6'5".......not exactly a realistic height for a 25 year old killer. But thats just my opinion.
