Hey Tiger?!$.5B in the bank? How much do you need to grow a back bone. Answer: Never Enough! You can't put on price on the acceptance of mainstream society. Wees Happay and Free Now, Boss!!!
Yeah grow a backbone and stand up the the current slave masters that run the plantations...oh what? Slavery over? Emancipation proclamation? Damn I like living in the past and expecting everything to be handed to me!
What are you talking about? Anyway while you are babbling on YouTube about whatever, I gave 5 speeches to public school kids on success and raised $5000 for Historically Black Colleges. So what have you been doing?
AS college is so expensive I think so many peple are not paying attention to this as much as hearing free tutition-If OBmam gets in today JOe Biden promised he and Obama promised every one can go to college-We live in a small town and got money from Bill Gates-he gave thousands and thousands to our community and I think in 5 years 300 kids got to go to college . If Obama gets in I would, if I was young, Immediatly go and apply for college for next quater or summer quater. It is free-why not
I don't see you say anything about Rahm Emanuel, who served in the Israeli army during the first gulf war? Paster Wright was a Marine. What military branch did you serve in? I am so tired of you self righteous people. Rahm Emanuel is a dual Israeli citizen.
So the president's church runs the country? Or is this another "hope on the al sharpton bandwagon" and play the "angry black" card like mr anti tiger woods up there in the comments. Pathetic...everyone sells out...just a question of price
Thank you God!!!!!....you sent us Rev Wright....LOL....now at least I know for sure that there is no way in HELL that HUSSEIN OBAMA will EVER be elected president...."No, No, No, not god bless America, GODDAMN AMERICA"....keep preaching brotha!!!!!
I find it funny that al sharpton made damn sure Don Imus, a man not running for president got fired for his "nappy heaed hoe's" comment, But says nothing about a punishment for these two racist pastors.
I agree, and I also want to add that this video's title is misleading. Sharpton, cocksucker that he is, was rationalizing for Obama and kissing his ass, as usual. It was the white guy at the end who said that Obma should have left the church. And there was a dumb cunt sitting next to him that made an asinine comment about freedom of religion. But Sharpton, true to turd form, was defending Obama, his favorite turd!
And Rahm Emanuel is a dual citizen Israeli who didn't serve one term in the US military, but he had time to serve for 2 years in the Israeli Army during the first gulf war? He loves Israel more than America

if you are white and have never been the "ghetto" and seen th lifestyles that the young black children are subject to, then i doubt you would make such ignorant comments. if you look at lower economic white areas there is as much crime and welfare dependance. when you dont have anything and are raised by pay parents who didnt have anything, then it is difficult to strive to excellence.
the education system in lower economic areas is terrible. they offer little future besides the military. while suburban white schools create a stigma that if your not going to a 4 year college you are a looser. the bar of standards is significantly higher.
Come to the South, my friends, where parental cultural influence and fear result in parents pulling kids out of school (40% high school dropout rate where I am); parents don't work and don't anything positive to improve their lot. These are hypocritical Bible-thumping Baptists. They refuse to allow legal liquor in the county but travel outside to booze it up. The liquor store parking lot at the country club is full of these people living by "do as I say, not as I do."
Thank you. More Africans were sold into slavery in the carribean and south america than the US and most of them feel the same way. For some good reading on the subject looked up "The age if white guilt and the disappearance of the black individual". It's very good.
Sharpton said he should have left the church if he had heard such comments used. Obama admits that he heard such comments used but only after first denying that he did. So why isn't Sharpton being interviewed after Barack admitted to hearing those hateful comments?
Of course Obama's supporters on the left and in most of the mainstream media are satisfied. They were completely bought and sold on Obama before he even gave his speech. The general public, most of whom STILL don't know who the hell Jeremiah Wright is, will not be so easily convinced and will wonder why a guy who preaches racial transcendence has maintained such close ties to a christian version of Louis Farrakhan. If he wants to be president, he can't simply speech his way out of it.
Ask any Obama supporter to explain why they would vote for him and how they expect him to do all of the things he claims he can and will do. They have no idea. Makes sense they wouldn't know... Obama doesn't know either. It says it in his book. I've read it.
jforgenius, you are not saying anything that Wright's defenders haven't been saying since the video-tapes came out. Is 1% alot among liberal do gooders, who like to lecture the rest of us about compassion, change and giving back? Maybe the fancy new mansion took more paint than they thought.
You go to church for The Word. Pastors say politically incorrect things but thats thier job. You don't leave your church family the first time they make what you consider a mistake. Pastor Wright happened to be on point with most of his comments from a Biblical perspective.
The Bible ask man to stand on the truth!!! Now if the US which it has been known to give dieases to people is wrong and the Pastor call them out on it then by all means he is doing GOD work nobody gets mad at JESUS when he calls those JEWS in the bible the devil in fact he says "If you loved me you would follow me but you dont cause you are from your father the devil" see you expect a sermon to be all good but the times aren't all good it is his duty to call out the evil being done
fsucentaur2, you're missing the point. The U.S. Government does NOT create STDs (such as AIDS) in a lab to destroy blacks. That's paranoia on Wright's behalf.
TranCendenZ, I assume you make those statements w/o knowledge of FACTUAL events such as the "white-run U.S. Government" funding & sanctioning the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment (1932-1972), which was not in "the bible". Its not at all "paranoid" to think they created HIV specifically to kill minorities & I'd like to think they didn't but its IMPOSSIBLE to rule out considering the facts.
"I'll never apologize for the United States. Ever. I don't care what the facts are." -George H. W. Bush
I wish I were that important (not really). Anyway, I hit refresh after I thought the message had posted which canceled it. So what I was saying was that I'd like to think the govt would not do such a thing but it is impossible to rule out due to past and current history...
That said and to answer your question, it is not far-fetched for the govt to pile billions of dollars into finding a cure/treatment considering that HIV threatens innumerable (unintended) people. The Iraq war is a prime example of an operation-gone-wrong where the govt. continuously piles money into it. That said, my stance remains that I'd like to think differently but I can't rule it out...
Exactly, people who know anything about the Tuskeegee Exp. would not be surprised about Wright's suspicion. The Pastor is supposed to preach from The Bible and, as we all know, The God in the Bible would have no problem condemning an entire nation (see Egypt- Sodom and Gomorrah- The Whole World), even the United States. Now if we wanted to debate all pastors who preach this gospel on theological grounds (this would include Pat Robertson, Billy Graham, etc) thats an entirely different story.
People who consider Rev. Wright's comments to be "racist" not only don't know the meaning of the word, they don't know the man, have a twisted view of Rev. Wright's sermons, and are likely taking his comments completely out of context. Most white people are loathe to deal with anti-Black racism and prefer to switch the focus to - surprise! - themselves. Having been born and raised within the white community, I know this to be true.
The white guy said it and pressed Sharpton who replied: "If he (Obama) heard it." Heard Rev. Wright. Three days later in his speech Obama admitted he heard Wright's controversial sermons. Obviously Al's either prevaricating or simply not in the Obama loop like he claims he is.
Funny how people are relating this to racism. Wright told the truth and people are afraid to admit that. If you listen to the WHOLE sermon, not fox's sound bites, then you would have a better perspective. Black people will NEVER get over slavery, just as Jewish people will NEVER get over the holocaust. Why? Because racism still exists. You CANNOT get rid of reverse racism or tell people to "get over it" when the originators of racism are teaching it to their kids.
These are idiots who are trying to loped Church & State together. Our founding fathers knew better when they separated church & state, we should learn from them and keep them separate.
The cardinal book of the Church is the Bible & not the constitution.
Prophet Jeremiah, Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, etc Call on the Judgement of God upon the Israelities, Jerusalem, Pharisee, scribes, etc.
God is not only the God of love, he is also the God of Judgement. He created Heaven & Hell.
I'm not expecting black people to forget, but I do expect them to move on. Why should I be part of a prejudice by black people (like not allows to say the n-word when all of them say it)because of what my ancestors did? Should I really be held responsible for slavery? Should I be held responsible because they didn't get their rights? I don't think so. I'm tolerable but not tolerable enough for thinks like Rev. Writh's statements.
Search: 4 The Audacity of Barack Obama 2 ( 3 PARTS) Obama's forgotten people THE AUDACITY OF HATE - Obama & Pastor Wright Typical White People the BLIND followers will NOT do it ! Those who are UNDECIDED or seek the TRUTH, PLEASE SEARCH the above videos! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY and your duty. VOTE AS YOU PLEASE, but well informed. VOTE COMO QUIERA PERO BIEN INFORMADO Hiding THIS is WRONG and anti-american.
I'm sorry I have to agree with ovcatto you sound not only idiotic but painfully so. I have friends of all races and in my opinion Blacks as a group have tolerated and still tolerate more abuse than any other group of people. Seems they're often attacked for simply daring to acknowledge racism especially if they acknowledge it in a loud and colorful manner. Again this is so overblown and most Whites know it. This lynch mob mentality disgusts me.
you are absolutely right...hundreds of years of oppression, slavery, racism, and only 40 some years of basic american rights
and white people expect african americans to forget?
and to be nice?
"you gotta be nice now because we gave you your rights"
Pastor John Hagee, whose endorsement John McCain was "honored" and "proud" to receive. Hagee says Katrina was God's punishment for homosexuality, Jews are to blame for anti-Semitism, and Catholicism is the "Whore of Babylon" and "a cult."2
Well I think many Blacks ARE nice, sometimes too nice in comparison to what other groups will tolerate. And now there is an attempt to muzzle Black preachers in there own churches because some outsider "deems" comments racist. Pleaze!
i think gays have been (and still are) attacked -and openly - more than any group, not blacks. as for this being 'overblown,' i don't agree. i think wright's racism is offensive and imho obama should have left that church.
I agree gays are attacked but I disagree with "more than any other group" because homosexuality can be concealed to avoid attacks. As for being overblown this is outrageously overblown, people who control this country and the media see him as a threat to the status quo and are working 24/7 to take him down by inciting public fear. People should NOT fall for it. All racism is offensive I just don't think Wright's statements are racist just a viewpoint many don't want to hear.
gays can 'conceal' their identity to avoid being attacked. if you have to conceal your real identity, there is something very wrong with our society. as for wright, if you defend his racism, you have to defend everyone's...and to me it's wrong no matter how you spin it.
Geez, becki, he was the darling of the media right up until the Ohio/Texas primaries. What are you talking about? The 24/7 discrediting campaign has been focused on Hillary. She represents powerful/substantive change and the male ptb know it. As for Wright's comments 2 wrongs don't make a right.
First of all you have "presumed" racism. Please tell me what he has said that is "racist". I've been waiting for this answer since the comments were recycled in the media ad nauseam. I await your reply. And who the heck are YOU to decide what church someone attends. You presume to know more about his pastor than he does. Why? Because of Fox news? Think people!
Friends, I've been to black churches and I've never witnessed hate-mongering speech coming from the pulpit. They're joyous, uplifting services. I was on the morning show at an all-black urban radio station in DC and not once did I witness any racial bias toward me. Yes, at first I felt out of the loop, but everyone made me comfortable.
This is what they say when whitey ain't watching. The great thing about this controversy is that it reveals just how many people--and not just blacks--on the left not only tolerate but share Wright's views of this country. This fact needs to be made crystal clear in the general election campaign.
Dear Seans10: Sharpton didn't know I was taping it, either. I attended the R&R Talk Radio Seminar and it was officially being recorded by a videographer. I knew the panel was going to be controversial so I sat in the front row with my new relatively unobtrusive Flip videocamera.
I appreciate your doing it, too. I had heard Malzberg talking about it and wondered if I'd ever get to see the video. Let me ask, did anyone get a chance to ask Sharpton about the people murdered at Freddie's Fashion Mart? Tawana Brawley?
This is a terrible statement made by an individual who has no knowledge of what he or she speaks of. If the statement you make concerning African American criminality is true, what is the reason for crimes committed by non-African American's. Get an education before you decide to reply to another email.
I would suggest that you attend service in a black church so that the next time you write a comment you won't be perceived as being an idiot, at best.
Why would anyone think that a 5 or 10 min clip (even if it is run continuously) summarizes all this preacher is and has done for the church community? By this time anyone concerned with the presidential candidates know or should know that the Obamas are decent, intelligent people who know there pastor a lot better than Faux News or any of the other obviously insanely biased noise programs. Let's not hide our fear or racism behind the mask the media is apparently quite desperate to provide.
correction 30 sec/1 min clips. I don't see "hate mongering" what I see is a man voicing his discontent with discrimination shown towards Blacks, along with his discontent towards America's foreign policy. And secondly why are we pretending we have not associated with people (many times otherwise likable people) who have made controversial remarks that some perceive as racist. This is so overblown it's sickening. The distortion of it is what is racist. I'm embarrassed for this country.
People who, in my presence, make racist - but it goes beyond racist to include hatred-for America - statements I stop associating with. Period. I do not continue associating with them for 20 years and give them a job in my campaign, etc. And, if they're family, I contest, and, if there's no change, I limit my association as much as possible: you choose your own pastor and church, though, and can leave at any time. Now, we are being told that the "typical white person" can't help talk racist.
What did he say that was racist? Re: "hatred for US". He served in the marines, risked his life for this country, he if anyone has a right to criticize this country's
I think this is all bs manufactured by corporate backed media. This is the best they can do? Anyone being objective can see this man is more ethical than anyone on the campaign trail. It's about as foolish and biased as singling Obama out as the ONLY one required to wear a flag pin. While flag pin wearing congressmen/women send OUR children off to die in an unneccessary war. People need to wake up!!!
The difference is when Obama's foundation of beliefs shape his Marxist policies, we should question it as a democracy. I don't question his faith in God. But I do question the church establishment and it's true meaning. Liberation should be about Jesus liberating all people of all races. This "liberation theology" tells black people that others are to blame even in 2008, when that is 100% false.
Are we ready to elect a socialist and become like the nations of europe?
Visit Trinity church's You Tube site to see long stretches of Rev. Wright's sermons. They're quite wonderful. You don't have to agree with everything he says. Just listen, with an open mind.
Actually the sine quo non of the church seems to be race, which makes it an odd for choice for a guy who claims to be about transcending racial differences. I'm fairly sure--actually, I am sure since he finally admitted it after having lied for a year--Obama knew what that church was about. The only real defense is that he either shares those views and is lying about what he truly believes, or it was simply political opportunism on his part. His wife's a nasty piece of work as well.
Absolutely!

The reason Obama wont' win the election is because he's so far left, even democrats will jump ship and vote McCain if he's nominated.
He preaches unity, but both Obama and Hillary have naturally divided the democratic party based on where they sit on that "spectrum."
I honestly believe a 3rd major party made up of all socialists will be here within the next 5 years (no knock to green party or libertarians).

fsucentaur2 3 years ago
fsucentaur2, you're missing the point. The U.S. Government does NOT create STDs (such as AIDS) in a lab to destroy blacks. That's paranoia on Wright's behalf.
TranCendenZ 3 years ago
TranCendenZ, I assume you make those statements w/o knowledge of FACTUAL events such as the "white-run U.S. Government" funding & sanctioning the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment (1932-1972), which was not in "the bible". Its not at all "paranoid" to think they created HIV specifically to kill minorities & I'd like to think they didn't but its IMPOSSIBLE to rule out considering the facts.

crymeafuckinriver, cry me a fuckin' river. if the government created AIDS, then why are they spending billions to destroy the disease?

crymeafuckinriver, it must be the U.S. Government blocking you. They're out to get you. :p
TranCendenZ 3 years ago
I wish I were that important (not really). Anyway, I hit refresh after I thought the message had posted which canceled it. So what I was saying was that I'd like to think the govt would not do such a thing but it is impossible to rule out due to past and current history...
crymeafuckinriver 3 years ago
(cont'd)
That said and to answer your question, it is not far-fetched for the govt to pile billions of dollars into finding a cure/treatment considering that HIV threatens innumerable (unintended) people. The Iraq war is a prime example of an operation-gone-wrong where the govt. continuously piles money into it. That said, my stance remains that I'd like to think differently but I can't rule it out...
crymeafuckinriver 3 years ago
Exactly, people who know anything about the Tuskeegee Exp. would not be surprised about Wright's suspicion. The Pastor is supposed to preach from The Bible and, as we all know, The God in the Bible would have no problem condemning an entire nation (see Egypt- Sodom and Gomorrah- The Whole World), even the United States. Now if we wanted to debate all pastors who preach this gospel on theological grounds (this would include Pat Robertson, Billy Graham, etc) thats an entirely different story.

It's hard to take his remarks out of context.
ChickaBoombox 3 years ago
People need to listen to Wright in full context then make judgment.
crunk4christ2006 3 years ago
People who consider Rev. Wright's comments to be "racist" not only don't know the meaning of the word, they don't know the man, have a twisted view of Rev. Wright's sermons, and are likely taking his comments completely out of context. Most white people are loathe to deal with anti-Black racism and prefer to switch the focus to - surprise! - themselves. Having been born and raised within the white community, I know this to be true.
SchoolofSoul 3 years ago
The white guy said it and pressed Sharpton who replied: "If he (Obama) heard it." Heard Rev. Wright. Three days later in his speech Obama admitted he heard Wright's controversial sermons. Obviously Al's either prevaricating or simply not in the Obama loop like he claims he is.
ChickaBoombox 3 years ago
And Sharpton did NOT say that obama should have left the church. That white guy said that.
Ronlg1 3 years ago
Funny how people are relating this to racism. Wright told the truth and people are afraid to admit that. If you listen to the WHOLE sermon, not fox's sound bites, then you would have a better perspective. Black people will NEVER get over slavery, just as Jewish people will NEVER get over the holocaust. Why? Because racism still exists. You CANNOT get rid of reverse racism or tell people to "get over it" when the originators of racism are teaching it to their kids.
Ronlg1 3 years ago
Sharpton needs a muzzle just like Wright does.

These are idiots who are trying to loped Church & State together. Our founding fathers knew better when they separated church & state, we should learn from them and keep them separate.
The cardinal book of the Church is the Bible & not the constitution.

Shame on the media for not bringing it up!
Shame on the people for not asking about it!
Shame on the Illinois Senate for not caring!

JennfromPenn 3 years ago 3
you are absolutely right...hundreds of years of oppression, slavery, racism, and only 40 some years of basic american rights
and white people expect african americans to forget?
and to be nice?
"you gotta be nice now because we gave you your rights"
Pastor John Hagee, whose endorsement John McCain was "honored" and "proud" to receive. Hagee says Katrina was God's punishment for homosexuality, Jews are to blame for anti-Semitism, and Catholicism is the "Whore of Babylon" and "a cult."2

Well I think many Blacks ARE nice, sometimes too nice in comparison to what other groups will tolerate. And now there is an attempt to muzzle Black preachers in there own churches because some outsider "deems" comments racist. Pleaze!
becki1964 3 years ago
i think gays have been (and still are) attacked -and openly - more than any group, not blacks. as for this being 'overblown,' i don't agree. i think wright's racism is offensive and imho obama should have left that church.
mzzh 3 years ago
I agree gays are attacked but I disagree with "more than any other group" because homosexuality can be concealed to avoid attacks. As for being overblown this is outrageously overblown, people who control this country and the media see him as a threat to the status quo and are working 24/7 to take him down by inciting public fear. People should NOT fall for it. All racism is offensive I just don't think Wright's statements are racist just a viewpoint many don't want to hear.
becki1964 3 years ago
gays can 'conceal' their identity to avoid being attacked. if you have to conceal your real identity, there is something very wrong with our society. as for wright, if you defend his racism, you have to defend everyone's...and to me it's wrong no matter how you spin it.
mzzh 3 years ago
Geez, becki, he was the darling of the media right up until the Ohio/Texas primaries. What are you talking about? The 24/7 discrediting campaign has been focused on Hillary. She represents powerful/substantive change and the male ptb know it. As for Wright's comments 2 wrongs don't make a right.
1sm08 3 years ago
First of all you have "presumed" racism. Please tell me what he has said that is "racist". I've been waiting for this answer since the comments were recycled in the media ad nauseam. I await your reply. And who the heck are YOU to decide what church someone attends. You presume to know more about his pastor than he does. Why? Because of Fox news? Think people!

Sharpton makes money off his "peoples" downfalls. It's complete bullshit and the man should be kicked in the head.

ChickaBoombox 3 years ago
This is what they say when whitey ain't watching. The great thing about this controversy is that it reveals just how many people--and not just blacks--on the left not only tolerate but share Wright's views of this country. This fact needs to be made crystal clear in the general election campaign.
seans10 3 years ago 2
Dear Seans10: Sharpton didn't know I was taping it, either. I attended the R&R Talk Radio Seminar and it was officially being recorded by a videographer. I knew the panel was going to be controversial so I sat in the front row with my new relatively unobtrusive Flip videocamera.

I appreciate your doing it, too. I had heard Malzberg talking about it and wondered if I'd ever get to see the video. Let me ask, did anyone get a chance to ask Sharpton about the people murdered at Freddie's Fashion Mart? Tawana Brawley?
seans10 3 years ago
No one would've dared bring that up, Sean. The panel was called a "Reverse Debate" sort of like a presidential debate. It was current issues.

This is a terrible statement made by an individual who has no knowledge of what he or she speaks of. If the statement you make concerning African American criminality is true, what is the reason for crimes committed by non-African American's. Get an education before you decide to reply to another email.

I would suggest that you attend service in a black church so that the next time you write a comment you won't be perceived as being an idiot, at best.
ovcatto 3 years ago 2
Why would anyone think that a 5 or 10 min clip (even if it is run continuously) summarizes all this preacher is and has done for the church community? By this time anyone concerned with the presidential candidates know or should know that the Obamas are decent, intelligent people who know there pastor a lot better than Faux News or any of the other obviously insanely biased noise programs. Let's not hide our fear or racism behind the mask the media is apparently quite desperate to provide.
becki1964 3 years ago 2
It would be ok if it was just one 5 or 10 min. clip. If you visit the political blogs you can see clip after clip of Rev. Wrights hate mongering
boppinbob 3 years ago
correction 30 sec/1 min clips.
JennfromPenn 3 years ago 4
People who, in my presence, make racist - but it goes beyond racist to include hatred-for America - statements I stop associating with. Period. I do not continue associating with them for 20 years and give them a job in my campaign, etc. And, if they're family, I contest, and, if there's no change, I limit my association as much as possible: you choose your own pastor and church, though, and can leave at any time. Now, we are being told that the "typical white person" can't help talk racist.

What did he say that was racist? Re: "hatred for US". He served in the marines, risked his life for this country, he if anyone has a right to criticize this country's

Becki: I think Obama has survived the Wright controversy. It's Ayers I worry about.
ChickaBoombox 3 years ago
I think this is all bs manufactured by corporate backed media. This is the best they can do? Anyone being objective can see this man is more ethical than anyone on the campaign trail. It's about as foolish and biased as singling Obama out as the ONLY one required to wear a flag pin. While flag pin wearing congressmen/women send OUR children off to die in an unneccessary war. People need to wake up!!!
becki1964 3 years ago
The difference is when Obama's foundation of beliefs shape his Marxist policies, we should question it as a democracy. I don't question his faith in God. But I do question the church establishment and it's true meaning. Liberation should be about Jesus liberating all people of all races. This "liberation theology" tells black people that others are to blame even in 2008, when that is 100% false.
Are we ready to elect a socialist and become like the nations of europe?
cowboycarl04 3 years ago
Liberation theology looks at the scripture from the perspective of the downtrodden.
It's the perspective that Jesus would have us experience--walk in another man's shoes.

Visit Trinity church's You Tube site to see long stretches of Rev. Wright's sermons. They're quite wonderful. You don't have to agree with everything he says. Just listen, with an open mind.

Thanks for telling me I don't have to agree with everything Wright says, in fact I don't agree with anything that moron says.
Wright needs to find some place else to live and you can go with him.
