Fresco is a true inspiration. I've believed in this anarchic system for as long as I can remember but always thought it was just a dream to be realised in centuries, Fresco with his brilliant technical and scientific knowledge has shown me that we can do it NOW!
Now I know how I will teach painting. I hated that art teachers would let bad art work be. I never liked it because it hurt their feelings. There is a right way and a wrong way to teach.
we could simply grow the internet into a global database of solutions and terminate the corporatized, centralized media oligarchy in favor of a localized comprehensive, and personal, free and independant social media with only the common goal, of the common good, at heart. the solutions are waiting for us.
Sure Jacque could say that, but what emperical evidence would he have to back up his claim? What mearsurements or emperical evidence does he have? However, opinions are still used in such a society, like how things look, feel, ease of use, etc.
So there will always need to be opinion, so there will always be choice.
I guess they would have to test his theory out in the name of non-peer-reviewed, make-it-up-as-you-go-along, pseudo-science i.e. his "god."
Fresco says "in the future no more opinions."

To be fair, he also doesn't understand what the word "decision" means... he believes that a scale "decides" how heavy an object is, and so I guess a pair of glasses constantly "decides" how clearly you see..
Yea, so anyway apparently in the future, the world will be a gigantic magic 8 ball.
Well, thats incorrect, theories would be tested by regular scientific method of course, and no Jacque is not making it up as he goes along, he is using logic and science.
He also says: "without opinions based on 'folksy' ways"
Actually, in fact it seems he does understand what the word decision means. A scale takes measurements of an item or items and displays the readings in some fashion so it can be read by a human. So, in fact a descision is a programmed response to stimuli.
By the way scales and glasses are two different concepts. A scale performs measurements, but glasses perform a function of focusing light, your logic seems to be flawed in a way.
A gigantic magic 8 ball, now thats an illogical leap! XD
Umm... what a scale performs is the mechanical magnification of a tiny change in the tension of a spring that is geared to alter the position of a dial uponwhich is attached a lever to work as a radius long enough to provide an accurate measurement along a circular guide or ruler, dumbass =P
It is in effect the mechanical "focusing" of force to aid in human judgment, just like a lens performs a mechanical focusing of photons to aid in HUMAN JUDGMENT, i.e. DECISION MAKING via HUMAN.
No one makes any decisions. We take samples of the soil, analyze it, and the DEPT. OF AGRICULTURE SAYS "It's best to grow sugar cane with this soil. That's no opinion."
Something tells me that the Dept. of Agriculture already had its mind made up to begin with...
What would make you think the Dept. of Agriculture had its mind made up to begin with? And besides the Dept. of Agriculture would need to have emperical evidence to back up their claim, which would be publicly available, that is more on the lines of what Jacque was talking about.
Regardless of how much empirical evidence is available, there is and will always be plenty of room for interpretation, and decision-making therefrom.
There will and can never be a perfect science of objective decision-making based on whatever data that isn't a completely totalitarian marketing ploy.
As a scientist, if you're an optimist you tend to believe that you are mostly wrong, whereas if you're a pessimist you tend to believe that everyone else is mostly wrong...

Gee he resembles Shakespeare a bit in this shirt and from the profile with his beard :). Very wise man.

New nickname for Jacque: Wise beard man. XD

Just an ingenious man. And what he wears is completely irrelevant - it's his ideas that count.

Indeed and we as a nation must restablish our ingenuity or else suffer a depression much greater than the last one.

I bet he tells his wife "Your butt is best used by ME!!! That is no opinion."
Remember kids: Where there is no opinion, there's no choice.
