I think this is the best version of this great song ever made! It even outdoes Elvis' version, which is also very good. Corey's is much more moving & haunting, as it carries you away, & you feel as though you're in a daydream! It also reminds me of my first "boyfriend", because this song was released during the time we began dating. Song far outlasted our relationship, though!!! Lol As they say, everything happens for a reason, which I truly do believe...

Excellent video! Very haunting. So simple and yet so heartfelt. Corey put his own spin on the song and it is beautiful. I love the way he tied the past, present, and future together. I bought the cassette "Fields of Fire" years ago and was surprised to find this song on it. It was such a pleasant surprise to listen to it, one of the few times that I was so moved by a song redone by another artist. I wish they made videos like this today....
