@ILOVETHE1700s Not sure how I can help I played this years ago. Have you tried installing it? Maybe you have to unzip it into a folder. I remember that some mods had multiple parts that you had to download and install in order cant remember if this was one them. it had a lot of maps so it probably did.

@snes317 Yes I have installed it now but it doesent work as it needs to be opened from the game menu, in "custom game". Do you know where to install it so I can access it from custom game?

The game can't be downloaded. You need to get it from BestBuy/eBay or wherever.

If you're looking for the mod, just google "bf1918 mod" and click the first link. Then download the client version 3.0.

Let me know if there are problems.

there not many servers only 3 or 4 and well i know the map its on is also in coop mod but bf1918 is well known for the ai crash bug where ai do nothing on screen and bf freeze up

Version 2.8 is released, they are already busy for a patch for the Singleplayer issue.

And they are making an Incremental of 2.7 to 2.8. cuz 2.8 is currently only avaible in 1.1 GB. awfully big eh?

Yeah sad but true. The glory days of this game are over and only the hard core still plays.. unfortunately there was never a real american community established and no american servers existed as well who were worth to mention here but at least we had one war with an brasilian clan.. a bit laggy but it was okay ^^

sadly, the mod is all but dead. The only players left are in Germany, which means lag for us in the US. It's a damn shame too, it's one of the best mods for any game, the gameplay is awesome.

what version is your bf1942 most bf1942 servers run patch 1.61b only some servers run 1.6 and you have download the patch as well as you need the patch to play online
