Sorry to disappoint you, but Darth Vader is most certainly not in this! This game is set a few hundred years after KOTOR I think, if memory serves, and thus several thousand years before the Galactic Empire!

the fighting looks super cheesy as it does in all mmorpgs, or online gamesl ike this in general, which is why I absolutely will not buy it. If they had made it like the original first two, it would've been so much nicer graphically, storywise, and just everything, I actually would've bought it, no doubt about that.. . .

@general2109 - I just miss the "Knights of the Old Republic" games, Bioware has been keeping us pre-occupied with masterpieces like the "Mass Effect" franchise, yet there's no sci-fi/fantasy world I love more than "Star Wars". Hopefully sometime in the near future Bioware will release another RPG instead of a MMO. Granted they're only available for the PC for a reason. Not everyone has online play.

@TheLordMasterGod I understand what you are saying. But the reason you are hearing so much talk of WoW, is because WoW set the bar for MMORPGs. Hands down it was the greatest and most dominant MMO in history. So ANY MMO that comes after, is going to be compared to WoW. If any company wants to compete, it has to be on par or better. Otherwise it will fail miserably, just like all the other so called "wow killers" before them.

I was an avid WoW player. When I first saw the footage of SWTOR I was disappointed. I didn't think the graphics were on par with PS1 graphics, much less an MMO of 2011. Well, since then, with the newer footage that's come out I've eaten my words. This looks like it's going to blow away everything, including WoW. I'm really liking some of the features, such as your own personal ship, and the companion system. This game looks very promising.
