Anyone who refuses to acknowledge the necessity of taxes is either an idiot, lying to appeal to the crowd in order to pursue his own agenda, or completely ignorant of the way society functions and should not be in these discussions in the first place. You cannot criticize the government for not doing this job if you are against them spending tax money, which is the ONLY source of money they have. If they did not take this tax, we would not have a functioning country.
Well, technically there are other sources of revenue, but they are minor supplements to taxation, which yeah is by far the major source of revenue the government has.

It made me extremely frustrated that the health care reform bill wasn't able to be passed. I hope in the coming elections, we get some more democrats, or at least some honest people of any party, who are willing to take some action. Right now, nothing is getting done. If there's one thing that I've learned in life its that even a wrong action is better than no action at all. Well, technically there are other sources of revenue, but they are minor supplements to taxation, which yeah is by far the major source of revenue the government has.

They have the physics and the data to back up their claim that controlled demolition brought down all three World Trade buildings on 9/11. Over 1,000 architects and engineers have signed their petition for a new investigation. I find that alone far more credible than a magazine publishing company.
