Chill out, you're all just interested in your own disciplines. Skating of any kind is a skill in itself, prehaps you should try both before you comment.
Skateboards will try their hardest to kill you since they're not connected to your feet.
Inline blades wont try to kill you, but the stability and speed they offer will let you wreck yourself just as big.
FYI: both blades and boards can grind chains, maybe you should invest more in other cultures before you all comment with your shitty hate.

I think it's funny going to a skatepark because i'll be blading and i'll see some kid trying to pull a nollie shuv-it over a 3-set crashing over and over on a skateboard. I actually saw this going on once, grabbed my skateboard, and pulled a nollie shuv-it over the stairs on my first attempt. True, skateboarding is such a high risk sport, that the chance of bashing your sack and having it removed is high. You won't have to worry about that in Rollerblading, due to the low skill level involved.

to Kingmerik999: I was not exposed through the x-games. If it were not for the streets I probably wouldn't be doing this right now. I like what the xgames did and I respect it, but lets face it. The modern xgames has turned into a joke. I can honestly say it never influenced the way I learned or enjoyed rolling. And skating isn't dead, Its just underground and if you haven't noticed (cause I have.) its starting to grow again...

True, skateboarding is such a high risk sport, that the chance of bashing your sack and having it removed is high. You won't have to worry about that in Rollerblading, due to the low skill level involved.

Rollerblading always just felt more natural to me. I don't see any reason to put them in a hierarchy. Maybe skateboarding does take more skill. I'm okay with that. It could be said that chess is more difficult than skateboarding, but you didn't choose chess based on that criteria.
