I was kinda shocked that the producers of "Dawn of the Dead" got Johnny Cash to sing some of the songs for that movie. Johnny Cash did a terrific job. No one could have sang them better than him. RIP Man in Black!!!

@wittlemunchikin Cash had done this track in 2002 for the album "American IV: The Man Comes Around." The film producers later bought the rights to use it, just like any other sound track. Great work by all involved, of course--not the least being Prologue Films who did the credits. Cash's work was perfect for task of setting the apocalyptic tone.
