Of course atheism is a religion. They have their own worldview, they have their own orthodoxy, their own prophets (Nietzsche, Russell, Feuerbach), their own preachers and evangelists (Dawkins, Harris, Mills, Barker), most importantly they have a great deal of faith (they have no evidence for their claims of no god, yet they still believe).

You know nothing of what it is like to be an athiest. You have no idea the amount of pain and suffering that I have received by my choice to not follow the societal standard of believing in a god. I don't blame you though, you have no reference to base it upon. I think if you did know what it was like you would have a greater understanding for why some athiests choose to attack christians for their beliefs. That reason has nothing to do with "pwning"..
Another reason why we don't try and correct other athiests is because there is no connection between us. Idiots will act like idiots regardless of any input from others. That goes for christians and athiests alike. There might be collections of athiests that choose to gather together, but that doesn't mean we are all connected to them. It is just a collection of like-minded people that choose to gather together to discuss their ideas. It has nothing to do with any sort of worship.
Despite what you want to believe, we aren't a religion. We don't congregate (at least not most of us). We don't have leaders; we don't have rules that we have to follow; we don't care about "pwning" (that is a childish action that doesn't really amount to anything useful). We don't practice any form of isolation from friends of family members, and we don't enforce others that are athiests to act a certain way. By that definition we cannot be defined as cult.
This is silly. Most atheists don't care what you believe (I am included in this category), but you seem to want to focus on the vocal minority here. Not all of us are ignorant beings that want to succumb to idiotic back and forth bickering, as I am sure many christians feel the same. The difference is we don't come forth and say anything. Many of us realize that nothing is going to come out of it, and it won't change either side's minds on the issue.
I feel like you might be generalizing a bit about atheists, but still it seems as if you've been exposed to a nasty subsection of atheism.

Yes, many (most) atheists ahere to science as their main sources of knowledge...

Atheism is I suppose a way of thinking, almost a school of thought because it requires a logical conclusion. The difference is people become atheists without much outside force, people aren't raised atheists very often, they just become one around the time they can start to think for themself. Honestly, the fact that you believe all atheists can be put in one group is just bigoted. Same thing was done with black people until not so long ago to justify treating them differently.

Another reason why we don't try and correct other athiests is because there is no connection between us. Idiots will act like idiots regardless of any input from others. That goes for christians and athiests alike. There might be collections of athiests that choose to gather together, but that doesn't mean we are all connected to them. It is just a collection of like-minded people that choose to gather together to discuss their ideas. It has nothing to do with any sort of worship.

Despite what you want to believe, we aren't a religion. We don't congregate (at least not most of us). We don't have leaders; we don't have rules that we have to follow; we don't care about "pwning" (that is a childish action that doesn't really amount to anything useful). We don't practice any form of isolation from friends of family members, and we don't enforce others that are athiests to act a certain way. By that definition we cannot be defined as cult.
