I would be angry. If this young man has learned to make peace with his sexuality, power to him, but I cannot condone this commercial. Pussy blocking is not cool.
What if the other guy is gay, but in the closet? What if went to this girl just because he was lonely, but isn't interested? What if she's gay, or just not that interested into him?
And the second guy just have to say something like. "I'm really sorry, and I appreciate you, but I like girls" or any other respectfull refusal line. So no pussy blocking here.
Because the individual is learning about themselves, and has questions that they need to answer, but can't ask anyone.
The children around them are at the age where they will do anything to look cool and popular, no matter how immature the things look to older people.
In Britain, 83% of LGBT people under 19 said they experienced hompphobia at school, 41% had been physically attacked, while 17% said they had received death threats. A further 43% had self-harmed and 28% considered suicide!
The words in the end is: "you don't need to be THAT tough." And then "homosexual's youth phone", basically somewhere you can call to talk about these things:) Norwegian ftw:)
