When i boarded in the early 90's we used hightop boots to board with it defeneantly helped out on that type of thing. Although i do believe i broke my area of my big toe somewhere there and just wore a tight shoe it hurt bad for a loong time but when your young sometimes you can take that type of shit and keep going.
