they can make them bigger but the weight really doesnt increase that much so they are still very light and portable just a bit bigger. This is pretty perfect for typing i dont really like my aspire one for typing too small

Yeah this one is starting to get too big..
When they went from 8.9 to 10" that made sense because in the 8.9 there was a bezel going around the screen so they could fit a bigger one in there without the outside dimensions getting bigger, but this 11.6 one looks bigger on the outside, which I'd say kind of ruins the point of a netbook.
I think they should've just stayed at 8.9" and worked on making it as thin as possible, but thats just me.

actually microsoft consider netbooks from 8.9 to 10 inches so it is a notebook withoput a optical drive

@Cucuriqui2 Wrong, Intel prefers netbooks to be limited to 10.1. However, 12.1 is the largest size for a netbook.

that 1.5 inches makes a difference. 1.5 more means you feel like it needs it own bag.
The aspire one 8.9 can be thrown into any bag. It is not something to be accommodated.
