That is Potassium Chlorate...Not Sodium Chlorate

This is not potassium chlorate, this is SODIUM chlorate. You can see the yellow color of the flame because of the sodium ions, whereas if u had used POTASSIUM chlorate, you would have obtained a purple flame, due to the potassium ions. This reaction would be nice to try with lithium chlorate, to obtain a nice and ref fire.
