In GT3, the Lister moved to the CLK Touring car's class. The GT-One and Nissan R390 were in the same group. In GT4, the Lister moved to the Nissan Z LM's group. The GT-One moved to the BMW V12 LMR's group. The R390 moved to the Mercedes CLK GTR's and the Gillet Vertigo's group.

it actualy posible to do, if i can get may emu to work in analog mode i'll make a video.

It consists in wining one of the 4WR races, (i use a hard tuned Lancer Evo VI) u get some chrysler concept car or something (grey), then tune it and use it to win the RR race (laguna seca, 3 laps) the gives u a GT40 Special Edition which sells for 500.000.

U only need to win 198 times to reach 99.999.999.

Also using this trick u can buy a Escudo in 6 hours or lest from a new game

Ah ha! This is the hardest car to win in the game. The 1998 race car is easy, but this, the 1997 race car which is better than '98 can be won after completing the Grand Valley 300Km endurance race.

However, to win it, you must first win the 80's Nissan Skyline race car from the last race of the 80's sports car cup. Then use the Skyline on the Apricot Hill 200Km race to win the Viper GTS-R race car, then use the Viper GTS-R on Grand Valley 300Km to win the R390.

It's the only way.

if you are talking about the 1998 version of nissan r390gt1 then I got it because I beat the gran turismo world league in gran turismo 2 there are four cars awarded radomly one is the silver r390 race car and the others are castrol mugen nsx, toyota gt one 1998, and calsonic skyline. hope that helped :)
