Thanks for posting this nice video.I am a fan of this song and this arangement, saw it first together with clips from "Princess Mononoke", fantastisk uploaded by RuinofDarkness (a shame she isn´t there anymore).
I think this song was from the middelage and its religiosity makes it even more beautyfull;) and through art christians, other monotheists, pagans and atheists or solipsists and whatsoever in between and above find an understanding level. :)

Incidentally modern Paganism and origninal Paganism have few similar points and the former has it's roots in the 1960's and has removed all the nastey pieces which caused much of the confliuct (such as and in no means limmitted to, skinning people alive for magic purposes, I seem to remember from my theology degree)
I'm Pagan, but I love Christmas. And she sings this so well, I like the tempo, its a little faster than my other favorite version that Mannheim Steamroller does.
I'm not sure how Christanity and what not is just another form of Paganism...?? That takes Paganism into a sort of Universalist view that I don't think really works...but okay...
@KeepMusicPagan Well... actually Paganism and Christianity couldn't be more different. The very definition of Paganism means that it cannot be Christianity. The word pagan was actually used by Christians to denote anyone who wasn't Christian.
@KeepMusicPagan Well, seeing how the Magisteri...er..the Church (too much His Dark Materials :P) absorbs other religious traditions and then demonises the original belief systems in order to convert and oppress indigenous peoples, it's no coincidence that there are similarities. To be fair, though, there are a lot of different versions of Christianity; and, Paganism is an effectively meaningless term, as the previous commenter noted.
@KeepMusicPagan From a historical perspective, the reason why Christianity and Paganism are so similar in practice is because the Catholic Church adopted many pagan (specifically Celtic pagan) customs in order to draw people to Christianity and to help them with the transition from the Old Religion to the New. That's why there are lot of Catholic saints who mirror Celtic gods; it's also why Christmas and Easter are celebrated at the times of year that they are. :)
Dei filio gaude gaude Emmanuel nascetur pro te,Israel=God,s son, joy! joy! Emmanuel ,is born for for you,Israel-That's Latin, and I certainly would NOT call joy over the birth of God's son Jesus for Israel PAGAN.Still,it is a beautiful Latin Hymn and "Laudate est" Heather Dale for her great voice and the great job she does with this song.Blessed Be.
I am not Christian or Pagan, yet I still find this absolutely beautiful. Thanks for uploading. :)

I think what KeepMusicPagan means is Christianity has Pagan roots. It's not a form of Paganism, but it does have connections.

It has the feel of Celtic music though. It's a beautiful song, though, and celebrates the wonders of God.

I know It's not quite Pagan, but I still think it sounds beautiful. Besides, Christianity and what not is really just another form of Paganism

@nothing980454 It's my opinion, I happen to find them remarkably similar in some tastes
I've always though of the two as a mirror that's been skewed...
