I have a question. Being a straight heterosexual man. I really have little contact with the LGBT-OMGWTFBBQ community.

I'd like to know if there are any conventions about lesbians and their sub-classifications' dating preferences.

That is, is it common for butch lesbians to date other butch lesbians, or do they generally, by your estimate prefer femme, lesbians?

I would imagine it must exist somewhere that butch lesbians hook up. I'm just not sure of the comparative frequency.

i'm a butch girl who prefers other butch girls. my girlfriend and i go shopping for clothes in the men's department together.

it's really a heteronormative assumption (not by you, even within the lesbian community) that a masculine girl should only date feminine girls, reinforcing the already existing sexism in society.

I'm an FTM and I bind every...fucking...day. So, MY recommendation is the t-kingdom binders but they are kind of expensive, but look SHARP. But if that's too out of the price range, I'd suggest underworks.

Question: Is there more to you than just the word butch, it seems as though you are more concern with fitting an ideal then just being a person. Image is very important to you. I am not mainstream by no means and thank God for it, but I do have a tiny issue with people who tell others how to act and dress base on some label, but like i said before I do understand the need to belong and fit in.

Anyways, I have binders from t-kingdom which I don't exactly need except for when I wear fitted shirts or tight tanks and the reason goes without saying. I can only suffer to wear a nike sports bra and even that sucks because they still look a little femme, which is why I end up using binders even though I'm blessed enough to not have a huge chest.
