  • very impolite of you just to trow your bike after your mate ! :D

  • @maxbennike

  • that was a massive crash probably didnt survive hope your ok dick sniff

  • @MadMetzCSS

Naja, Bauchweh vor Lachen hatten wir schon ;)

  • what a fuck =P¿?

  • your bike was so dirty =D

  • stop watching bioke crashes...everyone falls..you can do it georgerelax7302

  • At least the cameras not shaking lol .. that track looks really fun too

  • is it really that important to have a really good bike for over 2000€ or even more cause i have a fully with 130mm suspensors at the front

  • @Srbija141

It depends what you want do with your bike.

  • can you hold the camera still please?

  • It's a curious video, not exactly funny for who's watching on YT, but more of a curious one because of the 2nd bike went straight to the one that was already there !

    From a Portuguese downhiller...

  • what's so funny?

  • @gavra98

Not all people have the same sense of humor.

  • @DownhillRangers I have really big sence of humor, but pls tell me what is funny?

  • @gavra98

You have seen the video. For you it's not funny. But we could not stop laughing after we crashed almost at the same time and I "parked" my bike right on the one of my friend.

  • @gavra98 The way that he fell on that spot. Obviously that would be what is supposed to be the "funny" part ! , I mean the rest was just the normal downhill bike ride, THEN the bike slides and goes flying a few meters in front, It was the climax of the video, my son understood this!, surely you can, no matter of your sense of humor. lol

  • nice but...you drive as my little sister when shes folling me

  • @PianoSongsR

    Thanks!

  • From the video it seems like someone crashed into you from behind. If this was the case than it's entirely his fault since he should maintain a safe distance. You know like a 2 second rule.

  • @GreatestTop

No, nobody was behind me. I think that when I jumped down the second step I realised that my front wheel will land on somewhere where it will slide away, so I tried to go of the bike at the rear and move to the right. So I will fall more safely instead of when going over the bars. As it is very steep there it looks like the bike got speeded up.

  • wtf ?

  • Catapult!

  • are you from greece??

  • @talibanos1000

    No, Austria. Why?

  • @DownhillRangers no i just asked......i forgot NICE BIKES!!

  • @DownhillRangers wo ist denn diese geile strecke?

  • @OMGGP

In Leogang, Salzburg, Österreich. Das ist ein Teil auf der Weltcup-Strecke. Nächstes Jahr ist dort Ende Anfang September die Mountainbike WM.

  • What the bike?

  • @AstronomieXXL

    Intense 951

  • @DownhillRangers

    Danke ! Thanks !

  • The cool thing with DH is that when most would say "fucking shit that's the worst place you could ever ride a bike!", a downhiller just says "bet I can ride it faster than you"

  • haha cool vid

    did u fall on purpose?

  • @FedExItlol

Not really. I think when I reached the second step I saw that my front wheel will land too much on the right where it will slide to the center and I will go over the handlebar, which is not that good here, because it's quite steep. So I think I decided to go of the bike at the back and lean to the right side where I would not fall so far.

  • mate the simple problem was that you were going to slowwww

  • @RubiaLez

see the discussion with outlander180. I know it's easier if you go faster, but you have to have the skills to get the corner after the three steps. And that's really not that easy. Especially not at the end of they day after a thunderstorm. Btw: This is the hardest (most technical) part of the worldcup downhill track in Leogang.

  • Wow, you guys have these amazing bikes that cost probably 10x what my crappy little jump bike costs, yet you ride it as though it will break on a tiny bump. The faster you go the smoother it is, you know that, right? Cos you were going stupidly slowly. Idiots.

I tell you what, if you let me have a go on that bike, i'll show you how to ride a downhill track. Or i could just pwn your asses on my 17kg shitty hardtail with mechanical disks and suntour duro DJDs

  • @outlander180

    1. If you don't know: It's the hardest or at least one of the hardest parts of the Leogang Worlcup track. It was raining that day.

    2. I never said that I'm a good rider. I don't like this part. It's at the bottom, where I'm usually already exhausted. I ride it a couple of times every year. Usually not very safe, but I remember only two crashes the last years there.

    3. There are many talented you riders. But usually those who can ride do not need to be gobby.

  • @DownhillRangers Hey, I'm not normally somebody who is this gobby, but watching you go excruciatingly slowly on a bike that would take me something close to 15 years to save up for is like a red rag to a bull for me. If you can buy the bike, you should be able to ride it at speed. For all I have seen so far is rich stuck up snobs who struggle to get on their £5,000 bikes let alone ride them falling off at around 5-10mph then think they are better than everyone because of their bikes.

  • @outlander180

Have you ever been on a real downhill track? There are parts where you only go 10 km/h. There are (national) downhill races with average speeds of less than 30 km/h for most of the participants. You are right - often you are more safe going faster (later this year I rode this part faster with jumping), but as I said, this is a really challenging part and much steeper than it looks on the video. By the way: Search for "Bikepark Leogang - Downhill Track by downhill-rangers"

  • @DownhillRangers Hey, by that I don't specifically mean you, but yes, I rode the bull run at Chicksands bike park on a 17kg hardtail with rubbish forks and yes, I agree, there are some parts you should ride slowly, such as rock gardens. But riding that area of that track on a full suss d/h bike at that speed is just plain stupid. Your suspension, if set up correctly, should not move for low resonance bumps. So going slowly means it wont activate. Ride the bike, don't drag it.

  • @outlander180 Don't talk about a section you have never seen in real life. Of course there are many rider much faster than me. The problem is that you land on wet roots where you can't slow down after you have passed the first of three steps. And right after the 3. you have to be in the right position for the berm at the bottom.

This was at the end of the day, just after a thunderstorm. It's the bottom of the track. If I drove faster at this run I most propably would have crashed at the bottom.

  • @DownhillRangers Better to crash at the bottom then to stack at minimal speeds near the middle. And seriously, your bike will not work properly at that low a speed.

  • @outlander180

Better to crash with a 5% chance with low speed, than with 90% at high speed. I already saw so many people crashing here. With low speed, with high speed, on different lines... I was already tired after a couple of runs. I could not go faster at this run. I do not know where you have this nonsense that a bike works better when you go faster. It's a matter of setup. Some sections of tracks are really easier if you go faster, but you have to have the skill and confidence to do that!

  • @DownhillRangers Nonsense? Ask any PROFESSIONAL rider whether suspension is more active at low or high speeds, and they will say high. Not only that, but things such as four bar linkage and pro-pedal are designed to reduce low resonance compressions - better known as pedaling. As a side effect of this, low speed bumps will not activate bike suspension. And you say you had to hold the brakes on - so you could go faster without effort. Not just that, it would be like 8% chance over a 5%.

  • Comment removed

  • @DownhillRangers Nonsense? You have no idea how your bike works do you. Pro-pedal and four bar linkage reduce low resonance shock compression, which leads to lower low speed bump absorption. And since you were braking, lowering the amount you were braking would make it a decent speed. And it would be more like a 5-8% chance if you actually are any good at riding.

  • @outlander180

Even if you go fast on this section (and you are no Worldcup Pro) you are relatively slow where the damping is not really important. The rear rebound should not be to fast. And most important is, that the fork does not go through the travel, so (low speed) compression shouldn't be to low. Many pro rider have changed their setup riding a higher front just for this section.

  • @outlander180

Later that year I rode it faster - not riding the steps, but jumping them. It felt easier. But it was dry and I was fitter that day. The time when I filmed the video in the wet I would have crashed if I went faster.

Come to Leogang and see for yourself.

  • @DownhillRangers I would happily come to Leogang for myself, and would stack it many times on my semi-slick tires, but unfortunately you seem to be missing the point of this... I cant afford it, and those of you who can abuse that. You stack it slowly, you don't even try hard. I can't understand why - If i had even so much as a chance to ride that course on that bike I would throw my full weight into it. And having seen your other courses, I understand this was a bad day for you. It still annoys

  • @DownhillRangers And yeah, have to say, your other stacks were more like it! That faceplant into a tree.... owch..... that would go through my little skid lid and destroy my whole head.

  • WTF?!? xD amazing

  • If he only bought Go Pro he wouldnt have crashed

  • @jaden2091

    Intense 951

  • Quite a hard course. From the looks of things, you weren't actually going quickly enough. That looks like one of the courses that you physically have to "commit" to; if you don't go quick enough over some of the big stuff then it becomes harder to keep the bike moving and under control. Although tbh I doubt that I could do that course myself... XD

  • bike sex

  • wow... nice bike!!

  • where abouts is your camera?

  • @crazyedd6

It's mounted on the straps of my leatt brace neck brace. So in front of my chest.

  • haha i saw ur feet flying up.lol

  • pretty hardcore that.was you injured?i dont i'd be up for that or my hard tail come to think of it.class video

  • @kktubey

    No injuries.

  • LEOGANG IS THE SH!T

  • amazing!!good job!

  • haha xD dude ur bike got launched !! :D checkout my crash vid :P

  • Epic

  • Seems dangerous, must get abit of a rush? ;)

  • You werent even going that fast and the bike went flying. lol

  • @maxnacho188

You're right. I wasn't fast. But it's quite steep there.

  • @DownhillRangers a lot of props to you. that takes a lot of guts to do man!!

  • @blu4able

the stomach ... because we couldn't stop laughing ;)

    no injuries at all.

  • wie teuer waren eure bikes?

  • @mcschuhkarton

so ca. zwischen 4000 und 6000.

  • Lol his bike lands on top of his mates bike, double wipeout on the same section

  • Im Scary O.O

  • go faster !

  • he really hates his bike

  • ah my eyes are hurt after watching this!! lol

  • dang man, you got more balls then me.

  • wheres the funny part?

  • @Kearnmeister

Maybe you should look for glasses ... or humor ;)

  • @DownhillRangers maybe you should look for a better combeback before replying

  • @Kearnmeister

I see, we have a different sense of humor. But maybe you will cry if your relatively new 5000 Euro downhill bikes crash into each other

  • @DownhillRangers mate i have a great sense of humour** but this just isnt funny at all

  • @Kearnmeister i think the funny bit is that he sent his bike sliding into his friend who also wiped out...

  • @Kearnmeister The funny part was when he crashed Hahahahaha that's what he wants us to Laugh about :D

  • @Kearnmeister the bike leorn fly ;)

  • Nice POV, it looks like a videogame :D

  • I always dreamed of flying, all I understood where he associated it with the bike.

  • frigen awesome

  • Did the bike fly because it's steep and gravity pulled it? It's hard to tell if it was that or your hands slipped and you legs kicked the bike out.

  • @Varaxis

It surely flew away so fast because of the steep. I think I saw or felt that my front tire landed somewhere very aslant after riding over the step. So I tried to go from the bike at the back to avoid flying over the bar.

  • >.<

  • his mate has fallen as well

  • Vorallem wie das teil wegfliegt :D

  • schmeiß weg den scheiß

  • looks like a hard trail that u should fly dowhn

  • @pyro21601

It's probably the hardest section of the worldcup track in Leogang. I always feared it a bit - also because it's at the bottom where I'm already done. But it was my first crash on this section and meanwhile I ride it a bit faster by jumping the steps. Maybe for 2011 this wont be part of the world cup track or it will be rebuilt.

  • oops

  • I always seem to crash when i go the slowest

  • @DownhillRangers

    danke!

  • u bike is clean

  • @DownhillRangers oh..okay..:D

  • xD where you taked the video? xDDD asdf ROFL lol OMG

  • @M2OxFREESTYLE4E

It's in Leogang, Austria. The track where a Worldcup Downhill took place this year.

  • hahahahahaahahh cool!!!

  • geniale kameraposition

  • @TheFerkinator

    GoPro HD mit selbstgebastelter Brusthalterung

  • ja hast recht, is ja nur a 951!

    echt geiles veideo respekt!

  • @JuliKingBilng Ist doch eh nur a 951er ;)

  • awesome :D
