  • @skylorz i know dude, check out my new video "Led Zeppelin - The Ocean - Cover"

  • is the amplifier good for epiphone (les paul) guitars?

  • @guitarmaniactm no, not really, i own both epiphone and this amp.

They are not a good match. IMO

  • @guitarmaniactm

    Guitar: Epiphone - Les paul

    Amp: Fender Frontman

    Processing, please wait....

  • Is that thing on a shelf?..... I think it weights around 50 lbs

  • @electropentatonic it weights around 22 kg and believe me it can take it. it can probably hold around 100 kg :)

  • the amp icludes the footswicht??

  • @iggvf Thanks!! oh and very good playin!!

  • When I put the drive into 9, im listening to a noise like IIIIIII. Why?

  • you purchase the cable for footstwich to the part already came with the amplifier?

  • you must buy the cable from the party footswicht?

  • great amp, tune please¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Please, tune your guitar!!! hehehe

  • should i get the peavey valveking, the vox valvetronix 100 watt, the fender frontman 212r, vypyr tube or fender super champ XD

  • @TheSuicidalSquirrels i actuelly just bought a peavy... its great in the music store we tested next to a roland full tube amp and the peavy won by miles... so the only one i really know is a peavy (tough not the model you mentioned) i bought the peavy bandit 112. well the one i really can recomend (and i actuely doesnt know the others) is peavy. because i know its a great brand for the money :)

  • @iggvf Does the bandit sound better than this? also, is it a lot less loud?

  • @TheSchoolsux345 well. in my opinion the bandit is much better then the fender amp. i would think the bandit could get just as loud as fender but it has a great option wich controls how uch power it sould use or something like that so you can choose to have it on 100% 50% and 25% where 100% ofcourse is the loudest

  • @iggvf Thanks a lot. I just dont know what to get because it seems like the pandit has much better clean tone and thats all im looking for, but on musicians friend it said the bandit is 85 watts and the 212 is 100, and i need to gig with it.

  • @TheSchoolsux345 hmm. i think you can get the bandit with different watt sizes. like you can get the fender with 65 w and 15 wats and some other sizes im pretty sure my bandit is a 100 w... and speaking of clean tones it depends on wich songs you play and stuff like that but the clean tone i think is better on the frontman so if you just want a good clen tone then the frontman is the best but for overdrive its the bandit

  • @iggvf i used a 65W Bandit if you have a LOUD drummer go for the 212r best amp i've used.

  • @TheSuicidalSquirrels don't get the vox!!!! i had it and i returned it the next day!! valveking is only good for metal the frontman is grate if u have a ds peddle vypyr suck too and the super champ is only good for clean stuff soo i would go the frontman!!

  • @TheSuicidalSquirrels the valvetronix series are very powerful amps

  • gordoo gil borra este videdoo

  • Haha indeed, you should tune your guitar before recording something man :p

nice amp though, thinking of buying fm212r too :)

  • wow.... you know it helps to learn how to play guitar before you post something on here

  • @HeavyMetal551

Totally unnecessary comment, douchebag. As if utube is only for pro players. Oops, just realized you're only 16 years old and you haven't posted any videos of yourself playing guitar and the majority of your video comments are stupid criticism. Change your diapers and come back when you've got some pubes...

  • @ElevenBravo wow get off my ass...you know you haven't uploaded you fair share of guitar videos either

  • Drive=Gain in this amplifier?

  • Should i get this amp or a GDEC 30?

  • TUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thx k bi

  • @AJLLAMA it is in tune...

  • how can I connect headphone at this amplifier?

  • @NecroJohnie im not sure you can : / you should i cant remember i sold this amp

  • @iggvf yes you can my necro friend

  • @NecroJohnie You cant, NegroJohnie, you cant.

  • @NecroJohnie Use a 1/4 inch adapter plug and put that onto the power amp in jack. That will mute the speakers. Then, get a 1/4 inch stereo to mono adapter plug, and hook that to your fave set of headphones. Hook headphones to preamp out. If you use effects in the amp's loop, hook the headphones after the last effect, or use the multifx processor's headphone jack. In that case, you still need to mute the speakers as described above.

  • yo you screwd up while playing sweet child O mine dont try completly bending your middle finger to reach the High E during that intro :D im thinking of buying this amp is it good fro gigging (as in loud so i can hear my self play)

  • yes it is loud enough for gigs i myself have played with it in a gig for 88 peeps :) and it was only turned up to 5 or sumthing >:D

  • Nice tones, I like it.

  • man if your playin blues u gotta get some scales in there soem gdorians look that up G DORIAN SCALES, PENTATONIC SCALES AND THE E BLUES SCALE i would asume u play blues but if i am wrong still look them up

  • Hi ,-

Actuelly i'm not playing Blues but i can the Pentatonic and the Blues scale :) im going to look up thoose you wrote :)

    Thx For Watching :)

  • Keep on playing. I can see that you enjoy playing and thats most impotant. You can play i can hear it. Great sound.

  • ya thx i am alot better and got a new guitar :) (the old broke :( )

  • There are some grim people on the internet aren't there? I like the tone of this amp actually, especially with that reverb. And you're not *that* much out of tune.

  • ya thx i like the tone too :)

  • thx thats why i am here.

    -iggvf-

  • Pretty good playing for 8 months, actually.

  • @nmcclure79 thx :)

  • rofl, sweet child o mine was terrible :D

  • ya i know :D i am alot better at it now :)

  • FM 65 DSP vs frontman 212r

    anyone give me some help?

  • 8 months or not, you still should have learned to tune your guitar!

  • omg it is in tune! maybe the g is a little off but thats all god danmit i explain it over and over again i even putted a little textbox up in the video...

  • i didnt hear sultans of swing on this at all lol but eight months! damn!

  • thx... i think : /

  • haha well i havent listened to that song in a long time, anyways, nice job man

  • thx im glad you liked even if its not as good as it could be... but im soon gonna post a new video with this amp and im allot better today ;)

  • sweet child o mine needs a little practice but overall good job!

  • on a Fender® 231-7800-000 FM-412 4x12" 100 Watt 4-Ohm Cabinet

would you be able to plug in a vox in it as its head?

  • 8 Months of playing? Good job buddy!

  • thx for the great comment :)

  • You have been playing guitar for 8 months?

sounds good keep up the good work practice

    practice practice.

  • i buy my frontman one jear ago, and it sounds great and works with all my pedals: boss metall zone, korg etc....lots of effects.....!!!

  • pls answer

some people say it doesn´t work well with destortion pedals

    is that true

  • im so sorry to you all but i cant help cause i doesnt have any distortion pedals

    :(

  • I own a Fender FM212R and also a bunch of distortion pedals, and let me assure you it works great. I'm using (most of the time) a Blackstar HT DistX and the combination of the two has a great great tone. This amp has a shitty disto sound (disto channel), but the clean channel sounds just like a Fender tube amp (more or less) and it is really well balanced when it comes to high and mid frequencies.

  • I would assume it works fine with distortion pedals. Every effect I've run through the clean channel of this amp has come through really great. I don't see why overdrive/distortion/fuzz should be any different. Although I have used an amp modding program through it, and that distortion rocked.

  • Why wouldn't it? I have one and it's fucking amazing even on clean. I mean those 12's crank.

  • Ok so im thinking of trading up some stuff to get this amp, but what I need to know is does it get loud enough for gigs, and how would it handle an overdrive pedal like a bd-2. Can someone help me because it would be REALLY helpful.

  • ok i need to know about what kind of gigs and how big the place is but it sure lout enough to gig medium sized places :) but I cant help you with the pedals i doesnt have any :(

  • It's a good amp for gigs, between 100 and 500 ppl. It's only 100W but sounds really really LOUD lol.

  • It sound cool with full reverb.

Nice amp, I'm thinking about getting one.

    Recommended?

  • yea i can recommend it :) but if you are looking for that special slash or ac dc sound then i would use a little more money :D im gonna save up for the Marshall Stack MG100HFX + MG412B it sounds great (and cheap :))

  • getting this amplifier tomorrow I'm so happy :)

  • well then post a video when you get it it is sure gonna be better then this :D

  • I've posted it on my other page

    which is

    blackappleband

    check it out

  • I heard using pedals on this amp makes it sound terrible? I really wanted to buy it but if thats true i wont.. So what do you think?

  • i donnu... im sorry but i dont have any pedals so i cant help ya but i never heard it should sound terrible with pedals but you should go to your nearest guitar center(or where you buy guitars and take you'r guitar with you and try the amp with some pedals :)

  • its ok bro, thanks anyways:]

  • np :)

  • they work with the amp you have too keep it low though other wise it'll clip

  • And also, Is this an amp that compresses your sound like a digital pedal does? Or no?

  • hmm. I don't think it will. it hasn't for me. but I used the pedal with the clean channel. check out my video on blackappleband for more info on the amp

  • Alright man thanks for all the help

  • no problem dude

  • Hi ive been offered this amp for £150 and was wondering if its loud enough to gig with and if i use a distortion pedal will the sound become a much more heavier without feedback?

  • i can tell you one thing for sure... ITS LOUD AS HELL!!! :) i have my volume on 1,5 in this vid but i dont know about the pedals i dont have any but it depends on what pedal you take and what kind of genre you are playing :D

  • a bit out of tune! does this amp sound good with pedals?

  • i cant tell i have no effects pedals :(

  • this amp is good for play with a fuzz pedal?? stoner psych rock etc??

  • Not bad for playing 8 months and tons of reverb is fine...it's a Fender amp.....reverb rules!

  • ya reverb is awesome i cant get enough reverb :D

  • and cut the reverb! slash never set a spring reverb to 10 on sweet child o' mine, and he ALWAYS uses his neck pickup for it!!

  • dude, you have the money to buy a fender amp with a freakin' 100 watts, but you seem not to have the money to buy a tuner:S

  • hey believe it or not this was the cheapest amp i could get i bought it from germany its cost almost nothing the lower species allways doesnt check what things cost...

  • one more thing...

WHEN THE FUCK DID I SAY I DIDNT AFFORD A TUNER YOU DONKEY!!!

  • the amp is good for play songs of fslipknot?

  • no not really after my opinion but you can get a lot of distortion on it but i dont really know about slipknot the overdrive channel is kinda muddy :(

  • 1. Tune properly

    2. Cut down the reverb to about 5/6

    3. It's a good amp for clean tone (I have this amp) but the lead tone doesn't sound as great. Mess around with the treble bass and mid controls until you get something good, I have mine on: treble-4/5, mid-3, bass-7.

  • all i have to say is if u are going to do like a review on the amp play songs or licks that fit the sound of the amp...i mean if u are showing how good the amp is try not to play things that dont sound as good on it like Sweet Child...even though Gnr are my fav band i would rather listen to other songs than listen to sweet child using that tone and amp.. fairly good job though

  • you are right but i was just playing and i didnt listened really much on what fitted to the amp you know its something you think about after:D

BTW im selling this amp it doesnt fit my stile (it has nothing to do with that you said) im being confirmed next year so ill buy a marshall and gibson sg standard you have any ideas for an amp who shall be able to playsweet child o mine and acdc???

  • if u are going for that particular sound i would definately suggest marshall..... maybe a JCM 800 or if thats a bit too vintage than try the MG100DFX... I would prefer the JCM, but the MG100DFX is definately a fine amp

  • den første sang du spiller hvad hedder den

  • den allerførste fandt jeg bare på nr.2 er dire straits: Sultans of swing

  • its not too outta tune practice a bit more and get a chronomatic tuner for 50 bucks

  • ya ok :D

are chronomatic tuners better then a digital one ?

  • chromatic tuners are digital, but they can tune ANY pitch instead of just the six pitches of a normally tuned guitar

  • yaknow i have no idea lol but i think so

  • the guitar was surely not in tune, just like my english, but nevertheless, pretty good sound quality

  • You need to practice more

I got some ages playing the guitar, but you need to pratice more, learn some alternative picking and sweep picking, that should help you a lot.

With some exercices ,and praticing the songs you learned its the one of the best ways to improve, keep that in mind xP

  • thx dude ill will try to get better :D well i can allways be better at the guitar :)

  • Please tune , and that sounded nothing like sultans of swing

  • lol sorry i doesent really listen to sultans of swing and dire straits it was just to show the clean channel i know i gotta practise more and stuff but it was only a test of the amp..

  • BTW the guitar was in tune and i played sultans of swing as it sounds it wasnt perfect timing and and the quality of the camera isnt very good so...
