@TheSuicidalSquirrels i actuelly just bought a peavy... its great in the music store we tested next to a roland full tube amp and the peavy won by miles... so the only one i really know is a peavy (tough not the model you mentioned) i bought the peavy bandit 112. well the one i really can recomend (and i actuely doesnt know the others) is peavy. because i know its a great brand for the money :)
@TheSchoolsux345 well. in my opinion the bandit is much better then the fender amp. i would think the bandit could get just as loud as fender but it has a great option wich controls how uch power it sould use or something like that so you can choose to have it on 100% 50% and 25% where 100% ofcourse is the loudest
@iggvf Thanks a lot. I just dont know what to get because it seems like the pandit has much better clean tone and thats all im looking for, but on musicians friend it said the bandit is 85 watts and the 212 is 100, and i need to gig with it.
@TheSchoolsux345 hmm. i think you can get the bandit with different watt sizes. like you can get the fender with 65 w and 15 wats and some other sizes im pretty sure my bandit is a 100 w... and speaking of clean tones it depends on wich songs you play and stuff like that but the clean tone i think is better on the frontman so if you just want a good clen tone then the frontman is the best but for overdrive its the bandit
@TheSuicidalSquirrels don't get the vox!!!! i had it and i returned it the next day!! valveking is only good for metal the frontman is grate if u have a ds peddle vypyr suck too and the super champ is only good for clean stuff soo i would go the frontman!!
Totally unnecessary comment, douchebag. As if utube is only for pro players. Oops, just realized you're only 16 years old and you haven't posted any videos of yourself playing guitar and the majority of your video comments are stupid criticism. Change your diapers and come back when you've got some pubes...
@NecroJohnie Use a 1/4 inch adapter plug and put that onto the power amp in jack. That will mute the speakers. Then, get a 1/4 inch stereo to mono adapter plug, and hook that to your fave set of headphones. Hook headphones to preamp out. If you use effects in the amp's loop, hook the headphones after the last effect, or use the multifx processor's headphone jack. In that case, you still need to mute the speakers as described above.
yo you screwd up while playing sweet child O mine dont try completly bending your middle finger to reach the High E during that intro :D im thinking of buying this amp is it good fro gigging (as in loud so i can hear my self play)
man if your playin blues u gotta get some scales in there soem gdorians look that up G DORIAN SCALES, PENTATONIC SCALES AND THE E BLUES SCALE i would asume u play blues but if i am wrong still look them up
There are some grim people on the internet aren't there? I like the tone of this amp actually, especially with that reverb. And you're not *that* much out of tune.
omg it is in tune! maybe the g is a little off but thats all god danmit i explain it over and over again i even putted a little textbox up in the video...
I own a Fender FM212R and also a bunch of distortion pedals, and let me assure you it works great. I'm using (most of the time) a Blackstar HT DistX and the combination of the two has a great great tone. This amp has a shitty disto sound (disto channel), but the clean channel sounds just like a Fender tube amp (more or less) and it is really well balanced when it comes to high and mid frequencies.
I would assume it works fine with distortion pedals. Every effect I've run through the clean channel of this amp has come through really great. I don't see why overdrive/distortion/fuzz should be any different. Although I have used an amp modding program through it, and that distortion rocked.
Ok so im thinking of trading up some stuff to get this amp, but what I need to know is does it get loud enough for gigs, and how would it handle an overdrive pedal like a bd-2. Can someone help me because it would be REALLY helpful.
ok i need to know about what kind of gigs and how big the place is but it sure lout enough to gig medium sized places :) but I cant help you with the pedals i doesnt have any :(
yea i can recommend it :) but if you are looking for that special slash or ac dc sound then i would use a little more money :D im gonna save up for the Marshall Stack MG100HFX + MG412B it sounds great (and cheap :))
i donnu... im sorry but i dont have any pedals so i cant help ya but i never heard it should sound terrible with pedals but you should go to your nearest guitar center(or where you buy guitars and take you'r guitar with you and try the amp with some pedals :)
hmm. I don't think it will. it hasn't for me. but I used the pedal with the clean channel. check out my video on blackappleband for more info on the amp
Hi ive been offered this amp for £150 and was wondering if its loud enough to gig with and if i use a distortion pedal will the sound become a much more heavier without feedback?
i can tell you one thing for sure... ITS LOUD AS HELL!!! :) i have my volume on 1,5 in this vid but i dont know about the pedals i dont have any but it depends on what pedal you take and what kind of genre you are playing :D
hey believe it or not this was the cheapest amp i could get i bought it from germany its cost almost nothing the lower species allways doesnt check what things cost...
no not really after my opinion but you can get a lot of distortion on it but i dont really know about slipknot the overdrive channel is kinda muddy :(
3. It's a good amp for clean tone (I have this amp) but the lead tone doesn't sound as great. Mess around with the treble bass and mid controls until you get something good, I have mine on: treble-4/5, mid-3, bass-7.
all i have to say is if u are going to do like a review on the amp play songs or licks that fit the sound of the amp...i mean if u are showing how good the amp is try not to play things that dont sound as good on it like Sweet Child...even though Gnr are my fav band i would rather listen to other songs than listen to sweet child using that tone and amp.. fairly good job though
you are right but i was just playing and i didnt listened really much on what fitted to the amp you know its something you think about after:D
BTW im selling this amp it doesnt fit my stile (it has nothing to do with that you said) im being confirmed next year so ill buy a marshall and gibson sg standard you have any ideas for an amp who shall be able to playsweet child o mine and acdc???

1. Tune properly
2. Cut down the reverb to about 5/6
3. It's a good amp for clean tone (I have this amp) but the lead tone doesn't sound as great. Mess around with the treble bass and mid controls until you get something good, I have mine on: treble-4/5, mid-3, bass-7.

chromatic tuners are digital, but they can tune ANY pitch instead of just the six pitches of a normally tuned guitar

hiian123 2 years ago
the guitar was surely not in tune, just like my english, but nevertheless, pretty good sound quality
wooki321 2 years ago
You need to practice more
I got some ages playing the guitar, but you need to pratice more, learn some alternative picking and sweep picking, that should help you a lot.
With some exercices ,and praticing the songs you learned its the one of the best ways to improve, keep that in mind xP
