what a waste of money) i understand you. i have nikon p500 with lens adaptors, i also spent a lot of money on shit like that. but dslr is really so much worth it )))
lmfao...i can just picture this kid walking around with that giant ass teliscope lens and sb-27 thinking hes a badass on his little ass camera my 10 year old sister got for christmas
its stupid to put all those fisheyes on it the lens is too small and the adapter creates so much vig that it barely serves the real purpose of the fisheye
This is cool to see all the neat things you can buy for a camera this small, and this would be very practical for short vacations or something where space is very limited, however a DSLR is definitely the way to go if you're serious into photography.
why you put so much effort on such a lousy camera, so much better to buy a real DSLR, i can tell i have a nikon D300 and you will never be closed to a DSLR with a compact camera,if you are trying to imitation a DSLR you just make a foul of your self...
Your obviously stupid and do not know a thing about Cameras. If your buying a P5000 over a D90 then your a disgrace to the Photography world. The D90 is better than the P5000 by a tenth fold.
lol photography world (aside getting a d90) read stupid..
i got both of them already recently and excuse me but i prefer having this than a dslr for just that compact easy carry me around camera rather than having a huge 300mm 2.8 lens strap in my neck looking like doucebag which plus normal people dont carry expensive equipment to everywhere they go unless working
Hello everyone, I am new into cameras, and I was wondering what are all those lenses for? What is the soul purpose of each lenses?? Can't we just stick with the cam without using those?
You can use it on its own for normal pictures. The add ons are for.. wide angle (landscapes and other wide view pictures), telephoto (capturing things from far away), fisheye (distorted pictures). If your more serious into photography don't do this, but a digital Slr and accesorize that
Interesting. Well looks like fun. I use 18-200mm Nikkor on my Nikon d40x and its the only lens you need if you are not a pro. Does long distance shots, portraits etc...
All this equipment is I guess more expensive than having an entry level DSLR.
Hmm... I also wonder which camera will allow you, to compose on the LCD screen, and which camera will get dust on the sensor when you change lenses.... P5000 pwns
lots of dslr's have live view. and no matter which way you look at it this is still a point and shoot. so it's slower and has lower quality images. and keeping your sensor clean realy isint that hard.
you really are stupid, i have a nikon d2x with 70-200 2.8, 17-55 2.8, 28-70mm, 105 macro vr, 10.5 fisheye and it costed me like 8000$ and owns your p5000
i bought equipment at ebay and different stores. Nikon P5000 = 300 EURO Each of Nikon lenses about = 300 EURO Nikon 6x Rayfact = 400 EURO Nikon adaptor = 25 EURO Camera adaptor = 180 EURO Optolyth 80 HD with 30 WW lens = 1600 EURO Optolyth 70 WW lens = 350 EURO Optolyth 20-60x zoom lens = 400 EURO Nikon flash (old one) = 250 EURO Total price for this collection about 4000 EURO or about 5500 USD

The equipment that you have on this table costs almost more than one full frame camera with 18-200 VR
bogoewski 2 years ago
how the hell would it cost more than a FULLFRAME Nikon
the nikon FX bodies will be able to buy atleast 4 of these....
i'd say its only worth the price of the 18-200VR if not just a bit more

do you really need a DSLR?
as a WORKING photographer. i find it offensive when people buy DSLR's whom obviously DO NOT need it.
regardless of our skill
it makes it hard for us to EARN money.

I've been a Nikonian for a long time and frankly your setup is admirable.
I'm hopefully going to get the p5100 as my new pocket backup.
That SB-27 is interesting but I do prefer the iTTL of the SB-400, also smaller.
Thanks for posting this!

you don't get dust on your camera unless you leave the lens off all the time. I will never take the lens of my D3 for more than 1 minute.

besides for the "owner" dude... your d2x weight like 10 times more the p5000! And i can make very usefull pictures at 10.000mm (with crop factor)!!!
