what a complete sham. Within this framework there is absolutely no way to deal with androgen insensitivity syndrome. This is what you get when attempt to live your life according to some crazy collection of documents.
8 minutes talk to say 'NO'. What a long-winded homophobe! The fact that he compares homosexuals with polygamists shows how stupidly ignorant he is. Thankfully this mentality is declining fast.
It is easy to stand there in a society that respect your heterosexual sexuality and tell homosexuals to simply suppress their sexuality for life in order to please the majority.
This is a war against ALL SIN not just homosexuality. All sin is a rebellion against God. However we shouldn't shun people who are homosexuals but show them Christ. Christ sat down with sinners but he did not once APPROVE and SUPPORT THEIR SIN. Instead "go and sin no more". Stand for whats right and if people hate the truth, their quarrel is not with you but with God himself. After all Jesus didn't nail himself to the cross. If my words here are wrong then please forgive me, God guide you all!
It sounded like Ravi kinda said.. you can be ____ (Place sin here) and just not act on it but call yourself a christian? Does that sound... right? like can I be a murderer at heart but.. just not act on it and claim to be a christian? O.o Of course we all struggle with our sins but its the striving for Christ and faith in him that cause us to break down and plead for forgiveness when we do. Not to just say "I am renouncing who I REALLY AM because of Christ" Is that what Ravi basically said?
@lightning745 The Christian walk is really just the process of letting the Holy Spirit within us regenerate our minds and actions to conform to God's will as opposed to what we "really" are, which is depraved sinners; 'tis our lot until Judgment Day, no? According to Jesus, hatred = murder, so I think we all qualify there, "at heart" (Matthew 5:21-22). All Christians are sinners, led by the Spirit to "not act on" our sinful desires. The Pauline epistles in general center around this idea.
Homosexuality like adultery and all other sins are SINS. Each just doing it once earns you a nice spot in hell if you don't have Christ. The problem is if you start supporting the sin and saying God is ok with it is just wrong. "I love to lie but God should love me for who I am" Wrong. God gives you a new heart a new mind he regenerates you! Believe in Jesus Christ and you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you :)
He reaffirmed to me the importance of choosing the right faith community to be a part of. If I believe homosexuality is not a sin, I should choose a church where that is not an issue.
@Maggiecoog You may have missed the part in the video about sexuality being sacred and homosexuality being a transgression of that sacredness. A church whose leadership (and Christian members) doesn't view homosexuality as a sin probably isn't much in the way of a Biblically Christian "church" at all.
I know many Christians who believe sexuality is a sacred gift of God and believe homosexuality is not a sin. Sadly, its when homosexuality is reduced to only an "idea," where a lot of the discrimination and gay bashing begins. Ravi is a very eloquent preacher and no doubt pretty smart to point out the difference between an idea and a person. But it doesn't answer the fact that the Church has mistreated the gay community over the years.
@Maggiecoog Like the way the catholic church mistreats gays? The place is run by them and are only rebuked officially when they have been found to have molested dozens.
@Strefanasha disposition is not equivalent to lust. You just misunderstood him. Disposition would be the tendency to want to have sex with a women, which practically all men inherently have. If they happen to have that tendency towards men, they do not have to practice, or entertain lustful thoughts.
"the human body reacts to the sight entertained by the imagination"
what gnostic nonsense is this? we look with lust as we do not really love our wives. he is trying to blame our bodies, to claim a real love opposed by an evil body.
this is gnostic heresy.
i don't care who you think this man is.
he thinks the temptation comes from the body to wiggle out of the lust of his own nature.
and what do we as a carnal church do about sin? we either deny that it is sin (accept homosexuality in church) or we mercilessly bully the sinners in question.
NONE of us are spiritual enough to love the sinner while hating the sin.
zacharias has nicely avoided the question. is he spiritual enough top love the sinner and hate the sin
@Strefanasha I love my alcoholic uncle, with all of my heart. i hate the alcoholism which plagues his mind and body. It is not difficult to love the sinner and hate the sin. Immaturity in believers has made this seem impossible, it is not.
@Strefanasha "We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose power in our lives..." That was written by Paul in Romans. Therefore, we are not "sinners", we would actually be acting out of character by sinning. Of course we all sin, but that is not who we are when we are born again, and exactly why we do not make a lifestyle practice of sin. If someone makes a voluntary submission to a life of anger, then i high doubt that he is born again
Some decent points. I would say that a person who is Christian has had his sins moved as far as the east is from the west. Christ is constantly interceding for us. We still commit sin, but when God comes in judgement and the finger is about to come down on us, Christ will say 'No, I have paid his price'. I don't think it will suprise you for me to tell you that becoming Christian does not make you automatically perfect. We still live in a fallen world in fallen bodies.
But I would also say about Christians is that they have the Holy Spirit living in them, as Jesus tells us himself that he has left behind his helper before he ascended. The Holy Spirit convicts us and helps us live correctly. We feel bad when we get angry and lose our temper at atheists. We feel bad when we break God's law. We recognise when we sin and we come back to the cross and remember that Jesus paid it all for us. It's a conscious on a whole new level.
Amazing. Comparing adulterous temptations to homosexual ones... the two are not remotely comparable! In one instance you have a man who has the option of a monogamous, lifelong sexual partnership and in the other you have the option of no sexual partnership at all, for life. That, or involve someone of the opposite sex in the hypocrisy, lie, and sexual desert of a sham marriage. Do you really think that's God's plan, Ravi?
@Kaddywompous and in the end all sides end up crying "oh, boo hoo hoo, everyone's always picking on me" when all along that was the least important of matters & just a deceptive distraction from the real truth. This is something that plays out in the super-consciousness,not in this physical realm. We are all really just energy condensed, matter doesn't exist but what we perceive as reality & our "self" is nothing more than the collective imagination of ourselves & of reality. Bill Hicks style :)
My friend, we all have faults. We all have sin. We fall way short of God's perfect law and His perfect standards. The things we humans love is to do things that make us feel good. We sin because it makes us feel good and it makes us feel we are in control. But as Christians we have to strive to put away what displeases God, what doesn't feature in God's perfect law. Some things that we do in respose to salvation may seem horrible for us because we love sin.
So I would say that there are many things that you yourself would agree we should stop doing because it is not what God wants. Many of these things are hard to stop doing because we in our sinful nature LOVE to sin. Sin is sin. No one is saying homosexuality is any worse sin than any others, and each individual has their own struggles. Christians feel convicted to stop doing them.
Also, being single shouldn't be seen as a negative. Paul tells us singleness is a gift.
@GoldenbanjoDJ If you can't see the heartlessness in sentencing someone to a life without sexual partnership you are truly brainwashed. This is just one example of how religion compels good people to twist their hearts and minds to justify cruelty. And don't get me started on Paul. Most, if not all of us, have sexual hang ups to some degree, but Paul's are codified and set up as a gold standard.
Mate just reading how you are approaching this dialogue is showing me how closed minded you are. You call me brainwashed? The kingdom could still be here tomorrow for all anyone knows. You do not know when the world will end, not even the son knows the day the father will send Him. How arrogant can you be to assume that you are in a better position than Paul to talk about this? Better to be steeled and ready and live as if the end was tomorrow than be unprepared
You missed the whole point on sin. Just because you love it and it is hard to not do it does not mean it is right to do it! I could list numerous sins that I could commit that would make my human heart happy, but I don't indulge in them. We all have to take up our cross. The Christian life is not easy and whoever told you it was supposed to be did not listen to Jesus.
@GoldenbanjoDJ I would be very interested in seeing that list because I do what makes my human heart happy and don't consider it to be 'sin'. I don't do violence or steal because to do so would not make my human heart happy. Hurting people in any way makes me feel bad. Lying makes me feel bad. But, my joy! My joy is not a sin because a book tells me it is. I trust my joy. I'm sorry if you can't.
@GoldenbanjoDJ Not arrogance mate, a statement of fact. For obvious reasons I know much more about the state of the world over the past 1900 years than Paul does. Paul along with other christians of his day earnestly believed the world would end in their lifetimes. It is not arrogance to make the simple observation that they were wrong. If they were so wrong about the timing of the event, why should I assume they were right about the event itself?
@GoldenbanjoDJ Are you sure? Have you tried it? If having sex with loads of women brings you joy you should do it. If it doesn't, then you shouldn't. That's my 2 cents. I am not a christian.
@GoldenbanjoDJ Paul thought and preached to his converts 'the world is gonna end and Jesus is coming back any day now'. Read Thess. and Cor. if you doubt this. For him it was no big deal to tell people not to have sex because the kingdom could be here tomorrow, for all he knew. In case you didn't notice, the world did not end and is not likely to end anytime soon. Paul's sexual guidelines, then, grow more anachronistic with each passing century.
John 15:18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." When you stand up for Jesus and His word, people will be offended and will hate what they hear.
You're insane, you're just creating social division with your illusionist ideas which don't reflect the reality. Keep your religious c**p to yourself instead of posting your propaganda on YouTube.
@yowanvista I think your response is far too harsh. Given what most people will say on the topic, Ravi's response is very eloquent and genuine. He mentioned nothing of the usual "fire and brimstone" that usually comes with homosexuality. His response was a real-world answer and he gave sound reasons behind it. If you feel that it is just "religious crap" go watch some other channel. There's plenty of Bible-bashing on YouTube as well.
This looks like obsession, something must be done for peace on earth, the freedom from religion. (not freedom OF religion but FROM religion).
This is getting plain stupid, we're all the same and this is pure discrimination. And of course religion is the 'thing' to blame. That's just his opinion and such don't constitute the reality.
Where's the discrimination in this video? Post the exact moment where you see it happening.
Other than that, I really don't see what you're ranting on about. No one is twisting your arm to become a Christian. If you want to have homosexual sex and do what you want, go right ahead. Ravi is saying that if one wants to follow Christ, this entails keeping the Bible's commandments which means not having gay intercourse.
This is overrated, religion & associated supernatural beings have no place in modern society, people are wise enough to reason properly. We don't need brainwashing statements from 'holy' books written by humans for humans unless we're willing to live like cavemen.
All I'm seeing in your comment is ignorance. Modern society =/= atheistic state. Grow up.
And you didn't answer my question: you accused Dr Zacharias of discrimination; where did he discriminate. Post the minute and seconds for all of us to see!
So if opinions don't contribute to reality, why should we take your opinion that this is stupid, or discrimination?
I find many of your objections to be logically incoherent. Religion is not "brainwashing" as many atheists would believe. It is a different paradigm for viewing the world and its issues. If you feel that religion is brainwashing people, that is your opinion, and as you've stated above, opinions can't contribute to reality.
@yowanvista Who is discriminating now? Freedom of speech... Are you for it or against it? Christians have as much right to use Youtube as anyone else. I hope you actually watched the video with an open mind, because Ravi presents the case clearly and intelligently. You can say it is "only opinion", but that claim itself is also nothing more than your own opinion. How can you claim Christianity doesn't reflect reality? In your atheistic, "modern society", how do you discern reality from fantasy?
@yowanvista the mood of the present does not affect doctrine that has been around for nearly 2000 years. homosexuality was not accepted then, it is not accepted now. The same as alcoholism, or idolatry, or entertaining lustful thoughts. do not let the culture affect your perception of sin.
@hoagy918 He doesn't even remember our sins? So much for being all-knowing!
And you'll forgive me if when you tell me you don't dislike me, right after telling me you think I deserve to be tortured for eternity for something outside of my control, that I take than with a huge grain of salt.
Why does God need to punish *anyone* to atone for sins? He's omnipotent, he can just do it. How does it help to punish someone else? Why do I need to accept that punishment of someone else for the salvation to apply to me?
God makes the rules. If I go to hell, it could only be because he set things up that way. Claiming anything else is just a dodge of that obvious fact.
He *has* to send me to heaven or hell? Why couldn't I sleep forever? Why not send me somewhere else?
@juancarlos772652 For me, the core principle of morality is that the wellbeing of others matters just as much as my own wellbeing. I decide what I think is moral by reflecting on my own experiences, how my actions affect others, and communicating with others about how my actions affect them, and how they feel about them.
We're never going to eliminate all moral disagreement, but human progress shows that in general people agree about most things. Legal disputes are solved democractically.
@etherform66 "what is worse frab" — dude, you confused me with a Christian on another video, don't confuse me with hoagy918 of all people! I'm an atheist and completely agree with you!
Your views on justice make no sense. "God has to punish sin to be just." But the Christian teaching is precisely the opposite of this: if you accept Jesus and ask for forgiveness, he won't punish you.
Justice requires that punishment *fit* the crime. You think your ex-fiancee believed a lie, a lie her family and culture probably all believe, and think *justice* is served by infinite torture? That's not justice, that's sick! No one deserves torture for what they believe, period.
@frabjous79 Every sin ever committed was indeed punished and paid for by Jesus on the cross. God has forgiven every person of every sin committed because of Jesus' atonement on the cross. Not only are we completely forgiven, but God doesn't even remember our sins. Now that is good news. It's God's grace. Our part is to receive this forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. God doesn't send people to hell. We are eternal spirits; therefore, we have eternal destinies, heaven or hell.
@hoagy918 Yes, my comments are judgments, but they are not *baseless*.
I never claimed you thought homosexuals were necessarily going to hell, but you are defending the Christian teachings that homosexuality is an abomination, and that's enough to make me dislike you.
@frabjous79 Well, I don't dislike you. When people say hateful things to me or irreverent things about God. The Lord Jesus says to me, "You know I love him or her, and I died for them, I want them to spend eternity with us in heaven, They don't know how much I love them, like you do. So, tell them." Jesus defends you, even against me, one of His own.
@hoagy918 If that were true, then the claim "God is good" would just mean "God approves of himself" -- how is that a basis for worship?
If God were to condone pedophilia, genocide and slavery (some of which he does in the Bible), that makes it OK? *Nonsense*. Goodness and badness is independent of God.
I am a good person who stands up for what I think is moral and what I believe. If that's not enough justification for your God, then he is not good. But more likely, he just doesn't exist.
So, how then do you distinguish between good and evil? between moral and immoral? what if other people's sense of morality is vastly different than yours? who determines the moral standard?
@hoagy918 And to suggest that it is "moral" to torture someone *forever* for what they believe or don't believe is just plain ridiculous. How can you look yourself in the mirror for saying such a horrendous thing? Personally, I could never be happy in "heaven" if I knew that good moral people were being tortured for their beliefs only.
I find your moral views outrageous. But I don't think you deserve torture even for a minute. Yet you think that a million years will not be enough for me!
@frabjous79 It's not God that needs to justify Himself to you, how are you going to justify yourself before a holy God who is the source of everything that is good? Evil wouldn't exist if you didn't have something good to compare it to. God is the source of all that is good to determine what is evil. I see a loving God [Jesus] who poured himself out for me. He took my punishment so I wouldn't have to. I appreciate how much He loved me for doing that for me. He did it for you too.
@frabjous79 hell is not "torture" forever. It is describes as outer darkness. There are also degrees of hell. Most people that are not Christians will be in outer darkness. Granted, that is what existence looks like apart from God, who is love and is light
@hoagy918 Explain how I've been hypocritical please.
I said you defend homophobia because you in essence insinuated I was a bigot for being intolerant towards Zacharias, who is a homophobic ass. You defended a homophobe.
It's nonsense to say that we choose where we go. I do not choose to go to hell. You think (incorrectly of course) that I am going there because I don't believe. I don't choose what I believe. I believe what I think is true, which depends on what evidence I have.
@frabjous79 Are your comments judgmental? I commented no one goes to hell for homosexuality. The only reason someone will go to hell is because they reject God provision [Jesus Christ] to not go there. God is love, but He is also just. Being just is what makes Him God. God has to punish sin to be just. Because He loved us so much, He sent His Son, who voluntarily took all our punishment on the Cross. The Cross happened & it matters. I see a God who loves me so much, why don't you?
@hoagy918 what is worse frab... practicing homosexuality, or mercylessly torturing someone - with no redemptive purpose in mind - for trillions and trillions of endless ages in blistering flames, offering no parole or hope? which is worse?
I never said truth was relative, and I don't believe it is.
I called you judgmental because you're on this page defending homophobia, defending the insanely immoral concept of Hell, claiming that we atheists are going there, and now claiming that muslims are going there. Yes, that makes you a judgmental prick, and you're going to have to get used to the fact that people, even intelligent people (thank you very much), are going to think less of you for these things. You deserve it.
@frabjous79 I guess your fine with being a judgmental hypocrite. Show me one comment where I defend homophobia. Hell is not immoral. God has made the way [Jesus] for everyone to go to heaven and have a real genuine relationship with Him. However, if you choose to reject God, then there has to be a place for you away from His presence. God breathed His eternal spirit into you to give you life, so it's really a matter of where you'll spend eternity, heaven or hell, the choice is yours.
@freest2dogg At the time my heart was in it. Now my heart violently rejects someone who would torture people forever for simply not believing something for which there is no straightforward evidence, who condones slavery, tells me people to hate their children, to obey the barbaric laws in the Old Testament, etc.
The real question is: where is YOUR heart? Why the discrimination against gays and lesbians who deserve love like everyone else?
@frabjous79 Truth is not relative. You're rude comment only reflects on your lack of intelligence. And you're quite the hypocrite calling me judgmental. I only mentioned my ex being a Muslim so you would know I thoroughly investigated Islam, I had to. Islam's greatest blasphemy is to say God had a Son and it denies Jesus died on the cross. Those 2 lies are responsible for 1.5 billion Muslims walking away from their Savior, and heading to perdition, if they don't find the Truth.
@hoagy918 Dictionaries make mistakes. As do people like you.
I was raised Christian, went to Christian school, read the entire Bible. I know enough to make judgments.
Maybe, just maybe, when someone accuses you of bigotry, you should actually THINK about whether there's any truth to it, rather than spout unthinking dogma back at them. I know you believe that nonsense. What I don't know is why.
Do you fear the Islamic Hell? Do you think good muslims fear it?
@frabjous79 Why do I believe? Because it's true. Why do I tell others? Because I don't want them to miss out on heaven. Knowing the Truth is a blessing because I know the love of God, and I know where I'm going to spend eternity, I have no fear of death; however, knowing the truth is also a burden, because I have to deal with people who are lost and spiritually blind. They can't see beyond their 5 senses. I was engaged to a Muslim woman. I was expected to convert. Islam is anti-Christ.
@frabjous79 You were a christian by name. Learn with your mind. YOu had emotional stages that made you feel good about your faith. And went to a christian church. But where was your heart? Was it in jesus? It isn't where you at it matters where your heart is. YOur heart should be in jesus not the church. It is god that has his heart in church not us. Many people think us christian are not open minded but we are. But were also open hearted.
Zacharias has a bold delivery, but every carefully placed step in his little speech is crafted to avoid the real question: how is it wrong to be gay? This arrogant little man says absolutely nothing to show that gayness is incompatible with life in Christ. He insolently makes the point that sexuality is sacred, as if THAT is supposed to show that homosexuality is wrong. Woe be to false prophets like Zacharias who would close the gates of the kingdom to others.
@roxykattx I believe he did a great job in explaining how sacred sexuality is defined by God. However you wish to define sexuality is up to you. No one would be able to prove you wrong as long as you hold a relative view on the topic and not the view of God.
@hoagy18 (re: @bonnie43uk) The idea of an all-good being sending people to infinite torture for finite crimes is a logical impossibility. We don't fear hell.
And if you DO believe in hell, and think it's acceptable that God would send people there for thought-crimes like atheism or victimless "crimes" like homosexuality, then not only is your God the most immoral being imaginary, but you are complicit with his immorality. I'd rather burn in hell, personally, than support such an a-hole God.
@frabjous79 PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEOS: THIS MUST BE SAID - HOMOSEXUALS TEENS - WHAT GOD DID FOR ME. God Almighty loves Homosexuals, but he loves them on his terms! The Lord Jesus shed His blood for them!! God Bless you my friend!
@frabjous79 You DO fear hell or you wouldn't have responded. Only Christians don't fear hell because we know our salvation and destiny is secure in Jesus Christ. It is not good people that get to go to heaven and avoid hell, it's only forgiven people who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord that get to go. It is offered to you, to everyone, you don't want to miss out on heaven. It's not Got that needs to justify Himself to you. How are you going to justify yourself to Him?
@hoagy If that were an acceptable definition of bigot, then anyone who was utterly intolerant of pedophilia, genocide or slavery would be a bigot. I'd be proud to be that kind of bigot.
But I gave you a much more reasonable definition of bigot already, and that applies to you, not me I'm afraid.
Your asinine religious creed does not give you the right to discriminate baselessly against perfectly moral human beings. It just proves your relgion wrong.
@frabjous79 That definition came out of the dictionary. I was just pointing out your hypocrisy of calling Christians bigots, when you are being bigoted towards Christians. Everything in our physical world on earth was created by what is unseen in the Spirit. Spirit is spirit, and flesh is flesh. You can't see beyond your 5 senses. You have a huge misconception about Christians, but more importantly, Jesus Christ.
So does Ravi sincerely believe all homosexuals are going to burn in hell??. He gave a very long winded answer. What kind of god does he believe in that would do that.?
@bonnie43uk No. He believes that people may have the disposition towards homosexuality but need not act on it. Rather, they should follow Christ by denying the desire of the flesh and pursueing the spirit. He very clear. Did you even watch the video? Or are you posting based on assumptions?
@Here2ownU Yes, i watched the whole video. What if people (gay or not) dont want to follow Christ, is it your belief I will burn in hell?. Incidentally , I believe Ravi is highly mistaken if he thinks gay people will reject their own feelings for same sex, for Christ. It's very easy for him to say this, but not so easy to do. If you love someone, to extinguish that love is incredibly hard if not impossible. It goes against your human instinct.
@bonnie43uk I think he is mistaken too. The bible is clear that all have sinned and all fall short of the glory of God. None of us are worthy to stand before God. We cannot "work" our way into heaven or "earn" heaven by our own good deeds. God sent Jesus to show us how to live and give evidence that His word is true. That through the resurrection of Christ, we can overcome death (not death of flesh, but of spirit). We are saved from this death by faith in Jesus.
@bonnie43uk In short, if you do not want to follow Christ, then yes..you will burn in hell. We are of two parts, flesh and spirit. Christ offers spiritual salvation. Flesh is our limited body in the present life and in biblical terms represents our earthly desires. Flesh and spirit are in conflict within each of us. Flesh leads us to ungodly desires. Such as addictions, lust, anger. It could be homosexuality as well as it not a given desire but rather a pursued one.
@Here2ownU Let me give you this scenario, a violent killer rapes, tortures and murders a young 15 year old girl. This girl has always been kind to people and shown lots of love to others throughout her young life, but she is skeptical about Christ and rejects him. Now, years later, the killer in prison, on his deathbed genuinely repents and accepts christ. According to your beliefs, regarding the sadistic rapist killer, and the little girl, who goes to heavan and who goes to hell?
@bonnie43uk Given your scenario, the killer goes to heaven and the girl does go to hell. But here's another question, would a "sadistic" child rapist really repent? There is a concept called the "reprobate mind". Even in the bible it says God cannot work with an indifferent heart (someone without one) as it takes a sincere heart to repent. I think you would be hard pressed to find such a case. Also, within Christianity there is another concept, "age of innocence." Cont.
@Here2ownU Cont. Jesus, "unless you are like one these (referring to children), then you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven". I think 15 is old enough to reject Christ, so yes. She would go to hell. If she were 5, 10, or had downsyndrome, I would think otherwise. Also, Jesus warned the Pharisee's (whom were good and followed the law) that they were not in favor with God. He also told the theif on the cross he would dine in heaven. Here's a question. What if you die tonight?
@Here2ownU What if i died tonight, ... I'd sleep forever, thats a pretty nice thought for me. I was nothing for billions of years prior to me being born, and it didn't inconvienience me in the slightest, and the same applies after I've gone. ( although, according to your beliefs i will be tortured forever for merely not accepting your god) Nice religion you've got there my friend.
@bonnie43uk First you'd be surprised that you felt more alive than ever, your mind would be coherent, then as you moved downward in the tunnel, you would smell sulfur, you would see demons & hear demons from the tunnel walls, your mind would race, untold terror would grip as you realize the Christians you disregarded & mocked told you the truth, Hell is real. You'll desperately cry out to God, but it's too late. THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID HELL IS TO TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR.
@bonnie43uk PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEOS: THIS MUST BE SAID - HOMOSEXUALS TEENS - WHAT GOD DID FOR ME. God Almighty loves Homosexuals, but he loves them on his terms! The Lord Jesus shed His blood for them!! God Bless you my friend!
@bonnie43uk The Scriptures and testimonies of people who went there, but were able to return to warn us. There's plenty of testimonies on my channel. The Cross matters. Jesus died so you could live. What do you think Jesus is "saving' from?
@hoagy918 Yeah, but how do you know those scriptures are true?. Are you telling me to accept Jesus Christ as my saviour, or burn in eternal hell? .. thats my choice? Really?.. Well, even given that ultimatum, I'm not going to accept Christ as my saviour. I would be a hypocrite to accept something that, truly, in my heart, I am skeptical of. If Jesus could look into my heart, he'd know I have genuine doubts about him. Truly, I do not believe.
@bonnie43uk I'm saying Jesus loves you personally, He suffered & died for you on the Cross, He rose again after putting away all sin, including every sin you have committed or will commit. Jesus is the love and grace of God. Accept the most loving gift ever offered by just believing in Jesus, become a daughter of God, have a loving relationship with God, call Him Abba or Daddy, join the family of God, know when your time is up on earth, you'll spend eternity with us in heaven.
@bonnie43uk It's not a matter of spending eternity with me, it's a matter of missing out on heaven and spending eternity in hell. No one goes to hell for homosexuality. There is only 1 unforgivable sin that will cause you to end up in hell. The unforgivable sin is to repeatedly & consistently reject Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. God, the Judge, pardons you, but you reject His provision [Jesus] for a pardon. You then bear the responsibility for your punishment.
@hoagy918 I've told you, I reject Jesus because I would be a hypocrite if I put my trust in something or someone that I dont see any evidence for. I am a skeptical person, you are saying I will be punished for simply having doubt.?
This planet has been around for billions of years, I can see evidence for that, I have lots of faith in mankind, but not in supernatural claims. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Where is it?.
@bonnie43uk If you sincerely looked for the evidence you would find it. It's all over my channel; in Bible prophecy; miracles of healing & resurrection; but you don't have the courage to look, because then you would be accountable, which you are anyways. Jesus reconciled us to God, He proclaimed His name; it wasn't Yahweh or Jehovah, it was "Father." Through Jesus you could have a close loving relationship with God. But, right now, God is not your Father, He is only your Creator.
@hoagy918 Wrong again Hoagy, I've now looked at your home channel twice and watched a few video's. I saw absolutely no evidence whatsoever, only people who've been deluded into thinking they've seen evidence of god.
Let me ask you one simple question Hoagy, .. how old, in your opinion, is this planet that we all live on?
@bonnie43uk What did you watch? The Dr Pandit playlist is a 3 day seminar held in Australia, a doctor by trade, he spent 20 years studying the major religions. Why not leverage his life's work and see his objective findings. The Hell & back playlist is testimonies of people who died and experienced hell, you be the judge if they are sincere or not. Duplantis & McCormack (my favorite) playlists are face to face encounters w/Jesus. You haven't even scratched the surface what's on my ch.
@hoagy918 I'm sure you believe those testimonies, I dont. Someone who says they've actually been to hell are clearly deluded.. I judged them not to be sincere.. In my humble opinion.
I scratched the surface of your channel Hoagy, .. it's not good mate. ..In my humble opinion.
@bonnie43uk Anyone who doesn't agree with your subjective opinion is deluded? I think you can tell when someone is sincere when they give a testimony. Are you sure it isn't people who don't believe in God;heaven; and hell that are deluded? I don't like like talking about hell, but if I don't tell the truth about it, then I would be negligent. Please watch the Ian McCormack playlist on my ch. He goes night diving & is stung by Box jellyfish. It's heartwarming, funny, and sincere.
@bonnie43uk Those scriptures are real. And their alot of evidence to back it up. Of course theirs are some myths saying the bible is wrong and full of contradictions. But those arguments can be debunked just like the zeitgeist movie. The only proof that god exist is a testimony but to get their you must have faith. Arguing doesn't really help. Now ask me 3 questions at a time and i would gladly answer from what i know through my spirit. Im no where near perfect but i give my best.

@JasminGermany, "committed to christ, committed to one homosexual partner, goes to a church that openly welcomes gays"? Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13, and most importantly "Romans 1:24-27" brings it all home in answer to your question. Either we follow Christ ALL THE WAY and accept what 'He' said 100%, or satan is followed and we suffer the consequences for doing so. The 'choice' is up to 'you'. God/Jesus love you but won't force you to love them in return.
I believe the answer to the question is much simpler: Do not judge lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. (NASB) Matthew 7:1-2 Why are we Christians so quick to forget Jesus's words, or his example. There is only one judge.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Awww :( All you poor heathens just can't grasp that homosexuality is an abomination to God, and so you resort to ad hominem, spew your hatred for Christianity (to which you know nothing about), and feel comfortable with your positions to such a point as to hurl insults. Well, we will see who has the last laugh... I'm smelling bacon!...or is that burnt flesh?
@Wunji1 - dude, either you are being a hateful jerk because that is what you really are, or you are an atheist who is trying to smear Christianity by coming off as such a hateful jerk - either way, you are wrong. yes, homosexuality is a sin. and all unrepented sin will be judged. but we should never be happy about this. Jesus said to love and pray for everyone, including our enemies. your attitude here (if you are serious) is anti-Christ and you yourself will be judged for your hate.
@verticalhold Awesome! Another modern Christian who doesn't read their bible... Great! That's just what we need. Amazing! And here I thought we were just supposed to sing "kumbayah". Feel free to read (even just a cursory glance will do) the book of Revelation. We rejoice as God condemns the wicked because it VINDICATES HIS GLORY, AND BECAUSE HE JUDGMENTS ARE RIGHTEOUS AND TRUE ya nut job. Perhaps the Psalms would help oh ignorant one - read Ps. 58:10-11 for starters...
@Wunji1 -- I do read the bible. i am presently teaching two bible studies. When Jesus was on the cross, He cried out to His Father for mercy for those who had just crucified Him. Another time, Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they had missed their opportunity. With the adulterous woman, Jesus didn't condemn her, but challenged the self-righteous crowd. When His disciples wanted to pray for God to rain down fire on the samaritan city, He rebuked them...
and i def do believe in hell. i know that God will judge all wickedness, which of course, ultimately, is a glorious thing. but this side of the grave, i am doing what Jesus called us all to do -- to reach out to a lost world with love and truth. i've shared the gospel in foreign nations, in prisons, to the homeless, to innercity kids, at colleges -- like paul, i want to be all things to all men so that some may be saved. and you can't do that while mocking and taunting them.
"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
@Wunji1 - Luke 9:54-56 "And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?" But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them."
@verticalhold So, in conclusion then, it is YOU who are anti-Christ. I will rejoice with my Lord as he judges ALL ungodliness. You can stand there crying for them, and perhaps praying that the God who is judging them be more merciful than His character emanates. Perhaps you are more merciful than God? Maybe you wouldn't send anyone to hell and bring judgement (to your shame). Chide all you want - but it will be on deaf ears here "dude".
@MrLittletomdj Definition of a bigot: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. Appears you're a bigot towards Christians.
I don't think he is expressing anti-homosexuality, because he does say that in order to be christian you must believe and love God. He reconises the trouble of being able to practise with other christians who have a line drawn of what is right and wrong. If you want to be in their club, there are rules, like any religion and any society. It doesn't mean however that God's love won't reach you if your homosexual. I'm not sure about christianity, I don't think I belong within their rules.
@DazedSpy2 Because I believe that our main generic purpose in life is to love and be loved in return, regardless of sexuality. And I can't see recognise that as a sin that should be forgiven.
@CettoTheCesco The only thing my point was used to discredit in InChrist1007's contention that there is a different "context" between discussing what a person believes and discussing what they think God believes.
When a group is bigotted, and you point that out, you are not yourself being a bigot. Bigotry is
*baseless* discrimination. My criticism of Christianity on this point is not baseless.
@InChrist1007 Neuroscientists have determined that when people are asked to consider what God believes, they in fact activate the part of the brain where their own beliefs are stored. I can provide the citations if need be. And yes, IF your God actually said those things, then your God is a bigot. I don't believe in your God, of course.
@frabjous79 Why would it be any different for neuroscientists when checking the brain of an believer speaking on what they think about God's moral law? How is this point supposed to discredit anything, sure some people are wrong about what they think God's law is on a matter and some people are right ... soo? What does showing the neurology of it have to do with anything :/
The hypocrisy is in your attitude because you are a bigot to Christians on this matter.
Don't these people realize that all speeches like this do for rational people is make them hate Christianity for being bigotted? This guy is such a douchebag!
@frabjous79 I've heard this comment made by so many in regards to Christian belief on this subject and I must say, its not only wrong, but also, a judgement made out of context. By definition a bigot is one who is strongly partial to group. Therefore, how is a Christian a bigot for expressing what GOD has to say about a condition and NOT their OWN opinion? Are you not then meaning God is the bigot? Because its his desire for man being expressed then. Something to consider!
@InChrist1007 YOU believe the anti-homosexuality notions are God's opinions, and so they are YOUR opinions. My friend, when we sign a contract, we're saying we agree with the contract. We take responsibility for what we're agreeing to. Can't you also take the same responsibility for the contents of the book that you believe to be holy?
@frabjous79 Definition of a bigot: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. Appears you're a bigot towards Christians.

Not to just say "I am renouncing who I REALLY AM because of Christ" Is that what Ravi basically said?
lightning745 3 days ago
@lightning745 The Christian walk is really just the process of letting the Holy Spirit within us regenerate our minds and actions to conform to God's will as opposed to what we "really" are, which is depraved sinners; 'tis our lot until Judgment Day, no? According to Jesus, hatred = murder, so I think we all qualify there, "at heart" (Matthew 5:21-22). All Christians are sinners, led by the Spirit to "not act on" our sinful desires. The Pauline epistles in general center around this idea.
natemup 22 hours ago

lightning745 7 hours ago
Homosexuality like adultery and all other sins are SINS. Each just doing it once earns you a nice spot in hell if you don't have Christ. The problem is if you start supporting the sin and saying God is ok with it is just wrong. "I love to lie but God should love me for who I am" Wrong. God gives you a new heart a new mind he regenerates you! Believe in Jesus Christ and you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you :)

Maggiecoog 1 week ago
@Maggiecoog You may have missed the part in the video about sexuality being sacred and homosexuality being a transgression of that sacredness. A church whose leadership (and Christian members) doesn't view homosexuality as a sin probably isn't much in the way of a Biblically Christian "church" at all.
natemup 22 hours ago
I know many Christians who believe sexuality is a sacred gift of God and believe homosexuality is not a sin. Sadly, its when homosexuality is reduced to only an "idea," where a lot of the discrimination and gay bashing begins. Ravi is a very eloquent preacher and no doubt pretty smart to point out the difference between an idea and a person. But it doesn't answer the fact that the Church has mistreated the gay community over the years.

dispositional homosexuality is STILL SIN
just as dispositionial adultery IS STILL SIN. we sin when we look with lust BEFORE WE ACT ON IT. (or has Zach ignored the sermon on the mount)
his logic comes down to legalist repression
IF IT IS TOUGH it is will of the flesh, for His yoke is easy. this too is something this allegedly great man of god ignored.
there is no power here, only clever words,
All useless
Strefanasha 1 week ago
@Strefanasha disposition is not equivalent to lust. You just misunderstood him. Disposition would be the tendency to want to have sex with a women, which practically all men inherently have. If they happen to have that tendency towards men, they do not have to practice, or entertain lustful thoughts.
Paulschultz44 1 week ago
"the human body reacts to the sight entertained by the imagination"
what gnostic nonsense is this? we look with lust as we do not really love our wives. he is trying to blame our bodies, to claim a real love opposed by an evil body.
this is gnostic heresy.
i don't care who you think this man is.
he thinks the temptation comes from the body to wiggle out of the lust of his own nature.

is it possible for a man or woman to live a sincere christian life AS A SINNER. .
THAT is the question. why do we single out homosexual sin when we are all sinners. sex sin is no worse than any other.
is it possible to live a sincere life when you for example lose your temper at atheists or pagans or heretics?
think about it
Strefanasha 1 week ago
@Strefanasha "We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose power in our lives..." That was written by Paul in Romans. Therefore, we are not "sinners", we would actually be acting out of character by sinning. Of course we all sin, but that is not who we are when we are born again, and exactly why we do not make a lifestyle practice of sin. If someone makes a voluntary submission to a life of anger, then i high doubt that he is born again
Paulschultz44 1 week ago
@Strefanasha
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ

Kaddywompous 1 week ago
@Kaddywompous and in the end all sides end up crying "oh, boo hoo hoo, everyone's always picking on me" when all along that was the least important of matters & just a deceptive distraction from the real truth. This is something that plays out in the super-consciousness,not in this physical realm. We are all really just energy condensed, matter doesn't exist but what we perceive as reality & our "self" is nothing more than the collective imagination of ourselves & of reality. Bill Hicks style :)
FaceOfGod2 1 week ago
@Kaddywompous
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
So I would say that there are many things that you yourself would agree we should stop doing because it is not what God wants. Many of these things are hard to stop doing because we in our sinful nature LOVE to sin. Sin is sin. No one is saying homosexuality is any worse sin than any others, and each individual has their own struggles. Christians feel convicted to stop doing them.
Also, being single shouldn't be seen as a negative. Paul tells us singleness is a gift.
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ If you can't see the heartlessness in sentencing someone to a life without sexual partnership you are truly brainwashed. This is just one example of how religion compels good people to twist their hearts and minds to justify cruelty. And don't get me started on Paul. Most, if not all of us, have sexual hang ups to some degree, but Paul's are codified and set up as a gold standard.
Kaddywompous 1 week ago
@Kaddywompous
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ I would be very interested in seeing that list because I do what makes my human heart happy and don't consider it to be 'sin'. I don't do violence or steal because to do so would not make my human heart happy. Hurting people in any way makes me feel bad. Lying makes me feel bad. But, my joy! My joy is not a sin because a book tells me it is. I trust my joy. I'm sorry if you can't.
Kaddywompous 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ Not arrogance mate, a statement of fact. For obvious reasons I know much more about the state of the world over the past 1900 years than Paul does. Paul along with other christians of his day earnestly believed the world would end in their lifetimes. It is not arrogance to make the simple observation that they were wrong. If they were so wrong about the timing of the event, why should I assume they were right about the event itself?
Kaddywompous 1 week ago
@Kaddywompous
Well, for a start, having sex with lots of women would make me happy.
Can I ask, are you Christian?
GoldenbanjoDJ 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ Are you sure? Have you tried it? If having sex with loads of women brings you joy you should do it. If it doesn't, then you shouldn't. That's my 2 cents. I am not a christian.
Kaddywompous 1 week ago
@GoldenbanjoDJ Paul thought and preached to his converts 'the world is gonna end and Jesus is coming back any day now'. Read Thess. and Cor. if you doubt this. For him it was no big deal to tell people not to have sex because the kingdom could be here tomorrow, for all he knew. In case you didn't notice, the world did not end and is not likely to end anytime soon. Paul's sexual guidelines, then, grow more anachronistic with each passing century.

AgApE010 2 weeks ago
@yowanvista
So if opinions don't contribute to reality, why should we take your opinion that this is stupid, or discrimination?
I find many of your objections to be logically incoherent. Religion is not "brainwashing" as many atheists would believe. It is a different paradigm for viewing the world and its issues. If you feel that religion is brainwashing people, that is your opinion, and as you've stated above, opinions can't contribute to reality.
markofashes 1 week ago
@yowanvista Who is discriminating now? Freedom of speech... Are you for it or against it? Christians have as much right to use Youtube as anyone else. I hope you actually watched the video with an open mind, because Ravi presents the case clearly and intelligently. You can say it is "only opinion", but that claim itself is also nothing more than your own opinion. How can you claim Christianity doesn't reflect reality? In your atheistic, "modern society", how do you discern reality from fantasy?
BJHawkIx7 2 weeks ago
@yowanvista the mood of the present does not affect doctrine that has been around for nearly 2000 years. homosexuality was not accepted then, it is not accepted now. The same as alcoholism, or idolatry, or entertaining lustful thoughts. do not let the culture affect your perception of sin.

No one deserves torture for what they believe, period.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 Every sin ever committed was indeed punished and paid for by Jesus on the cross. God has forgiven every person of every sin committed because of Jesus' atonement on the cross. Not only are we completely forgiven, but God doesn't even remember our sins. Now that is good news. It's God's grace. Our part is to receive this forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. God doesn't send people to hell. We are eternal spirits; therefore, we have eternal destinies, heaven or hell.

But more likely, he just doesn't exist.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79
So, how then do you distinguish between good and evil? between moral and immoral? what if other people's sense of morality is vastly different than yours? who determines the moral standard?
juancarlos772652 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 It's not true that good cannot exist without evil. If everyone on Earth took pills to alleviate all pain, pleasure could still exist.
You never deserved punishment, and even if you did, there was no reason for God to torture his son to forgive your sins. He could have just done it.
But really? God determines what's good and evil? So good is just what God approves of and evil is what God disapproves of? Think about for a minute.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 And to suggest that it is "moral" to torture someone *forever* for what they believe or don't believe is just plain ridiculous. How can you look yourself in the mirror for saying such a horrendous thing? Personally, I could never be happy in "heaven" if I knew that good moral people were being tortured for their beliefs only.
I find your moral views outrageous. But I don't think you deserve torture even for a minute. Yet you think that a million years will not be enough for me!
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 It's not God that needs to justify Himself to you, how are you going to justify yourself before a holy God who is the source of everything that is good? Evil wouldn't exist if you didn't have something good to compare it to. God is the source of all that is good to determine what is evil. I see a loving God [Jesus] who poured himself out for me. He took my punishment so I wouldn't have to. I appreciate how much He loved me for doing that for me. He did it for you too.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 hell is not "torture" forever. It is describes as outer darkness. There are also degrees of hell. Most people that are not Christians will be in outer darkness. Granted, that is what existence looks like apart from God, who is love and is light
Paulschultz44 1 week ago
@hoagy918 Explain how I've been hypocritical please.
I said you defend homophobia because you in essence insinuated I was a bigot for being intolerant towards Zacharias, who is a homophobic ass. You defended a homophobe.
It's nonsense to say that we choose where we go. I do not choose to go to hell. You think (incorrectly of course) that I am going there because I don't believe. I don't choose what I believe. I believe what I think is true, which depends on what evidence I have.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 Are your comments judgmental? I commented no one goes to hell for homosexuality. The only reason someone will go to hell is because they reject God provision [Jesus Christ] to not go there. God is love, but He is also just. Being just is what makes Him God. God has to punish sin to be just. Because He loved us so much, He sent His Son, who voluntarily took all our punishment on the Cross. The Cross happened & it matters. I see a God who loves me so much, why don't you?
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 what is worse frab... practicing homosexuality, or mercylessly torturing someone - with no redemptive purpose in mind - for trillions and trillions of endless ages in blistering flames, offering no parole or hope? which is worse?
etherform66 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918
You deserve it.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 I guess your fine with being a judgmental hypocrite. Show me one comment where I defend homophobia. Hell is not immoral. God has made the way [Jesus] for everyone to go to heaven and have a real genuine relationship with Him. However, if you choose to reject God, then there has to be a place for you away from His presence. God breathed His eternal spirit into you to give you life, so it's really a matter of where you'll spend eternity, heaven or hell, the choice is yours.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@freest2dogg At the time my heart was in it. Now my heart violently rejects someone who would torture people forever for simply not believing something for which there is no straightforward evidence, who condones slavery, tells me people to hate their children, to obey the barbaric laws in the Old Testament, etc.
The real question is: where is YOUR heart? Why the discrimination against gays and lesbians who deserve love like everyone else?
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@hoagy Belief is thinking something is true. Saying "Why do I believe? Because it's true." is not an answer. Why do you think it is true?
Anyway, you didn't answer my questions.
I'm glad the woman you were engaged to got away from such a judgmental narrow-minded prick.
frabjous79 2 weeks ago
@frabjous79 Truth is not relative. You're rude comment only reflects on your lack of intelligence. And you're quite the hypocrite calling me judgmental. I only mentioned my ex being a Muslim so you would know I thoroughly investigated Islam, I had to. Islam's greatest blasphemy is to say God had a Son and it denies Jesus died on the cross. Those 2 lies are responsible for 1.5 billion Muslims walking away from their Savior, and heading to perdition, if they don't find the Truth.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 Dictionaries make mistakes. As do people like you.
I was raised Christian, went to Christian school, read the entire Bible. I know enough to make judgments.
Maybe, just maybe, when someone accuses you of bigotry, you should actually THINK about whether there's any truth to it, rather than spout unthinking dogma back at them. I know you believe that nonsense. What I don't know is why.
Do you fear the Islamic Hell? Do you think good muslims fear it?
frabjous79 3 weeks ago
@frabjous79 Why do I believe? Because it's true. Why do I tell others? Because I don't want them to miss out on heaven. Knowing the Truth is a blessing because I know the love of God, and I know where I'm going to spend eternity, I have no fear of death; however, knowing the truth is also a burden, because I have to deal with people who are lost and spiritually blind. They can't see beyond their 5 senses. I was engaged to a Muslim woman. I was expected to convert. Islam is anti-Christ.

What kind of god does he believe in that would do that.?
bonnie43uk 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk No. He believes that people may have the disposition towards homosexuality but need not act on it. Rather, they should follow Christ by denying the desire of the flesh and pursueing the spirit. He very clear. Did you even watch the video? Or are you posting based on assumptions?
Here2ownU 3 weeks ago
@Here2ownU Yes, i watched the whole video. What if people (gay or not) dont want to follow Christ, is it your belief I will burn in hell?. Incidentally , I believe Ravi is highly mistaken if he thinks gay people will reject their own feelings for same sex, for Christ. It's very easy for him to say this, but not so easy to do. If you love someone, to extinguish that love is incredibly hard if not impossible. It goes against your human instinct.
bonnie43uk 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk I think he is mistaken too. The bible is clear that all have sinned and all fall short of the glory of God. None of us are worthy to stand before God. We cannot "work" our way into heaven or "earn" heaven by our own good deeds. God sent Jesus to show us how to live and give evidence that His word is true. That through the resurrection of Christ, we can overcome death (not death of flesh, but of spirit). We are saved from this death by faith in Jesus.
Here2ownU 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk In short, if you do not want to follow Christ, then yes..you will burn in hell. We are of two parts, flesh and spirit. Christ offers spiritual salvation. Flesh is our limited body in the present life and in biblical terms represents our earthly desires. Flesh and spirit are in conflict within each of us. Flesh leads us to ungodly desires. Such as addictions, lust, anger. It could be homosexuality as well as it not a given desire but rather a pursued one.
Here2ownU 3 weeks ago
@Here2ownU Let me give you this scenario, a violent killer rapes, tortures and murders a young 15 year old girl. This girl has always been kind to people and shown lots of love to others throughout her young life, but she is skeptical about Christ and rejects him. Now, years later, the killer in prison, on his deathbed genuinely repents and accepts christ. According to your beliefs, regarding the sadistic rapist killer, and the little girl, who goes to heavan and who goes to hell?
bonnie43uk 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk Given your scenario, the killer goes to heaven and the girl does go to hell. But here's another question, would a "sadistic" child rapist really repent? There is a concept called the "reprobate mind". Even in the bible it says God cannot work with an indifferent heart (someone without one) as it takes a sincere heart to repent. I think you would be hard pressed to find such a case. Also, within Christianity there is another concept, "age of innocence." Cont.
Here2ownU 3 weeks ago
@Here2ownU Cont. Jesus, "unless you are like one these (referring to children), then you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven". I think 15 is old enough to reject Christ, so yes. She would go to hell. If she were 5, 10, or had downsyndrome, I would think otherwise. Also, Jesus warned the Pharisee's (whom were good and followed the law) that they were not in favor with God. He also told the theif on the cross he would dine in heaven. Here's a question. What if you die tonight?
Here2ownU 3 weeks ago
@Here2ownU What if i died tonight, ... I'd sleep forever, thats a pretty nice thought for me. I was nothing for billions of years prior to me being born, and it didn't inconvienience me in the slightest, and the same applies after I've gone. ( although, according to your beliefs i will be tortured forever for merely not accepting your god) Nice religion you've got there my friend.

@bonnie43uk The Scriptures and testimonies of people who went there, but were able to return to warn us. There's plenty of testimonies on my channel. The Cross matters. Jesus died so you could live. What do you think Jesus is "saving' from?
hoagy918 3 weeks ago
@hoagy918 Yeah, but how do you know those scriptures are true?. Are you telling me to accept Jesus Christ as my saviour, or burn in eternal hell? .. thats my choice? Really?.. Well, even given that ultimatum, I'm not going to accept Christ as my saviour. I would be a hypocrite to accept something that, truly, in my heart, I am skeptical of. If Jesus could look into my heart, he'd know I have genuine doubts about him. Truly, I do not believe.
bonnie43uk 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk I'm saying Jesus loves you personally, He suffered & died for you on the Cross, He rose again after putting away all sin, including every sin you have committed or will commit. Jesus is the love and grace of God. Accept the most loving gift ever offered by just believing in Jesus, become a daughter of God, have a loving relationship with God, call Him Abba or Daddy, join the family of God, know when your time is up on earth, you'll spend eternity with us in heaven.
hoagy918 3 weeks ago
@hoagy918 The thought of spending eternity with you is not something that fills me with joy, .. quite the opposite.
bonnie43uk 3 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk It's not a matter of spending eternity with me, it's a matter of missing out on heaven and spending eternity in hell. No one goes to hell for homosexuality. There is only 1 unforgivable sin that will cause you to end up in hell. The unforgivable sin is to repeatedly & consistently reject Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. God, the Judge, pardons you, but you reject His provision [Jesus] for a pardon. You then bear the responsibility for your punishment.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 I've told you, I reject Jesus because I would be a hypocrite if I put my trust in something or someone that I dont see any evidence for. I am a skeptical person, you are saying I will be punished for simply having doubt.?
This planet has been around for billions of years, I can see evidence for that, I have lots of faith in mankind, but not in supernatural claims. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Where is it?.
bonnie43uk 2 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk If you sincerely looked for the evidence you would find it. It's all over my channel; in Bible prophecy; miracles of healing & resurrection; but you don't have the courage to look, because then you would be accountable, which you are anyways. Jesus reconciled us to God, He proclaimed His name; it wasn't Yahweh or Jehovah, it was "Father." Through Jesus you could have a close loving relationship with God. But, right now, God is not your Father, He is only your Creator.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@hoagy918 Wrong again Hoagy, I've now looked at your home channel twice and watched a few video's. I saw absolutely no evidence whatsoever, only people who've been deluded into thinking they've seen evidence of god.

bonnie43uk 2 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk Anyone who doesn't agree with your subjective opinion is deluded? I think you can tell when someone is sincere when they give a testimony. Are you sure it isn't people who don't believe in God;heaven; and hell that are deluded? I don't like like talking about hell, but if I don't tell the truth about it, then I would be negligent. Please watch the Ian McCormack playlist on my ch. He goes night diving & is stung by Box jellyfish. It's heartwarming, funny, and sincere.
hoagy918 2 weeks ago
@bonnie43uk Those scriptures are real. And their alot of evidence to back it up. Of course theirs are some myths saying the bible is wrong and full of contradictions. But those arguments can be debunked just like the zeitgeist movie. The only proof that god exist is a testimony but to get their you must have faith. Arguing doesn't really help. Now ask me 3 questions at a time and i would gladly answer from what i know through my spirit. Im no where near perfect but i give my best.

@EvangeMani And if you can't tell me why my comment is hypocritical or uses ignorant language then maybe you should listen to your own advice.

Don't these people realize that all speeches like this do for rational people is make them hate Christianity for being bigotted? This guy is such a douchebag!

@frabjous79 if you can't create an argument that isn't riddled with hypocrisy and ignorant language than you shouldn't comment at all.
