That does not mean they are adhered to by all, though.

Technological advancement does not mean soul development.

Just as there are people with both evil and good behavior, so it is with any ET race. Think about it. They are not angels, after all; just beings, much like us.

Responsibility and accountability do get factored into the picture whether it's out in the cosmos or on Earth. As far as the technological advancement...where do I say that it means soul development? Technological advancement is a danger to our species any way you cut it...it has absolutely nothing to do with soul development and is contrary to it because it can be used against us and things seem to be headed in that direction unless we change things. Yes, this is good - very good for higher consciousness - but stay out of the major cities on this regimen.  The energies there are too dense, with this diet doesn't ground one enuf - one is unnecessarily buffeted around.

This is the diet of bliss. If one can't find it in life other ways, this will surely help :)

I feel the same way. It may be a lack of spiritual practice and dedication. It could also be your current habits, way of being, and choices in every moment which restricts or enables the reception of divine knowledge. Sometimes its hard, but I think consistent spiritual practice without expectations while being aware of yourself at every moment is the best thing we can do to change. I have yet to experience anything "amazing" just a subtle change in perception, but those may be the reasons.
