@vorhees Hi - are you based in Europe? I am in Spain but in probably in Germany teaching later in the year. Feel free to come and train with us. retards - I am Guessing however that you are writing from the security name that is not your own and a country far far away and a .....
@Obsidian1392 Hi - I have never trainined sparring in China in this. They do compete in San Da competition however the last years - I do not know how they prepare for that. Regarding self defence drills, in China I have not seen drills practiced repetitively for defence although there are exercises. In the context of the art though, it is a little like saying "where are the health exercises in boxing it is all just fighting" - it is wrapped up.
@martinpaulwatts to continue - ( word limit ) I do agree that unless the applications are practiced a little more rigourously they cannot be applied proplerly, but I am sure that the people who want to be applying them are doing that - as are we. Personally I have met people who probably do not practice fighting i.e. are training just forms and exercises, but who I certainly do not think I could take out in a fight so this must be another route. feel free to pm me if you are interested. martin
Your White Crane is very good! You have good form and you seem to have strong internal power. I am a novice myself, and am learning a very particular version of White Crane. It is my favorite.
Thats well good, I know a different version of this, the first 8 steps are nearly exactly the same but after that there are some big differences. Like the kick, in the version that I know there is no kick.
The reason it is called 13 is that there are 13 steps if you count them. how many steps are there in your form? May be you could post for me here or private and I could tell you if I recognise the second section from anther form.
Yes, I know there are 13 steps in the one I know, just the hand movements are different, so how many forms do you? And the video I have of me doing the form is taken a few days after i learned it with me explaining the movements to myself so i don't forget lol so if record another one i will put it up.
Loved it

not trying to sound rude, but why is it whenever I look up this style on youtube I can never see sparring or defence drills?
