It says something when splicing firefly footage into a fan made trailer of the Green Lantern is more exciting than the prospect of any trailer by nice abs Reynolds. He is hot but he just can't act. Bradely Cooper, in my opinion would make a great Green Lantern. He looks the part and he isnt a bad actor at all. Yet, Ryan Reynolds does have hero experience woorking with Hugh Jackman and Liev Schriber...And there are no rules saying he cant be a comic book character for Marvel and DC lol. If it does come down to him having to choose between Deadpool and Green Lantern he should definitely go with Deadpool. Let's face it, Not a lot of people are fans of the Green Lantern core and It probably wouldn't be that great of a movie. But a lot of people love Deadpool because of his big mouth and how he breaks the fourth wall.
GL has potential for a good movie more than Deadpool, he has a lot of story material, while Deadpool could easily get annoying, he is a good supporting character at best. Plus I am getting pretty sick of Marvel movies, the success has gone to their head and the quality is getting shittier and shitter, I think The Dark Knight is the turning point for DC films.
I think Nathan Fillian should be playing the part of Hal Jordan. He looks more the part and has the attitude for it. I think Ryan Reynolds would be much, much better playing the part of Guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner. Preferably Guy Gardner (my favorite).

I think RR actually looks the part of the alter ego, which to me is key when selecting an actor to be the hero. He will need very little physical work prior to filming. And using Hal Jordan is not meant to be racist, it's just being true to the source material. The first GLC member (all respects to Alan Scott) was Hal, who btw was more light hearted, like RR, prior to the Emerald Twilight/Parallax/Rebirth, so I think it will work.

No he should stay with deadpool even if wolverine F***IN RUINED deadpools look & speech, but since I heard there was a movie coming out with deadpool they might stick to the real character better this time... I say Bradely Cooper should play the Green Lantern, no effense to him or any one but hes not gonna play any other hero. Plus Ryan Reynolds likes deadpool too much to possibly give him up.

I'm not sure if this has been posted already or not, but I think Ryan Reynolds would make a much, much better Flash, than Green Lantern. I think the folks at DC should've gone with someone else and used him in a Flash movie.

Bradely Cooper, in my opinion would make a great Green Lantern. He looks the part and he isnt a bad actor at all. Yet, Ryan Reynolds does have hero experience woorking with Hugh Jackman and Liev Schriber...And there are no rules saying he cant be a comic book character for Marvel and DC lol. That would be pretty cool. Looking forward to the movie and good luck Ryan.

If it does come down to him having to choose between Deadpool and Green Lantern he should definitely go with Deadpool. Let's face it, Not a lot of people are fans of the Green Lantern core and It probably wouldn't be that great of a movie. But a lot of people love Deadpool because of his big mouth and how he breaks the fourth wall.

GL has potential for a good movie more than Deadpool, he has a lot of story material, while Deadpool could easily get annoying, he is a good supporting character at best. Plus I am getting pretty sick of Marvel movies, the success has gone to their head and the quality is getting shittier and shitter, I think The Dark Knight is the turning point for DC films.

I think Nathan Fillian should be playing the part of Hal Jordan. He looks more the part and has the attitude for it. I think Ryan Reynolds would be much, much better playing the part of Guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner. Preferably Guy Gardner (my favorite).

THAT is why the first movie is about him.

I think RR actually looks the part of the alter ego, which to me is key when selecting an actor to be the hero. He will need very little physical work prior to filming. And using Hal Jordan is not meant to be racist, it's just being true to the source material. The first GLC member (all respects to Alan Scott) was Hal, who btw was more light hearted, like RR, prior to the Emerald Twilight/Parallax/Rebirth, so I think it will work.
P.S. whoever said Hugo Weaving for Sinestro...Awesome!

Guy gardner was a douche...worst lantern ever..John Stewart was cool, but was always more bit-part in the actual comic- he starred in the animated series (racism? i like to hope not, but...) The newest one Kyle is really good, but the best in my op. is the original Hal Jordan...who should play him...ME! prolly won't happen, but what a comic-nerd cream-dream! He comes before John Stewart the bronze age green lantern (African-American) -
Anyway. I dont think RR should play Green Lantern. He isnt what I'd imagine GL would look like. He is much more suited to playing Flash, because he has a comedic side.
