for shields just find a picture of the shield and put it onto notepad or word and shrink it to right size

you cant use notepad for that...

if you dont have photoshop or something better, use ms PAINT. then, right-click on the file(the shield graphic, be it zelda or any other design you wish to use) select open with PAINT, then, select the whole picture using the little select tool. (or, you could just select a region of a pic that has the shield design, if you cant find just the shield in any graphics.)

then, open a NEW file in paint, and hit ctr-v (to paste the image) onto the white canvass. now, as soon as you paste it, you should be able to "grab" the "sides" of the pasted area, or the corner would be better, and grag it in or out to ajust the size, for printing it.
