The GTR is an over rated piece of shit. Just because a company only makes a cool car once a decade doesnt mean its "da bomb". The Z06 is a true performer, hell the corvette always has been, give me a LS6 or LS7, either one pulls like a motherfucker at all rpms without a turbo or supercharger. Give the GTR a LS7 and do away with the "I cant wipe my own ass" AWD and it would be a step in the right direction. The only thing I will say of the GTR that is positive is that its pretty sexy.

Oh, damn. I think I saw this vette in person at a car show? The guy who owned it wasn't there, but someone with another vette said he knew the guy and that it's SC making a little over 600hp. This has the same wheels and spoiler and same black paint.. And that looks to be VIR too i think, which i was told he goes to play around at.

i just went 2 days ago with two close friends/business partners to go pick up there new cars. one got the new nissan GTE one picked up a new zo6. raced em both from a roll on the highway yesterday, GTR took the vette pretty good. took em to the track, gtr ran mid 11s all night, z06 ran low 12s. but then again neither are broken in yet and not to mention tractions issues on factory tires on the vette against AWD GTR. I'll be posting some vidz soon

Dude let me tell you, I was in the same boat. you can buy a used C6 pretty cheap now if you're buying for looks buy one of these. BUT for about 20-24(a little less than a c6) you can get a c5z06 ... faster than the ls2 and as fast as the 08+ ls3 vettes. great car for racing. plus idiots who don't know a difference (some cocky c6 guys too haha) want to race thinking its a regular c5 will get there butts handed to them. ... tho they got nothin on this guys car. I decided to go with the c5z06
