  • OMG!!!!! That is hilarious! Starlings are SO curious! But what is remarkable is how gentle FEMA is with Pom-Pom! That is one special doggy. And she doesn't hurt the bird let alone get up and leave! So sweet.

  • Hey, How much for the Dog?

  • @tdkempton Sorry, FEMA is not for sale.

  • pom pom go to a dentist school and pursue ur dream!

  • 2:20 was probably the funniest. It's as if FEMA was saying "alright, enough peckin'."

Pom-Pom was probably thinking "hmmm, if I dig deep enough in here, maybe I'll find something to eat."

  • This is adorable! My cur dog mix wants to eat my starling every chance he gets! I guess because the wild's outside pick on him all the time =)

  • FEMA just seems happy enough keeping Pom-Pom away from her eyes X3

  • Kasia, you are St. Francis! i want a big house so i can do this when I retire...god bless you! and Beakie sends love.

  • ...very cute..I think she wanted to be a Dentist :-)

  • She gave it up. Now we think she is a he because she is building a nest.

  • I should upload the video of my duckling crawling on to my 30 kilo dog's back and my dog helping it by nosing it up, then licking the duckling! What a great pup you have!

  • Fema is a saint! And Pom-Pom, who is adorable, has great aspirations to become a dentist...how sweet!

  • Fema is wonderful with all our birds, ducks and chickens. I couldn't have asked for a better dog. We rescued FEMA right after hurricane Katrina before we even knew if our house in New Orleans was still there. So Fema is a survivor of Katrina, but we couldn't name her that because that's MY name.

  • I thought her name was FEMA for a reason! You're an amazing person and I admire you, to have taken in all these lost and needy creatures and love them and care for them so much. How wonderful! I know how much work one bird takes--Can't imagine having 14 birds! I'm thinking of getting another starling, hmmm....

  • As of Jan 2009 we are up to 19 birds, 7 chickens, 9 ducks, a dog, cat, and two kittens found in the yard just born with no mama, so I raised them myself and they are going to be adopted out.

  • is Fema ur dog too? And Katrina's ur real name? I luv dogszzzzzzz soooooooooooooooooooooo much!! post more vids of Fema plzzzzz:)

  • Ouch! So Funny though! I love the starlings after seeing them at work in your videos! Are you in the US?

  • I'm glad you like my videos. I have a lot more I'm going to post in the next few days. I'm in New Orleans, but was born in Poland.

  • Ooooo! Did I hear "DUMAR"! :D I recognize his "voice" from your other video. I have a starling named Nova, but he can't talk yet :) Anyway, I enjoyed your video and FEMA is also an AMAZING dog! lol..and a very tollerant one :D

  • Thank you. Yes, that's Damar talking in the background. FEMA is a very good dog. I've added another video of FEMA playing tug of war with our rooster, Neelix. She really loves all of our birds.

  • Is Nova talking yet? Yes, that's Damar in the background, as well as his sister, Dukot. You should join Starling Talk. It's a message board for all starling lovers. We exchange photos, videos and stories, some of them are hillarious.

  • What an adorable dog!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheeky Starling.........thinks he's a Dentist I suppose!! Most enjoyable .........thanks!

  • Pom-Pom loves doing that to the dog, and now that we have a baby chicken, the chicken also tortures the dog and the dog just takes it all in and doesn't mind.

  • You have some wonderful birds and that dog

  • I love it Kasia! Your right, I can't belive it!

  • Pom-Pom just started making frieds with the dog since we got her. FEMA goed in the kennel when I can't watch her because we have 14 birds just flying around the house and a duck, so I don't trust her alone with the birds. When FEMA was in the kennel, Pom-Pom would walk up to her and start yanking her lips. And FEMA puts her face right next to the bars so that Pom Pom can bite her. We couldn't believe our eyes! When FEMA is on my bed, Pom-Pom can't wait t

  • Wow that's quite a bird, he keeps saying "kiss dog". Do you know about the dangers of mammilian saliva? There is something called pasturella in it that can kill a bird in less than 24 hours.

  • From what I have learned so far, dog or cat saliva can kill a bird in a short time if the bird has been bitten and the saliva gets into the bloodstream. They have to go on antibiotics immediately in order to survive.

  • My vet said you have to be careful if your birds eat off of your plate. You don't want them to eat anything you have slobbered on. I don't think dogs are as bad as cats and humans. I love you birds!

    Barbara and Twinkle

  • Barbara, I've been trying to email you through here for days, but I don't think you're getting my emails. How did you like my Saints and your Bears game? LOL We also have a cat, but she stays in the FEMA trailer in New Orleans with my husband during the week. I don't trust the cat around my birdies, but the dog, well, you see how she is. Still, we always lock her up in a kennel when we leave the house.

  • I can't figure out how the email works on this either. Twinkle had predicted the Bears to win on a local radio station(don't ask how, but I will tell you it has something to do with what starlings do every 2 minutes) The starlings watched the game and fell asleep after Berry did his back flip. Thanks for posting him, I can't figure out how to get my computer to recognize the camcorder either. Best Wishes

  • Every two minutes? There's only one thing...POOP

    lol
