He's not a fuckhole he just doesn't want to play what you want him to play, he's the musician, you're the listener, he's trying new things out, he knew people would have mixed emotions, if you read up on anything that he was doing and made informed comments you should have known that. I hate to say it, but if he went to grunge it'd go horribly, grunge needs a new visionnary if it's going to come back, and I bet Cornell might even come back to grunge. Don't just Cornell because he's still a god.

Dude, your totally missing the point. Grunge 90s style is completely dead. Its turned retro w/bands like The Hives, My Chemical Romance etc.... If SG reformed with or without Cornell it would looked like a nostalgia act. OK Pearl Jam is still relevant but they were always more "Future Classic Rock" than Grunge.

Saw them last november with A7X, The Confession and Black Tide in Hammerstien... IMO, they were the worst of the 4, and they were still awsome... great show... they covered It's So Easy by G-N-R with M.Shadows... that was pretty sweet.

I seen these guys saturday at Bayfest in Mobile, AL., and prior to that the way I looked at them was a remake of older bands, with a want to be Chris Cornell lead singer. But they were really good live. They have their own sound, and some very original content. They can't be judged by this one song. Until you see the live, you won't understand.
