This reminded me of my first ceremony that I attended for a Soldier who died in our Battalion, and I never been to a funeral before. At first I was ok, until they started doing the roll call and it was silent when they called his name. I started crying for a Soldier I never met, but I was very proud at the same time. I still have his picture from the pamphlets they handed out, and I'll always honor and remember him as a fellow battle buddy.
