Awsome tutorial, but i do have a question. When you were applying your bronzer, i usually do mine in the same manner as you were saying but instead of putting it on the bridge of my nose, my mom taught me to do it on the sides. i think it helps sculpt the nose a little more but i was just wonder why you use the other method?

@MsWinkyTat Depending on the amount of coverage, (moreso if the scars are elevated from the skin or not) I use Benefit of San Francisco's Boing (especially if you have a pretty clear face) or Erase Paste (for me it hides zits and helps blend my dark circles which are horrid. Anyhow I was pretty blown away with how much coverage boing gave me although it is a bit pricey it seems very worth it. Also at walgreens and cvs they sell a Studio 35 HD face kit which i swear by for coverage big or small.

@ashaidev hey! i have the same issue, and i just wanted to let you know that ive found that it helps if you lightly push your lashes downward before you start to apply the eyeliner. mine will usually stay put and then you can just curl them later. hope that helps!

I like your videos but I do have to bring up that when you use MAC 187 brush to stipple the foundation on, when you blend it in,,,your defeating the purpose of using the brush because you taking away the air brush effect.
And in regards to your brushes...as long as they're just being used for you, and you don't have acne issues it's fine to have them a little grungy. (acneic skin needs to have the bacteria removed DAILY, as acne is CAUSED by bacteria and dirty brushes would only make it worse.)

Loving the bronzing brush you used and I have searched and searched all over the web... Crown does not carry it by the looks of the site. How long have you had that brush? Any ideas for how I can get my mitts on one?
Crown carries it. It's under the Italian Badger series, IB101 chisel deluxe dome powder and it's $15.95. They also carry a similar brush in the studio series, C140 chisel deluxe dome for $12.95.
Nope - it's not the same. Look at the one she is using... it has a light tip at the end. It is also way HUGE. The IB101 is not the same nor is the C140 in Studio. Thanks anyway tho...
Look at the comments, about 3-4 pages back. Somebody asked before what the brush was and Kathy said it was the IB101. Hers looks huge in comparison because of the way she uses the brush.

I use the natural skin finish in medium, and then for highlight I use one called lightscapade but thats is discontinued. There is one called porcelain pink that is in an upcoming collection that Im going to get for a highlight as well though! :)

There are no rules to makeup! Use what ever you want that give you the results that you are looking for. The only down side to using a sponge to apply your foundation is that it soaks up alot of the product! What a waste.
It depends on your preference, I PERSONALLY do not like triangle sponges, I feel like they soak up too much makeup wasting a lot of money, and they dont always apply nice and even. However, at Target in the Sonia Kashuk section of cosmetics, there is a foundation sponge that is purple, its about 5 bucks and it is AMAZING. Wet it, wring it out so that its damp and then apply for great natural and even results :)

we pretty much have the same rutine =] except i use a mac cream color base in luna for a highlight and orgasm for the cheeks. if you haven't tried the cream color bases i highly recommend them.
oh and i forgot to ask - that crown brush is awesome - been looking for a huge powder brush like that for forever! do you know what it was called? I know its from the italian badger series but I don't know which brush specifically

ok my comment didnt make any sense. what i wanted to say is that ur skin looks flawless even before putting makeup on it and u have this light on ur face too so we cant really tell the difference before and after applying makeup

Loving the bronzing brush you used and I have searched and searched all over the web... Crown does not carry it by the looks of the site. How long have you had that brush? Any ideas for how I can get my mitts on one?

Crown carries it. It's under the Italian Badger series, IB101 chisel deluxe dome powder and it's $15.95. They also carry a similar brush in the studio series, C140 chisel deluxe dome for $12.95.

Nope - it's not the same. Look at the one she is using... it has a light tip at the end. It is also way HUGE. The IB101 is not the same nor is the C140 in Studio. Thanks anyway tho...

Look at the comments, about 3-4 pages back. Somebody asked before what the brush was and Kathy said it was the IB101. Hers looks huge in comparison because of the way she uses the brush.

I use the natural skin finish in medium, and then for highlight I use one called lightscapade but thats is discontinued. There is one called porcelain pink that is in an upcoming collection that Im going to get for a highlight as well though! :)

I'm trying to no longer be the lady with the blotchy /streaked foundation.....
never thought to combine a brush with liquid foundation , I'll try that .....would you suggest that women never use those triangle make-up sponges to apply makeup???

There are no rules to makeup! Use what ever you want that give you the results that you are looking for. The only down side to using a sponge to apply your foundation is that it soaks up alot of the product! What a waste.

It depends on your preference, I PERSONALLY do not like triangle sponges, I feel like they soak up too much makeup wasting a lot of money, and they dont always apply nice and even. However, at Target in the Sonia Kashuk section of cosmetics, there is a foundation sponge that is purple, its about 5 bucks and it is AMAZING. Wet it, wring it out so that its damp and then apply for great natural and even results :)

we pretty much have the same rutine =] except i use a mac cream color base in luna for a highlight and orgasm for the cheeks. if you haven't tried the cream color bases i highly recommend them.
