  • i really really enjoyed this it had such a different feels to every other type of vid/film i have seen about being overweight both those that are 'sympathetic' and those that aren't x

  • Glad to see the trailer sparked your interest and thanks for expressing your thoughts. It supports the myth that hatred for fat people really does exist. And sorry, I don't have any moo-moo's in my closet; however, I have made a concious, personal decision to make changes in my life. You are right, everyone needs to make their own decisions about what's right and wrong for them -- noone else can do that. I just wonder where your hatred comes from. I think a doc on that kind of hatred is needed.

  • @msdintx In my experience, people who show such hatred for fat people often just hate people, life and the world. Perhaps they had a bad childhood and are taking it out in the easiest way they know how: On fat people behind a computer screen.

  • have you considered that he might be extremely unhappy and not know a way out of it?

  • there is only one way to get fat and thats to eat to much and not excercise , my husband sits in a chair everynight after work (he drives for a living) and eats and eats and eats he is now so fat that I find him repulsive his fat wobbles as he walks and I am ashamed to be seen with him. Just bought another house and about to leave there is no excuse for being obese

  • you should put the movie on youtube. i'd love to see it

  • Your all amazing women. I am mobidley obese w/ co mordiditys. I weighed 142 at my smallest. Now Im 344 and if I dont get some help soon I dont think I'll be around much longer. I put out a Video too. maybe you could look at, and give me some tips on how I can get people to see my video and help. I love you all. It will get better.

  • I am going to borrow ideas from you and your subscribers.

  • It's wrong that no one wants to be fat, and it's especially wrong that no one wants to be different. Me, for example. If I could be any person in the world, I'd be Weird Al Yankovic. Yes, I think I want to be different. I want to be different, because when I look at the people in my life, I notice a lot of flaws. I respect them, but the flaws are there, so I say to myself "I don't care how weird people think I am, as long as I don't become the things I dislike about others."

  • I love this...Kudos to you girls!

  • It is just like a drug user. I eat like a pig, but to do that, I also lift 5 times a week and run 40 miles. I eat healthy, but eat a ton. I know I have to keep active to be able to enjoy so much food. Dieting is no excuse.

  • How much would it cost to have a gastric bypass surgery?! And is it a guarantee that it wont go back again?!

  • Hi there - Weight loss surgery pricing varies from doctor to doctor and by whether or not you have insurance coverage. In Texas, I believe the range is somewhere in the $20's, but it could be different in your part of the country. If you have insurance coverage, deductibles also vary along with the percentage of what's being covered. Again, you'd have to check with your doctor for pricing. Guarantees? There are none - it's only a tool and you have to do the work to keep it off. Good luck!

  • i am surprised there are people who are shopping for fat wife, what the fuck

  • Shopping for a fat wife is no different from men who prefer any other type of woman --- tall, short, blonde, brunette, Asian, Hispanic, White, Latino -- whatever....it's merely a preference. Do you like tattoo's? Some don't, but some love women with them -- same thing, different venue. Just try to keep an open mind about it -- whatever your preference is may be deemed as "different" by someone else -- even if you think it's "normal". Just a different cup of tea, that's all.....

  • 2:34 Thought she was gonna pop!

  • You have a right to your opinion, but I'm not sure why you feel the need to be so rude .... I guess it's another example of how much fat bashing still goes on and how folks are so offended by people who don't fit into "their" acceptable mold. I hope you gain some insight and compassion when you see the entire piece.

  • Can't you see that this 'illness' is born of abundance and greed, of poor self discipline and self delusion? There are many people in the world who are starving to death. Try getting sympathy from them.

  • @ralphinio4 <------I bet that was written while you were lighting a cigarette and gushing a bottle of beer. Both are also bi-products of abundance, greed, poor self-discipline and self-delusion.

  • how can i watch this and when does it come out?????? i really want to watch this it looks great.

  • my name is Lisa im gonna be a lapband user soon :)

  • very EASY TO AVOID EATING HABIT OF WRONG FOODS. JUST REMOVE THAT IN THE KITCHEN AND DONT BUY IT.

  • eat less and exercise more are not the simple answer to complex problem, neither humiliation and discrimination, shame would. =(

  • @albrenza A bullet in the head seems like a pretty simple solution to me. Fat pigs are disgusting, almost as revolting as fat women.

  • @albrenza I ate less and exercized more. I lost 130 lbs, and it's still off 3 years later. No Surgery. I walked an hour a day, ate about 1,200 calories. Took 9 months.

  • @albrenza what an idiot you aint got a clue

  • Wow awesome !!!!!!!! I cant wait to see the rest..Please let us know when the whole film is out....

  • this is amazing :)

  • What a fantastic documentary! What amazing women. I can't wait to see the whole film when it is done. Hope you get more sponsors to fund it.

  • These women are extraordinary, and so very brave. Bravo!

  • You have donea great job!

    bravo!

  • wow, this will be great. people need to know it's more than "oh just don't eat carbs":(:(:( let us know when it's done. also, it would be helpful if we could hear the voices over the music at the beginning.

  • Great story. Thanks for sharing. 2008 was a great year for me because I had WLS and I finally got myself back.

  • Wow. That is really moving. You picked an excellent, articulate endearing group of women to profile. I can't wait to see the whole thing.

  • Would love to see the entire documentary; some of the scenes were too dark to be seen very well. But love the stories and the idea. Thanks for telling 'our' story.

  • As someone who will be 62 in August, the line that hit me the hardest is, "When I'm 62, I want to be lying on the beach, not in a hospital bed." Me, too. That's why I had lapband surgery 2 years ago. It may not be pretty, but I'll be on the beach at 62, a lot slimmer than I was 2 years ago.

  • This is AMAZING! I actually thought about doing something like this before my Lapband surgery. I love that you all have put this together!

  • Will wait for this video...and watch it.

    Linda

  • I so cannot wait until this is out. Congrats on being our voices!! Thank you.

  • This looks a very eye opening movie for both those having WLS and their families. I can;t wait to see the wholething and share it withmy family.

  • Wow... what can I say. That was powerful and only a small part of the documentary. The openness and honesty is powerful. Thank you for sharing your stories... and yet sharing mine in a way. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

  • Can't WAIT to see this! Congrats!

  • Can't wait for this. It's long overdue. Bravo!

  • As a former bulimarexic who went through recovery, I can relate to the issues and changes they are faced with. I think it's great to do a film about this -- especially to show the support of the Girls sticking together and helping each other. The operation concerns me -- I hope they have psychotherapeutic support as well. There is no quick-fix to eating disorders. Congratulations on bringing it out into the public eye!

  • I have been "skinny" all my life. Never had a weight "problem" or even a concern about my weight. Regardless, I can totally relate to the situations presented here. Watching made me aware of my own crazy ideas about weight. But really, it's not about skinny me! For a change! It's about fat people trying to make it in this world, just like all the rest of us. It's a struggle worth knowing about.
