I have fond memories of going to Roseland as a child in the 70's. What a damned shame that the children of today will never be able to go there and have fun:(
They replaced it with condos!! They didn't care about us kids loving this place. It was a great amusement park,the best. How about the "galloping gurty" funhouse, or bumper cars, or paddle boats, and the best penny arcade ever!
It used to be a great park. I guess Canandaigua felt destroying the park and replacing it with a bunch of usless park benches was a better idea. At least the skyliner was saved and now resides at Lakemont park in PA.
It's a water park now. Bastards !!!!

Went to this park as a kid in the 70's, Just saw a video of Crystal Beach...thought to look for Roseland..and BAM!! There it is.

There once was a nice park there, Skyliner coaster and Golden Nugget darkride were great.
