Yea... too bad this is not what really happens. But more likely the opposite usually occurs. This video might pick apart the lowest common denominator of conservatives. This video might have one fact and then a bunch of "elitist" liberal partisan generalizations of conservatives.. Thumbs down to video.
@TheSmittel I have had conversations with more than dozens of GOP/Tea party members like this, including the stupid TARP comments because they literally didn't know what TARP really was or that we've actually recouped more than we spent on it.
Also, there are at least a dozen facts in the video. TARP recovery numbers, health care bankruptcies, HCR deficit neutral, the Tea Party is Koch funded, count them yourself.
HAHA! I love it! Ron Paul 2012! Let em sling mud, boys and girls, RP just ducks it every time and the chuckers are left with a hand that smells like shit! :) He's too smart!! I love the way everyone that slams RP cant answer a fucking THING about history or the monetary system itself - unless they "heard it on the TV" What a joke. You dickheads make me laugh with shit. You been doin it since school and never grew up - Someone's obvioulsy smarter than you, so you try and pick on em. Dumb fucks.
Too bad you had to do this with a cartoon. What happened? You couldn't find someone in the T.E.A. party to say the stupid things you wanted them too? That's ok don't let a little thing like the truth and facts get in your way. You are a liberal, the ends always justifies the means.
@chernmax even if Clinton did that, he didnt actually go to war over it. saying something is one thing, but acting on it, like Bush Jr., is something entirely different.
@Neoredboyzero Clintons inaction lead to a weakening of our standards with the Cole Bombing, 1st WTC attack and so much more until 9-11. The US at the time was too trigger happy and pissed off and went after all potential threats. The Democrats and Republicans in the House and Senate, 30 coalition nations and NATO all signed off on attacking Iraq. And it wasn't ONLY WMD that lead to Iraq's fall, but Saddam's continued violation of the cease fire resolution so he got whacked!
Oh great, the Paulbots have invaded this video comment section. Hey Paulbots, check out thinkprogress for the latest--Paul didn't say 20 years ago that he didn't write those racist newsletters--he DEFENDED them, and said critics were just taking them out of context. Ron Paul is a racist lunatic, and has no business getting anywhere near the White House.
@wiscgaloot Not a big fan of Paul, but he is a TAD better than the others in the Repub party...assuming one wishes to stain the name of Abraham Lincoln's party by including those people.
@wiscgaloot Is that all ya got? I'll take an old racist white guy who wants to stop spending trillions of dollars on wars the US started and treat Israel just like any other nation over the hateful war mongerers any day.
@wstorm1515 I know for a fact that "whites" are the biggest consumers of welfare(looking just at numbers). Not sure about the crime statistic, but since you lied about the welfare stat... logic would tell us you made that up too.
@wiscgaloot If Obama's mindless followers were Obamatons and now Ron Paul's are Paulbots, then tell me sir, are we all forced into being Androids or is there a leader still for Humans?
Beautiful. Love when facts are presented and people still choose to deny them. Love more the "sniffing the (misguided goon who had a show in the late afternoons on a network that would be illegal in Canada as they require truth in broadcasting)'s chalkdust...". This about sums it up. Namecalling, no facts and belief in Fake News versus truth, and seeing Fake News for what it is...a propaganda arm of the party of Fictional Values.
@k3n0bl Yes, and my doctor agrees that socialized healthcare is sustainable. He's all for it. It works in every other industrialized country, and their health care costs are half what ours are, as a percentage of GDP. Plus their level of health care is far better than ours.
Tea Party are idiots. Ron Paul has solutions, but the Tea Party is still spouting more crap like foreign wars to kill fictitious enemies created by the Zionist propagandists to enable their Banker Bosses to take the Caspian Sea oil, watch The Grand Chessboard on youtube
@vly991 Teaparty are enemies crafted by big government.big government is the most dangerous enemy ron paul can only save the world.teaparties are communists.they are socialist.vote for ron paultoget rid ofsocialism.teaparty is forbig government, unions and more taxes.but ron paul is for for tax cuts,no regulations and small government.teaparty wants public education and medicare.but ron paul doesnt wants it ..ron paul has solutions but teaparty doesnt have.ron paul 2012.eliminate the government.
@vly991 Also unions are the one who fund the tparty.unions will destroy america so destroy unions.also why need fema why care for the poor.its all what freedom is about taking your own risks.its not a right for people to be get helped by government whentheywereaffectedby naturaldisasters.cut student loans.educations isnot a right.legalize drugs and prostitution.cancel aid to foreign countries.we must get out of un and must not be friends with any countries.so for all these to happen voteronpaul
I guess when protests funded by unions flare up, we don't concider that any form of corruption do we? if corporations help fund a message that they think is moral, that must mean it's corruption. When government bribes it's citizens with money stolen from the taxcattle so that the recepients of that money will vote for the politicians that's not corruption. Only business-funded movements are corruption
Government doesn't pay for anything itself. The wealth belongs to producers
Also for the record, Obamacare will NOT lower costs. When has government intervention ever lowered costs?
Look the whole "deficit neutral" thing is a joke and has NOTHING to do with the COST (other than increase costs due to beaurocracy). The non partisan CBO can only work with the fictitious numbers that are given to them.
Don't take my word for it...look it up. I liked the vid up until that point.
@angryhatter Lol the farther left you go from the constitutional median, the more power the government has. The farther right you go from the constitutional median, the less power the government has. Although going to far in any direction from the constitutional median however is very very stupid. Fascism being a single party system that runs the government allowing no other parties to run candidates is a extreme form of government power, thus making it left wing.
@trudeaustat Fascist is right wing - the philosophy Mussolini started - Faces - Communism is Left ...they are diametrically opposed. Obvious that you do not understand the.
the founding fathers feared when writing the constitution that federal government could gain too much power. We have literally turned into the country we once fought to grant us independence for unjust taxes. tea partiers, conservatives, republicans all believe in one main clause, and that is one large central entity cannot run a country better than many smaller individual ones (State Governments). Any large federal program is great until it inevitably runs out of money. Life Libertyhappiness
...what-a-jumbled-mass-of-'20,000'-different-directions-of-public-'thinking'...myself included. We all believe, 'I have the revelation and answer!' Yet, in the end it's still...20,000 different directions... there are only 2 lousy parties in the U.S. One is, "Nah" and the other is, "Zee!"...and they BOTH run things for the same hidden overseas' power...
IMO: I went to a few Tea Party meetings, and I thought them to be a sincere grassroots effort to bring back authentic conservatism after the period of Bush neo-conservatism. There are no great minds there, however.
Stop saying were bible thumping christians who hate gays and black people. You got your group of asshole everywhere. Majority of people in the tea party are sick of govt and both parties. And are not rednecks with shotguns and bibles. You's are the puppets of the current american society.yep that's right! Let's see, every news source besides fox...cnn nbc abc msnbc, majority of major newspaper companies, hollywood, schools, colleges,SNL, Jon Stewart,MTV,re scripted history books....you believe in
Wow, this is ignorant, hateful, condescending, and prejudiced against people who belong to or agree with the tea party. Hateful, disgusting, lies, falsehood, ignorance. Ugh... Can I get my three minutes back?
The problem with this video is that it DOESN'T address Obamacare as what it is....A MANDATE!!! A BILL YOU ARE FORCED TO PAY AND ADD TO YOUR LIST! You can either pay your mandated health care bill and not have money to pay rent or for food but if you don't pay it....then the same thing happens only we fine you for $5000 and u have no healthcare, house, or food. The informed citizen is one of the many "informed" citizens who have never read the bill.
@airforcemax I apologize on behalf of all the insane tea partiers. I'm a libertarian and would be happy to answer and questions about the actual tea party movement coherently and without resorting to ad hominem arguments.
@airforcemax What? How on earth did you get that impression, I'm a libertarian, what part of that comment is distorted information, The tea party are a bunch of morons, they've only got half the pie so to speak. Want to be "Fiscally Conservative" but impress upon everyones personal freedoms. I only commented that the "Informed Citizen" seems to defend Obamacare, you won't see or hear a Libertarian say that. And what the hell would make you any type of authority on Libertarianism? U READ the Bill
a tea partier REALLY is someone who believes if someone cant afford to pay what the corps charge to live, then they should just die.. they want to destroy soc. security, medicaid/care, food stamps, govt housing and child care and kill min wage laws.. KILLING millions of poor sick and old. allowing companies to pay 3$ an hour for work, all to cut taxes for the rich. they want to teach christianity in schools, and punish gays and non-christians.. they should b treated as terrorists.
@raztis1 That basically raps up what many of them believe. But they worded it and sugar coat it so it doesn't seem so harsh, but we see through their wording and sugar.
@raztis1 I agree with 80% of the things you said tea partiers agree with. All except for the part about teaching christianity and punishing gays. I'm an atheist libertarian. :P
@Fablefiend lol, r u saying you believe the teaparty is trying to hurt the poor but not that their trying to teach christianity? or that u like that they r trying to do those things except for teaching christianity?
@raztis1 The tea party movement is really just a surge of libertarianism. Smaller government, free trade, cutting welfare, lowering taxes, and basically instilling social darwinism. Most tea partiers aren't true libertarians, but just extreme republicans, but it doesn't matter their position on social programs. The tea party movement doesn't address punishing gays and non-christians.
@Fablefiend i dont see how u can say that? when they say things like they want to permanently ban gay marraige, that being gay is evil and wrong. or when they say they want to teach creationism in science class, or when they say ppl should get off welfare and go to a church for assistance. making an athiest go to a church for help is like making a christian go to an abortion clinic for their kids hcare. perry, cain, bachmann, and paul have all said things like this. these r attacks on them
@raztis1 You chose the most radical, insane republicans you could (besides paul). :P When has Ron Paul said anything about that? Just because some tea partiers feel that way doesn't mean the entire movement is like that. For example, Herman Cain said that he doesn't feel comfortable having a Muslim in his Cabinet. Does that mean every Republican is like that? Does every Democrat support everything Obama does?
@Fablefiend paul said that if someone needs care, they should go to a church instead of getting govt assistance. and has said he wants to end min wage laws to make us more competitive.. this would allow companies like walmart, target, gas stations, etc to pay ppl 3$ an hour if they want.. this is extreme.. if he also killed medicaid, food stamps, etc (less govt right) it would mean 60+ million ppl would either starve in the street, or kill ppl to survive. we need to pay the poor more not less.
@raztis1 Sounds great. Hate to be harsh, but that's how it works. Why should I pay more money just because people had an accident or got hurt? I highly doubt 60,000,000 would starve if food stamps are eliminated. Not even that many people died during the Great Depression. In 1934, the population was about 6,000,000. There were 110 deaths directly related to starving. That's .000183% of the population in the worst possible place in the worst possible time. Let's compare this to the USSR, shall we
@Fablefiend cont from below. its never good when were comparing us to the USSR. and the evidence is the marie antionette scenario.. which happened more than once in history, when the rich would push and push to keep everything and the majority of the pop. couldnt self sustain themselves, they revolted, often with bloody countrywide results.. a countrys level of greatness is determined by its poorest people, if they can selfsustain, the country is doing well, when they cant, it falls..
@raztis1 The French Revolution was caused because the people couldn't afford paying the ridiculous taxe. Also, I have no idea where you are getting these figures that 65% of the population needs welfare and food stamps.
@Fablefiend not now, now its 1 in 6 ppl on food stamps, and 1 in 3 that need healthcare. look, when the GOP say they want to make the country "more attractive" to companies that have jobs in say china, they mean cut pay. and they openly say they want to get rid of the min wage laws. so that companies can pay less money to their employees, which will bring more jobs. BUT 35% now make less than 35k (the avg cost of living) this will multiply, and with no govt assist, these ppl will starve
Choice A: Minimum wage laws which result in outsourcing many jobs. This causes more unemployment and more people relying on food stamps.
Choice B: No minimum wage laws which result in more jobs. This causes more employment, even though the pay may be low.
If we go with Choice A, more people will have to pay more taxes to pay for the food stamps. This also results in more freeloaders that aren't working. We would be supporting slackers.
@Fablefiend but we have a thrid choice.. the FACT is, the problem isnt the cost, its the greed of corps.. see, in the 50s the avg income was only 5k.yr.. BUT a new car was 1k, a new home was 7k. the rich make 50-100k and the rest went to the workers and costs. now the avg is 40k, but a new car is 30k, a home is 300k and the rich make 10-50 million. we need to make them stop. choice c. implement 100% tariffs on companies w american liscences who outsource, and make them lose thier patents..cont.
@Fablefiend cont. from above.. SO, if a company starts up, becomes large and then outsources. they lose their patents. AND.. lets say they sell pens (easy) here for 1$, and it costs .75 to make here, they decide to go to china so they can make it for .15cents. not only do they lose their patent, so an american company can now make the pen here. but they get tariffed for 100% value. so now, they can make it for .15 in china, but it costs them 1.15$ just to make a profit. they come back.
@raztis1 Great. More government regulations. The problem is that the business would just leave the United States. More profit in England? Move to england, outsource jobs to China, and make tons of money for the UK economy. By taking away the richest people in the world, you are also getting rid of the biggest philanthropists and supporters of education, the arts, animal cruelty prevention, etc.
@Fablefiend like i said tho.. if they move.. cool, they lose their patents.. now a US based company that wants to stay here can make the same product, but manuf it here.. more US jobs, higher wages, means less need for social programs, we can get back to the days of the man working 40hrs a week, and paying for everything the family needs without worry, etc. anything else will just put more power in the hands of the companies, so they can charge more, pay less, and kill our economy.
@raztis1 Bingo Fablefiend. Thats exactly how you deal with big corpa threats about leaving the country if they get regulated. Regulate them more. They WILL do business here, they have no choice. They have just successfully bullied and terrified so many into thinking otherwise.
@raztis1 In Ukraine SSR 1932-1933, there were between 2.4-7.5 million deaths due to starvation (about 10% of the population). This is in a purely socialist/communist state (i.e. the other extreme scenerio). Keep in mind these are absolute worst-case scenerios. Realistically, these won't happen again. What I'm trying to say is, millions of people won't die from lowered taxes.
@Fablefiend no, but they will based on HOW they get those lower taxes. they have openly said their plan is to kill min wage laws, kill medicaid, food stamps, govt housing and childcare, and extremely reduce soc. security and medicare. THESE WILL kill millions of ppl. the cost of living is 35k a yr. a min wage job NOW pays 16k, millions of ppl suplement the remaining cost thru govt assistance. if these r gone.. AND min wage goes to say 4$. ppl will starve, ppl will kill to eat...cont..
@Fablefiend ..cont.. about 60% to 70% of the pop. make less than 35k a year.. if their wages r cut in half, AND they have no govt assistance. what r their choices.. repubs say "get an education" well that takes 4+yrs. in a good situation.. but how can u get a degree if your a single parent with three kids working two jobs only because you have govt childcare. and even then your only making 28-30k a yr... its not realistic, and you force them into a choice of starving or killing to feed kids
@raztis1 You have no historical evidence supporting these claims. You also seem to forget about charity. Many charities are currently supporting low-income families, and more would surely pop up in the event of eliminating taxes. The thing is though, the government, and I, shouldn't have to care for every single person and their issues. All of the taxes the government places on the rich would have been used for philanthropy. Bill Gates pledged 90% of his total money to charities as did Buffet.
@Fablefiend charities work when a smll portion of the pop. need assistance, but because of todays corperations and laws, this isnt a "small portion" do u think charities could sustain 65% of the pop. every day of the year, every year. it doesnt work. when the GOP talk about making america more "attractive" to businesses, they mean cut pay.. it doesnt work, and when ppl like u dont have to "care" about it, then 65% take what they need, from u.. by force. thats WHY we need to sustain them.
@raztis1 Totally feel you there, however, Ron Paul was using the Church as just an example of how people used to do things before there was welfare and medacaid, etc. Paul is a true freedom candidte and I romise that he would not expect an aethiest to go to a church for donations. He also would not phase our our social programs untill people had a leg to stand on. If you want, I can send you more specifics on how this would work. But RIGHT ARM MAN!!!! YOU GET EM!
@Fablefiend I read the whole comment and mainly agree, except "tea party movement is just a surge of libertarianism." Most Libertarians DO NOT associate with the tea party and yes they do address gays and non-christians, hence their town hall meeting about banning mosques and Muslim clothing. We refer to them mainly as "Holy-Rollers"
@Kelly4Constitution Most tea partiers are extreme christians, but the tea party movement is all about fiscal conservatism. Unfortunately, many proponents of the tea part movement want to tag on religion and authoritarianism, which is ironically the exact opposite of what it's all about.
The folks who are getting free Stuff don't like the folks who are paying for the free Stuff (the Terrorist Tea Party) because the folks who are paying for the free Stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free Stuff and their own Stuff.
And, the folks who are paying for the free Stuff want the free Stuff to stop. And, the folks who are getting the free Stuff want even MORE free Stuff on top of the free Stuff they're getting already!
#6 Bush era tax breaks. The Bush era tax breaks are scheduled to end in 2012 anyway. Stop crying about not getting an increase in revenue. You'll get it when we get spending cuts!
#5. Being in pursuit of liberty is quite a bit different than being a liberal! Civil liberties are important, but liberals seem to be more concerned with welfare and immigration than trying to keep people's earnings in their pockets, and yeah I won't apologize for not wanting to pay for some illegal immigrants health care bill or retirement (social security).
#4. Obama's policies are the same as bush. The fact that bush and Obama both bail out the banks and corporations instead of cutting a check to the taxpayer should be enough to show that they don't care about you. Too big to fail is a crock!
#3 mind you Bush was no conservative. Bush spent a total of 4.858 trillion dollars in 8 years as president compared to Obama spending 3.445 trillion dollars in his first two years as president. Bush averaged .607 trillion a year compared to Obama spending 1.723 trillion a year. So, to say that Obama hasn't spent as much as Bush would be correct, but only because he hasn't had enough time yet. Give him the time and he will spend way more than Bush ever dreamed.
#2 Obama does not are about democrats or he would have been in Wisconsin during the recall elections instead of on vacation. He should have at least made an appearance to get more supporters for the democratic party. So, GOP still maintains the majority there.
Ok. #1 the tea party started when Bush was in office due to comments made by Rick santelli on cnbc due to the TARP bailouts. So how about you stop your crying about "where was the tea party when bush was in office?"
Obamacare will bankrupt us all. Cybesq- you need to do a lot more research. Eighty years of Keynseian economic policies from both sides of the aisle got us into this financial mess. We can't tax and spend our way out of it.
When i post a comment on rick perry's channel it goes to "pending approval"??? Also the like/dislike buttons have been disabled... You can't even post on Bachman's uploads...Hummmm so much for free speech!!!!
@p90xsteroids the founding fathers of our country were indeed terrorist against an oppressive force. So, when a group of people is opposed to my possession of fire arms or my ability to say I don't want to go further into debt, what does that make them? I'd call them traitors to the United States! Someone had to stand up and say that the nations debt is deep enough, and the democrats would never have done it!
@lobestarter1 It is biases, however... everything that was said about Tea Party and the national dept was true. Where was the Tea Party years ago when Bush was busy fucking over the U.S.? The GOP is still fucking up the U.S., thanks to the voices of numerous misinformed ignorami that compose the Tea Party, only now they can blame the increase in dept to President Obama, who doesn't do a thing to stop the Republicans plans to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.
@p90xsteroids road to recovery? the last congress push all the budget and debt limit increase to the end of last year so they would fall on the new congress. there had been fears that we could lose the AAA credit rating since o8. and we are NOT A FUCKING DEMOCRACY. any one who passed high school should know this.
@p90xsteroids the US is a republic. where you have your education has nothing to do with it. how you draw a line between those two is on you. also instead of having debate and working thur the problems. even if all the teaparty is are views on topics and limited scope you should still hear them out. but instead you say send them to the guillotine. so if you can't win you kill people who disagree with you? this is a sign of a weak person.
@p90xsteroids yes but a republic is still different than a DEMOCRACY. there are a some good book and papesr written on why we did not go with the latter. Noose jokes? never heard one. but yes since the guillotine was used to kill people in France who did not agree with the ruling party yes i think it's worst. becuz many were killed for simply disagreeing. which rights are they taking away? i will stand with you if that is true? ( but under obama the patriot act has been expanded so idk)
@p90xsteroids Tea Partiers are not extremists we're just sick of our Liberal leadership.
"I've already heard enough from teabaggers and they are extremists trying to take away our rights and trying to impose their ideology on others, yes, im willing to kill extremists to defend my family and my neighbors just like we do with the taliban and osama"
so your saying you want to kill american citizens that are in the Teaparty? your the fucking extremist nut dude read what u just wrote!
@DailyStaley so you elect teabaggers who have huge amounts of personal debt to solve our nation's debt problem when the economy, job creation, and infrastructure repair is our priority
why dont all of you sign pledges to refuse social security, etc?
im sick of the taliban tea party extremism
dont be an extremist and dont threaten my rights and youll be safe
the civil war was fought between american citizens, american citizens killed each other, so which side was the extremist nuts in that war?
@harperjoe what is an extremists? how do you place that label. you call for the death of people part of the tea party movement or who agree with them. are you not an extremists? and the tae party is not like the taliban. you may wish that they were to give support to your distorted view of the nation. but they are worlds apart my friend. i hope the coming years of age bring peace to your heart and mind.
@harperjoe so making threats to obama and other liberals is okay but making death jokes about the taliban tea party is not okay, got ya
anything (more like any truth) that disagrees with their view is extremism
ive heard their threats to life and prosperity from their shock jocks
the guillotine was a medical device turned murder weapon because the french peasants got fed up with the bullshit given to them by the rich, the king, and their tax collectors - sounds a lot like tea party vs taxes
@p90xsteroids your view on the use of the guillotine and the french revolution are over simplified. and again i have not seen any death jokes. which shock jocks are you talking about?
I like how all you tea partiers and/or republicans are bashing Obamacare. Guess what guys? When the initial bill was passed it was ONLY passed because of the addendums republicans put on which HURT the actual bill. I actually read the whole bill and watched this play out in congress so before you start saying Obama is the reason Obamacare is bad... Look at what your party did idiots.
fix health care costs by living healthy not sitting on the couch drinking and smoking and eating only McDonalds. we dont need obama care we need personal accountability.
@MrDag4wd - Right, because no one who lives a healthy life has ever been hit by a car, been trapped in a burning building, gotten shot by a stray bullet, gotten hurt on the job, developed cancer/glaucoma/epilepsy/disease_etc. Personal health is not always a factor of personal control.
I didn't know that tarp was paid off I guess companies like AIG paid back their 100 billion dollars and so did Freddie and Fannie. What a joke if you think tarp was a good idea then I bet you love QE 2.
This is complete bullshit.... so sad that people don't understand most of the issues yet they will make a video about it. Maybe you ought to look up some facts before making a video. So let me point some real tea party ideas and arguments.
Firstly tons of tea partiers didn't like bush and aren't republicans
secondly the 1 trillion that bush spent looks pretty insignificant next to what obama is spending
thirdly the new health care reform will NOT fix our health care costs.
@rockingForever17 Nuff said? Please site those sources. Perhaps you should look up debt caused by Bush? 3 trillion alone of debt just so the rich could have less taxes. OH, but it's supposed to "trickle down" to the rest of the economy. Yeah, it trickled down in terms of firings to the middle class so they could keep profits.
@opexxxx my bad, you are right, Bush did spend 3 trillion not one, that was a mistake. Anyways it still looks insignificant next to what Obama has spent. Oh and Im not sticking up for Bush. Bush wasn't that great of a president, I relize that, I just think that next to Obama he looks like JFK or Regan or *insert favorite president here*
As for Bushes tax cuts, I still don't think its fair to say they were only for the rich. The Bush family has historically have gone against such tax cuts.
@opexxxx (cont) when Regan first came up with the idea of trickle down wealth, Bush Sr. called it ""voodoo economics". Bush Jr. followed this same principle. I know my dad benifited from the tax cuts and he is definitely not what I would call rich, my dad makes right under six figures (about 90,000).
@rockingForever17 I see your points, but you are still incorrect that what Bush spent is insignificant. Google "U.S. president debt wiki" and click on the wikipedia article. Obama is about matched with Bush now unless you factor in the fact that Obama had to inherit the failing economy and bailouts started by Bush. If you did that, and you ruled out TARP, that's like an extra 8% you can lob off of Obama's numbers.
The "facts" about healthcare reform in this video are absolute crap. The CBO, the lewin group, and other non partisan economists have all concluded that the bill passed will cause deficits AND individual health care costs to increase. It will also lead to a rationing of services, but i guess that was conveniently left out of your profanity filled, talking point parroting video.
@dawells33us U.S. health care isn't the only joke, I've heard that the U.K. is not the place to get hurt because of the waits to get treatment. There once was an economist named Milton Friedman, he started out saying that interventionalism was good and supported the New Deal, he later decided he was wrong. During his lifetime he inferred that deregulation of the health care system would provide better, less expensive care, he was a pretty common sense economist, who I mostly agree with.
>>>>>>>Whoever made these videos about the tea party is largely misinformed. It's not a movement or party, it was made up of Ron Paul campaign 2008 supporters who believe in a whole host of things, but majorly influenced by Ron Paul's libertarian idea's, which is a good thing because it indicates change in American idea's. But whoever made these videos seems to think that they are a political party. They are not. Just organized rallies. That's all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so the answer is to continue to vote for the democrats? the very people who are either so imcompatant or so manipulative that they waited to debate the 2011 budget untill april 2011. playing politics so as to point the finger at the tea party for the lack of a budget and a potential governement shutdown, rather than doing their jobs. that budget should have been in place by 30 sept 2010, and by the way who controlled both congress and the whitehouse then.oh yea the dems. good call. change right
wow, this one was terrible. t-party bear didn't rep crap and the other female bear wouldn't stfu! typical woman. and what's this birth cert crap about? that ONLY applies to the pres of the usa. this isn't just bias, it's retarded
@lovecraft4780 wow you are blind to what is happening around you, if you actually pay attention to anything that the Tea Party says then you can see just how little of a suggestion they provide. Quit complaining about how you think everything is going to hell and do something about it !!!!!
It's rather ironic that the author's intent to attack the tea party as a bunch of empty slogan, name calling simpletons then proceeds to engage in precisely those tactics. The Tea Party is stoopid and Republicans caused all the problems on Earth. Yeah, like we haven't heard that before! Hahaha! Good luck with making the USA into Sweden guys!

Thumbs down to your ignorance.

@Fablefiend lol, r u saying you believe the teaparty is trying to hurt the poor but not that their trying to teach christianity? or that u like that they r trying to do those things except for teaching christianity?
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 The tea party movement is really just a surge of libertarianism. Smaller government, free trade, cutting welfare, lowering taxes, and basically instilling social darwinism. Most tea partiers aren't true libertarians, but just extreme republicans, but it doesn't matter their position on social programs. The tea party movement doesn't address punishing gays and non-christians.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend i dont see how u can say that? when they say things like they want to permanently ban gay marraige, that being gay is evil and wrong. or when they say they want to teach creationism in science class, or when they say ppl should get off welfare and go to a church for assistance. making an athiest go to a church for help is like making a christian go to an abortion clinic for their kids hcare. perry, cain, bachmann, and paul have all said things like this. these r attacks on them
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 You chose the most radical, insane republicans you could (besides paul). :P When has Ron Paul said anything about that? Just because some tea partiers feel that way doesn't mean the entire movement is like that. For example, Herman Cain said that he doesn't feel comfortable having a Muslim in his Cabinet. Does that mean every Republican is like that? Does every Democrat support everything Obama does?
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend paul said that if someone needs care, they should go to a church instead of getting govt assistance. and has said he wants to end min wage laws to make us more competitive.. this would allow companies like walmart, target, gas stations, etc to pay ppl 3$ an hour if they want.. this is extreme.. if he also killed medicaid, food stamps, etc (less govt right) it would mean 60+ million ppl would either starve in the street, or kill ppl to survive. we need to pay the poor more not less.
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 Sounds great. Hate to be harsh, but that's how it works. Why should I pay more money just because people had an accident or got hurt? I highly doubt 60,000,000 would starve if food stamps are eliminated. Not even that many people died during the Great Depression. In 1934, the population was about 6,000,000. There were 110 deaths directly related to starving. That's .000183% of the population in the worst possible place in the worst possible time. Let's compare this to the USSR, shall we
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend cont from below. its never good when were comparing us to the USSR. and the evidence is the marie antionette scenario.. which happened more than once in history, when the rich would push and push to keep everything and the majority of the pop. couldnt self sustain themselves, they revolted, often with bloody countrywide results.. a countrys level of greatness is determined by its poorest people, if they can selfsustain, the country is doing well, when they cant, it falls..
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 The French Revolution was caused because the people couldn't afford paying the ridiculous taxe. Also, I have no idea where you are getting these figures that 65% of the population needs welfare and food stamps.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend not now, now its 1 in 6 ppl on food stamps, and 1 in 3 that need healthcare. look, when the GOP say they want to make the country "more attractive" to companies that have jobs in say china, they mean cut pay. and they openly say they want to get rid of the min wage laws. so that companies can pay less money to their employees, which will bring more jobs. BUT 35% now make less than 35k (the avg cost of living) this will multiply, and with no govt assist, these ppl will starve
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 The way I see it, we have two choices.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend but we have a thrid choice.. the FACT is, the problem isnt the cost, its the greed of corps.. see, in the 50s the avg income was only 5k.yr.. BUT a new car was 1k, a new home was 7k. the rich make 50-100k and the rest went to the workers and costs. now the avg is 40k, but a new car is 30k, a home is 300k and the rich make 10-50 million. we need to make them stop. choice c. implement 100% tariffs on companies w american liscences who outsource, and make them lose thier patents..cont.
raztis1 5 months ago
@Fablefiend cont. from above.. SO, if a company starts up, becomes large and then outsources. they lose their patents. AND.. lets say they sell pens (easy) here for 1$, and it costs .75 to make here, they decide to go to china so they can make it for .15cents. not only do they lose their patent, so an american company can now make the pen here. but they get tariffed for 100% value. so now, they can make it for .15 in china, but it costs them 1.15$ just to make a profit. they come back.
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 Great. More government regulations. The problem is that the business would just leave the United States. More profit in England? Move to england, outsource jobs to China, and make tons of money for the UK economy. By taking away the richest people in the world, you are also getting rid of the biggest philanthropists and supporters of education, the arts, animal cruelty prevention, etc.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend like i said tho.. if they move.. cool, they lose their patents.. now a US based company that wants to stay here can make the same product, but manuf it here.. more US jobs, higher wages, means less need for social programs, we can get back to the days of the man working 40hrs a week, and paying for everything the family needs without worry, etc. anything else will just put more power in the hands of the companies, so they can charge more, pay less, and kill our economy.
raztis1 4 months ago
@raztis1 Bingo Fablefiend. Thats exactly how you deal with big corpa threats about leaving the country if they get regulated. Regulate them more. They WILL do business here, they have no choice. They have just successfully bullied and terrified so many into thinking otherwise.
EmperorofCartoons 5 months ago
@raztis1 In Ukraine SSR 1932-1933, there were between 2.4-7.5 million deaths due to starvation (about 10% of the population). This is in a purely socialist/communist state (i.e. the other extreme scenerio). Keep in mind these are absolute worst-case scenerios. Realistically, these won't happen again. What I'm trying to say is, millions of people won't die from lowered taxes.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend no, but they will based on HOW they get those lower taxes. they have openly said their plan is to kill min wage laws, kill medicaid, food stamps, govt housing and childcare, and extremely reduce soc. security and medicare. THESE WILL kill millions of ppl. the cost of living is 35k a yr. a min wage job NOW pays 16k, millions of ppl suplement the remaining cost thru govt assistance. if these r gone.. AND min wage goes to say 4$. ppl will starve, ppl will kill to eat...cont..
raztis1 5 months ago
@Fablefiend ..cont.. about 60% to 70% of the pop. make less than 35k a year.. if their wages r cut in half, AND they have no govt assistance. what r their choices.. repubs say "get an education" well that takes 4+yrs. in a good situation.. but how can u get a degree if your a single parent with three kids working two jobs only because you have govt childcare. and even then your only making 28-30k a yr... its not realistic, and you force them into a choice of starving or killing to feed kids
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 You have no historical evidence supporting these claims. You also seem to forget about charity. Many charities are currently supporting low-income families, and more would surely pop up in the event of eliminating taxes. The thing is though, the government, and I, shouldn't have to care for every single person and their issues. All of the taxes the government places on the rich would have been used for philanthropy. Bill Gates pledged 90% of his total money to charities as did Buffet.
Fablefiend 5 months ago
@Fablefiend charities work when a smll portion of the pop. need assistance, but because of todays corperations and laws, this isnt a "small portion" do u think charities could sustain 65% of the pop. every day of the year, every year. it doesnt work. when the GOP talk about making america more "attractive" to businesses, they mean cut pay.. it doesnt work, and when ppl like u dont have to "care" about it, then 65% take what they need, from u.. by force. thats WHY we need to sustain them.
raztis1 5 months ago
@raztis1 Totally feel you there, however, Ron Paul was using the Church as just an example of how people used to do things before there was welfare and medacaid, etc. Paul is a true freedom candidte and I romise that he would not expect an aethiest to go to a church for donations. He also would not phase our our social programs untill people had a leg to stand on. If you want, I can send you more specifics on how this would work. But RIGHT ARM MAN!!!! YOU GET EM!

#6 Bush era tax breaks. The Bush era tax breaks are scheduled to end in 2012 anyway. Stop crying about not getting an increase in revenue. You'll get it when we get spending cuts!
lobestarter1 6 months ago
#5. Being in pursuit of liberty is quite a bit different than being a liberal! Civil liberties are important, but liberals seem to be more concerned with welfare and immigration than trying to keep people's earnings in their pockets, and yeah I won't apologize for not wanting to pay for some illegal immigrants health care bill or retirement (social security).
lobestarter1 6 months ago
#4. Obama's policies are the same as bush. The fact that bush and Obama both bail out the banks and corporations instead of cutting a check to the taxpayer should be enough to show that they don't care about you. Too big to fail is a crock!
lobestarter1 6 months ago
#3 mind you Bush was no conservative. Bush spent a total of 4.858 trillion dollars in 8 years as president compared to Obama spending 3.445 trillion dollars in his first two years as president. Bush averaged .607 trillion a year compared to Obama spending 1.723 trillion a year. So, to say that Obama hasn't spent as much as Bush would be correct, but only because he hasn't had enough time yet. Give him the time and he will spend way more than Bush ever dreamed.
lobestarter1 6 months ago

The GOP is still fucking up the U.S., thanks to the voices of numerous misinformed ignorami that compose the Tea Party, only now they can blame the increase in dept to President Obama, who doesn't do a thing to stop the Republicans plans to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

2008-2010 we were on road to recovery
late 2010-2011 teabaggers get elected and go to congress and now our economy gets raped
america just lost its credit virginity cus of the teabaggers
s&p never mentioned any shit about downgrade until the fking teabaggers disrupted our democracy
send teabaggers to the guillotine
p90xsteroids 6 months ago
@p90xsteroids road to recovery? the last congress push all the budget and debt limit increase to the end of last year so they would fall on the new congress. there had been fears that we could lose the AAA credit rating since o8. and we are NOT A FUCKING DEMOCRACY. any one who passed high school should know this.
harperjoe 6 months ago
@harperjoe guess it depends whether you've been educated in some backwards hick town or in a prosperous town
stupid fearful people always whine and cry the loudest and they are always so hypocritical
argue all the want no matter what i say stupid is as stupid does
p90xsteroids 6 months ago
@p90xsteroids the US is a republic. where you have your education has nothing to do with it. how you draw a line between those two is on you. also instead of having debate and working thur the problems. even if all the teaparty is are views on topics and limited scope you should still hear them out. but instead you say send them to the guillotine. so if you can't win you kill people who disagree with you? this is a sign of a weak person.
harperjoe 6 months ago
@harperjoe lol guess what a republic is: representative democracy
lol you think thats worse than those obama jokes about the noose?
ive already heard enough from teabaggers and they are extremists trying to take away our rights and trying to impose their ideology on others
yes, im willing to kill extremists to defend my family and my neighbors just like we do with the taliban and osama
tea part and taliban, so much in common
p90xsteroids 6 months ago
@p90xsteroids yes but a republic is still different than a DEMOCRACY. there are a some good book and papesr written on why we did not go with the latter. Noose jokes? never heard one. but yes since the guillotine was used to kill people in France who did not agree with the ruling party yes i think it's worst. becuz many were killed for simply disagreeing. which rights are they taking away? i will stand with you if that is true? ( but under obama the patriot act has been expanded so idk)
harperjoe 6 months ago
@p90xsteroids Tea Partiers are not extremists we're just sick of our Liberal leadership.
"I've already heard enough from teabaggers and they are extremists trying to take away our rights and trying to impose their ideology on others, yes, im willing to kill extremists to defend my family and my neighbors just like we do with the taliban and osama"
so your saying you want to kill american citizens that are in the Teaparty? your the fucking extremist nut dude read what u just wrote!
DailyStaley 6 months ago
@DailyStaley so you elect teabaggers who have huge amounts of personal debt to solve our nation's debt problem when the economy, job creation, and infrastructure repair is our priority
why dont all of you sign pledges to refuse social security, etc?
im sick of the taliban tea party extremism
dont be an extremist and dont threaten my rights and youll be safe
the civil war was fought between american citizens, american citizens killed each other, so which side was the extremist nuts in that war?
p90xsteroids 6 months ago
@harperjoe what is an extremists? how do you place that label. you call for the death of people part of the tea party movement or who agree with them. are you not an extremists? and the tae party is not like the taliban. you may wish that they were to give support to your distorted view of the nation. but they are worlds apart my friend. i hope the coming years of age bring peace to your heart and mind.
harperjoe 6 months ago
@harperjoe so making threats to obama and other liberals is okay but making death jokes about the taliban tea party is not okay, got ya
anything (more like any truth) that disagrees with their view is extremism
ive heard their threats to life and prosperity from their shock jocks
the guillotine was a medical device turned murder weapon because the french peasants got fed up with the bullshit given to them by the rich, the king, and their tax collectors - sounds a lot like tea party vs taxes
p90xsteroids 6 months ago
@p90xsteroids your view on the use of the guillotine and the french revolution are over simplified. and again i have not seen any death jokes. which shock jocks are you talking about?
harperjoe 6 months ago
@harperjoe as oversimplified as taliban tea party calling its opponents and critics socialists, communists, anti-american, enemies, diseased, etc
im quite sure you never heard the death jokes just like i never heard rumors about obama being born in kenya
the shock jocks and their videos are available on the internet, even here on youtube for you to see and hear the hate, fear, and ignorance

MrDag4wd 7 months ago
@MrDag4wd - Right, because no one who lives a healthy life has ever been hit by a car, been trapped in a burning building, gotten shot by a stray bullet, gotten hurt on the job, developed cancer/glaucoma/epilepsy/disease_etc. Personal health is not always a factor of personal control.

Nuff said.
rockingForever17 8 months ago
@rockingForever17 Nuff said? Please site those sources. Perhaps you should look up debt caused by Bush? 3 trillion alone of debt just so the rich could have less taxes. OH, but it's supposed to "trickle down" to the rest of the economy. Yeah, it trickled down in terms of firings to the middle class so they could keep profits.
opexxxx 7 months ago
@opexxxx my bad, you are right, Bush did spend 3 trillion not one, that was a mistake. Anyways it still looks insignificant next to what Obama has spent. Oh and Im not sticking up for Bush. Bush wasn't that great of a president, I relize that, I just think that next to Obama he looks like JFK or Regan or *insert favorite president here*
As for Bushes tax cuts, I still don't think its fair to say they were only for the rich. The Bush family has historically have gone against such tax cuts.
rockingForever17 7 months ago
@opexxxx (cont) when Regan first came up with the idea of trickle down wealth, Bush Sr. called it ""voodoo economics". Bush Jr. followed this same principle. I know my dad benifited from the tax cuts and he is definitely not what I would call rich, my dad makes right under six figures (about 90,000).
rockingForever17 7 months ago
@rockingForever17 I see your points, but you are still incorrect that what Bush spent is insignificant. Google "U.S. president debt wiki" and click on the wikipedia article. Obama is about matched with Bush now unless you factor in the fact that Obama had to inherit the failing economy and bailouts started by Bush. If you did that, and you ruled out TARP, that's like an extra 8% you can lob off of Obama's numbers.
opexxxx 7 months ago
THIS IS FUCKING HILARIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gregtheswimmer 8 months ago
The "facts" about healthcare reform in this video are absolute crap. The CBO, the lewin group, and other non partisan economists have all concluded that the bill passed will cause deficits AND individual health care costs to increase. It will also lead to a rationing of services, but i guess that was conveniently left out of your profanity filled, talking point parroting video.

us health care is a joke
dawells33us 8 months ago

Manofheart777 9 months ago
so the answer is to continue to vote for the democrats? the very people who are either so imcompatant or so manipulative that they waited to debate the 2011 budget untill april 2011. playing politics so as to point the finger at the tea party for the lack of a budget and a potential governement shutdown, rather than doing their jobs. that budget should have been in place by 30 sept 2010, and by the way who controlled both congress and the whitehouse then.oh yea the dems. good call. change right

@lovecraft4780 wow you are blind to what is happening around you, if you actually pay attention to anything that the Tea Party says then you can see just how little of a suggestion they provide. Quit complaining about how you think everything is going to hell and do something about it !!!!!
Ddudex14 10 months ago
It's rather ironic that the author's intent to attack the tea party as a bunch of empty slogan, name calling simpletons then proceeds to engage in precisely those tactics. The Tea Party is stoopid and Republicans caused all the problems on Earth. Yeah, like we haven't heard that before! Hahaha! Good luck with making the USA into Sweden guys!
