Does this machine automatically map it's self to say, Virtual DJ?

I'm new to the whole digital thing.

But I've heard a lot of people having trouble mapping their Midi controllers to laptop software...like the NDX800.

If it has the same quality as the MTPRO, I give it the nayno my dami. The faders will crap out and i dont c any room for crossfader replacement. On the other hand it might be great for a mix dj not much for a scratcher...

@krome411 If you want moving platters, get yourself a pair of turntables and a mixer then. Some people here don't mind not having motorized/moving platters. And how does non-motorized platters sound like shit compared to the real thing? They're both playing the same sound, the motors don't even mean anything, it just shows you the track is playing. The actual DAC, Amp and speakers are the ones that make the sound, not the spinning plastic.

@KelvinYapXII Ridiculous, it's not the same sound and I can clearly tell you never used a motorized table. First of all try doing any scratch from DJ Qberts tutorial on your plastic toy, then try it on the motorized. You will quickly understand why it's completely different.

@shanellemusique If they are anything like the Mixtrack Pro then they are quite big, and it appears then are the same size. The resolution on the N4 is better meaning that you get more responsive control when scratching.

Numark should expanded on the motorized theme with a NS7 type controller independent of the need of a computer but can use either media source; usb, sd, midi with a 4 Channel mixer with line in. Compliment the NS7 4 channel controller with a motorized V7 with multi media capability. Of course both with high resolution displays. You can call it the NS8 and V8 respectively.

@patrick101206 it is serato itch 2.0 basically. i got my hands on a beta of it and it is the same as itch. i think what they are trying to do is sell it with cheaper equipment so people think they have something new. the only thing different is the layout of the effects section

AWESOME!!!!! I like the fact it is also has the ability to pass time code. From research I have done it can be used with VDJ and your choice of time codes even Serato time codes or Virtual DJ's. Plus you have 4 deck control and it is lighter than other versions! OMG I have died and gone to heaven :)
