I'm sure most native Japanese-American speakers really don't give a damn, or go about distancing themselves from dubbing so vulgarly. It's all preference, but the dubbing isn't terrible. You don't know what bad dubbing is until you've watched One Piece, or watched a dubbed hentai episode or something.

But when One Piece (the anime) started getting badass, with shounen moments like Luffy wailing on Lucci, that voice isn't the least bit appropriate.
