Best childhood memory? I was ill for months with chicken pox and scarlet fever, delirious.

It was spring and my Dad found a huge Glass Jar, Like the size of a water cooler bottle and filled it with lilac branches from the from yard and orange Monarch butterflies so I could enjoy the spring. The thought and effort that took always fills me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

They wanted to found a country where people could practice there religion freely, despite the particular brand, and also had in mind to keep the government out of religion as much as possible. The words "Under God" were not printed on money, nor were they in the pledge of allegiance until after the civil war, nearly a hundred years after the founding of America.
