  • I actually have videos on my channel of my no-death run of the US NES version. I should probably re-extract the file from the DVD and re-upload it as one file since I don't have the 10 minute limit anymore

  • I'm an American and I have known about Dizzy for a long time mate. Dizzy in the US wasn't popular like Sonic or Mario but Americans knew who Dizzy was if they were hardcore gamers. :)

  • I played all of the Dizzy games on my 48k ZX Spectrum in early 90s. They were very addicting and fun. I think it appeared on Basic ZX Spectrum computers not "8-bit" computers, though they must be the same thing. There is also one Dizzy game that came for NES in a fat cartridge. It was called Dizzy Adventure or something. Horoshie u tebya video

  • @StopFear Yes, ZX Spectrum, C64 & Amstrad (all of the most popular Dizzy platforms) are all 8-bit home computers. Dizzy the Adventurer came to NES on "Quattro Adventure" cartridge as well as stand alone in an "Aladdin" cartridge. Spasibo! :)

  • I'm under 20, and English, and I grew up with this. -3-

xD I love this game. Never finished this, though. I was probably too young to play it properly.

  • @emokidmercedes im 19 and me and my sisters would take turns playing this .

  • i miss my amiga..

  • I never completed this game, good times though.

  • Never heard about this Dizzy..

  • man, i like ur videos! it brings me memories and a lot of nostalgic feelings, good 2 no im not the only 1

  • @carbonseven1st Thank you for your kind words.

  • Treasure island Dizzy is my fave, even if it is just for the epic soundtrack (esp -Amiga rendition).

  • That crossbow challenge raped me every time I tried it. Spend a few hours to get there then get raped in 3 minutes... and I kept doing that... a while.

  • @Ryuuzaki3010 I don't think it's that hard. The mine cart ride is the biggest challenge for me. It's a shame that down the rapids got omitted from 16 bit versions since I actually like it quite a bit.

  • The archery might be hard if you don't know the button that lets you duck the incoming projectiles.

  • my fave games from my youth.......

  • I'm an American and I've been a Dizzy fan all my life. -_-

  • @LittleFoxDude Consider yourself one of a few lucky ones, sir.

  • I loved Dizzy, Was one of the 1st games i ever played on an Amstrad

  • @Softcore118 I started on a ZX Sinclair clone personally...

  • I had magicland dizzy on an old PC. That was weird but in a good way, i was young and found it really diffecult but also in a good way, kind of stimulating. the whole games basically one big puzzle.

  • Never played this, looks like fun! Thanks for the video showcasing the game!

  • Dizzy rocks indeed!

  • I'm from the US and I had this for Sega since I was five 15 years ago...didn't know it was big overseas and rare here in the states.

One of my favorite Sega games.

  • oh how i love this game. i started playing when i was 3 years old...

  • that after music plays at the beginning ??

  • I am 19 AND American and i do know Dizzy quite well, I played the game a lot back on the Sega Genesis. ;)

  • You're just one of the few lucky ones :)

  • Duke Nukem and Test Drive III!

I remember playing a Dizzy game once. Seeing the boxing gloves, I expected him to be a decent hero like Cosmo or Commander Keen, but since he got splat by everything in an instant, I was kind of disappointed. I never actually got back to it and I think I went with Monster Bash instead. Too bad I didn't get my hands on this Dizzy game back then...

  • Great review, dude! I love this game, it's huge! So much to do in it.

Dude, I like your accent, are you russian?

  • I most certainly am, sir :)

  • Awesome! Keep up the great work, dude!

  • I loved this game series!!

I remember the one when you start in a castle and this one had a bit different graphics was cool.

But Fantastic Dizzy doesn't start from a Stonehenge-like place??

  • Magicland Dizzy is the one with the Stonehenge.

Fantasy World Dizzy is the one with the castle.

  • yeah but he keeps bringing it up like it is so much that I bought it for the NES and now I am amazed that such a game made it onto the nes

  • Awesome review, can't wait for the next one!

  • Yahtzee called fantasy world dizzy the best game ever.

  • Yeah, and he also said later on that it was a joke. :) Fantasy World is a pretty solid game though.
