Actually, in the 1st edition, Regis says this:

"So, there you are! You're a millionaire! Yeah! Can you believe it? Don't believe it. Just kidding. You're kind of a millionaire! You're a fake millionaire! But you had a good time, didn't you? What else do you want?! We all love ya! Congratulations."

As I recall, the PC version also had this or at least something very similar. It was strange how Regis's personality was completely different from the show... he was much more snarky, more sarcastic in the game. It's an attitude that certainly works for this kind of game (e.g. You Don't Know Jack), but it should be consistent with the host's established character, yeah?

Interesting that Regis would say "You're a pretend millionaire" - because legal issues are currently keeping the new "Super Millionaire" primetime version off the air, Regis is currently "a pretend game show host."
