It was live. You can even buy her live album. I saw that show and she really has an incredible range and so much soul. Too bad she was gone so early. May she RIP

@KevoBlues88 I think that is what frightens people. They someone this talented, someone who can sing and play guitar, and they realise what utter rubbish passes for music these days.
I mean, if alot of the boy bands and girl bands died tomorrow, their legacy would be this: nothing.
Yet she died, and it is 15 years later and people still talk about her, and listen to her. Some people have to create a persona to be remembered. They forget that it all boils down talent and music.

The Nightline special on Eva made me bawl my eyes out;i guess she went up and performed during a benefit for her while she was dying of cancer,and under the influence of heavy painkillers;she sang "What a Wonderful World"; Not a dry eye in the house; anyway I guess those jerks at ABC realized how popular the special was and pulled it of Youtube;they're now selling it;screw them;I hope Cable kills that network.

@nor888vast695 Van Morrison certainly knew what it was to be skinned by the musicmeisters. His song "My own people did it to me" says a lot about the wolves out there. Anyhow I don't believe that Eva really wanted to be a hard boiled cookie in musicland. I believe she was happy with her life. Unfortunately we'll never find out. Oh yeah I can't quit listening to her; so much soul & style.

Eva was a great person, I knew her in Bowie growing up.We were both in bands and saw each other at shows or parties once in while.I still have a picture that she doodled at a party we were at.RIP Eva ,Miss ya! D.R
