That's totally messed up. I wouldn't want that guy (or anyone else) to use that method on me. In fact, that is not professionalism at all (if the guy happens to be a legal hairstylist). If he is certified, he should be fired. You're only supposed to use an electric razor within close proximity to the scalp, not to trim lengthy hair. Shame on him. I don't mean to tell him how to do his job, but ANYONE would know that is an incorrect procedure to trim long hair. Use scissors, dude.

Her hair *was* already perfectly blunt and in perfect condition. No need to cut even an inch off her beautiful mane. Presumably the hairdresser told her to get "rid of the weight" or the like instead of complimenting her on her wonderful and healthy growth and supporting her decision to let it grow long.

In fact she was sheared twice, first the big trim you see at the start and then also an additional almost two inches, so she lost quite some length. No wonder she didn't look too happy ...
