Yes, human life can be cruel at times, possibly even most times, but if cruelty didn't exist among us humans, we'd be raiding the world more so than ever before. Why isn't a bigger fuss made about the firebombing of Tokyo then? Hiroshima seems like the lesser of two evils.

frankly im shocked by how few people even KNOW of the tokyo fire bombings, let alone the details of them. and you are right, the tokyo firebombing of the capital cities took far more lives than the hiroshima. i assume history chose to remember hiroshima because it was a first. there were many fire bombings across the globe at that point in time, but the A-bomb was a new and terrifying weapon that only one nation had.

first of all i would like to point out that this video kind of misses the point the song portrays, which boils down to that we are destroying the earth. its not a song about war. that being said, great video and it was very moving.
now, wildwolf77, war does come from politics and economic factors, look at Iraq as an example. The U.S. is in there for oil (as well as other things) to give its self a political and economic advantage during the times or rising oil prices and increased volatility.

I don't want to desapoint you but the war don't comes because politics or any psicologic desorder, the war and the all chaos included the center of all problems "the falling MAN" comes from the SIN and nobody can stop it, and if even God is a police we can´t consider Him like an enemy, but yes, haha, if we are on the way of evil, God consider us His enemies, righteousnes is righteounes, love is love, and God is both, if we open the door to Him, he takes the control of the empire of our life.

Please, people, get a grip -- A government is created/sustained by the people it is supposed to govern, with and by their authority and permission. The people then trust the government to handle their affairs -- for what? It generally turns into a monster on it's own. Why do you permit it? IT'S YOUR GOVERNMENT, PEOPLE. YOUR'S!! IF IT DOESN'T SERVE YOU, AS YOU BELIEVE IT SHOULD, REPLACE IT ASAP. (P.S: I am not from the Western hemisphere -- FYI)

Dictators bring peace too... World peacekeepers? Not really, it's all geopolitics: whatever conflict is started has a political origin, usually agenced by several countries secret services; and US ones are usually the first present. In any conflict, any scale, even between two drunk guys; the person who stands in between them to 'police' them will be considered an enemy, its human psychology. USA should police their own country first and leave others alone.

mmm....it shows both sides, how some man are willing to do anything to protect their country/freedom and the bad consequences of war on innocent people. The bad decisions of a few leaders on top makes everybody below affected in many ways including soldiers and civilians...... I dono... there could be many ways of looking at it... but the video is not against anyone, it just shows what happens in life. o_O maybe somebody else could put it in better words. Paz

@danielartes it shows how the casualties of war are the innocents , children , civilians. those who join armies know what an army is . so they live by the gun they die by the gun . war is hell. and only after a soldier has been in combat does he truly understand the horror of what he has got invoved in . regardless of creed , country ,reason the war if fought for . i think the message is all war is bloodshed and horror. can we not evolve from this, ex ira.
