The rock thing is true whether or not you breastfeed. When your milk 'comes in' on about the third day your breasts can feel quite solid. I remember thinking someone had put something in the bed the first time when I rolled over on them. This will happen whatever. If you breastfeed this will ease as you feed. If you don't breastfeed it will take a bit longer as your body absorbs the milk.

of course, just because you do not breast feed your child does not necessarily mean that your child will not have a high IQ. I was not breastfed and yet graduated in the NHS. It could be hypothetical or still in study but there are a few beneficial factors to breast feeding to formula.
