Building it yourself isn't really cheaper...it is a lot less than buying a ready-to-run kit, but an assemble kit comes without batteries, and the command unit. I prefer the assemble kits because it gives you the freedom to purchase your own hopups and install them without dishing the cash for an rtr and then replacing all the cheap shit it comes with. I am in the process of buying the tt-01d supra kit...$150. Spent $100 on two venom 5000 mah batteries now all I need is a decent command. My

@jameschoi999 its really not that bad lol..i have 3 cars...2 of which were RTR the 3rd one was a tt-01D silvia kit...it took me about 12-15 hours to complete cuz i was checking online on certain parts like painting it and things..and there were one or two areas that got me stuck looking for a certain part...but if you follow the manual ...youll be good to go ^_^ within 10 hours lol

if you put drift tyres on normall tt01 it wil not be the same as on vid tt01d have modified engine,shorten springs, and many more.

I built 4 TT01 so far quit easy when you follow the instructions the hard part is fitting all the lights wiring in the body takes approx 15 hrs all together from box to track, nice hobby

I do this to pass the time so why should I Rush, one hour seem's a bit too fast

I will spend 5 hours just for the body just the decals takes at least 2 hours OK the lighting system an other 2.5 hrs to complete it hide the wires and all.

Thats what I mean when I say it takes 15 hrs all together.

on the gears, the ends of the drive shaft, and lightly on the bearings or bushings. In the manual for the car the shaded areas represent where you should grease.

damn ur tt01d looks sick with white mines light candy blue doesnt look as clean as urs tho cause i race mine as well as drift comps in groovy dift here in socal but if i shuld reccomend u shuld use the new side winder series brushless u can adjust the throttle rates and make ur drifts look amazing NICE JOB!!! :)

tt 01 D is better because the chasis is different, and i think its much easier to drift with, i just got my tt01 d subaru wrx. its abit differnt than a tt01, id suggest a tt01 d because its way more faster, and fun
