Sometimes when I get into the mood of studying I can sit down and just study without any distractions and so on but sometimes.. I just cant stop getting distracted and stuff. Watching videos like this is RLY helpful and gets me motivated. It Makes me feel like im not the only one going through the pain of revising and that in the long run it will do me only good. wow your clipboard thing is genius! right now i have 10 different notebooks/binders, alternating and carrying about 6 each day (I'm taking seven courses, 2 labs, and i like to have a different notebook for recitation.) needless to say, the lugging is awful on my back. im so going to use that idea! I do believe hard work is not genetic, and I totally know what you mean about some people not having 'it.' I have some friends who just can't get things done, and others who are really flaky about their commitments, academic and otherwise. I don't know how to explain it, I only know who I am and how I operate, you know?

I'm about to start studying, I just installed leechblock and I'm all ready to go! Tonight I think I'm going to make a 'pump me up for studying' soundtrack!

There are times when I feel like.. I just can't get started, so I printed off a big sign that I put under the glass on my desk that says "Short term pain for long term GAIN" and when I just can't get started.. I just read that and it makes me remember how important it is to keep on studyin'!

I have 2 finals next week, and I will definately be using leechblock because the internet is my weakness, especially when I use the computer for past exams...! i always go into my exams after only sleeping for 2-3 hours but it works for me whereas i have friends who do that only sporadically and it definitely doesn't work for them. so i think the most important thing is consistency in your studying habits

Haha, that depends on how prepared you are. I usually study multiple subjects at the same time and start to focus in on a specific course about 2 days before the actual final.

You are so disciplined! I always love to see how people study. Back when I was doing my undergrad, I went to such a highly competitive university that when I asked how people studied, I'd get dirty looks! Like: "yeah, right I'm not telling YOU."

Thanks! These tips will go in handy for next year's exam. Cause in my country, you'll have to take an exam when you're 12. If you don't pass, you'll have to repeat a level. If you pass, you can graduate into a high school. But the better your grades are, the better schools you can enter. Those low standard schools are filled with gangsters and illegal smokers.
